Still on my journey to find a good enough nail shop and this is shop isn’t in the running. I came in for a fill and a fix and left with a full set. When I sat down, I asked how much my 2 nails would be to fix as well as the fill. The woman said that it would be $ 20, cool. She began asking if I wanted gel, I replied saying that I didn’t. But me saying no wasn’t registering for her. Smh. She gave me a thing of colored nails so that I could pick my color. Eventually I picked. But I’ll tell you guys about that later. She began filing with the machine and clipping areas on both hands. She ended up taking all of the nails off and told me that I would have to get a new set. No, not asked if I wanted one, TOLD ME. She did ask however, if I wanted tips. I said no. This time she understood the meaning to that word. The patience that she used while doing my set was probably the only thing that I felt good about.
Returning from washing my hands after the fill she was about to paint my nails with the color that I picked. I noticed that it was in a while bottle. Those that get their nails done, know that white bottles mean gel. But didn’t I tell her I did not want it? Yes I did. I told her again that I didn’t want gel. But you would think that she would have told me it was gel when I picked it. I guess not. So she told me okay and if I wanted any other color. I said no because their selection wasn’t all that. There were no opi products that I could see, not even Essie. I told her to just put a clear coat on and she was okay with that. I ended up paying $ 25 for my time there. My rating of 2 comes from the pricing. The customer service would be one star.

Please be careful of even attempting to ask for what you want as a well versed customer in purchasing nail services. I just paid $ 32 for an unprofessional and even worse, end product for a refill. To ask for what I wanted as a customer was a battle. The technician kept stating that she knows, she knows and basically provided terrible service. In addition, they will over charge you for incomplete nail service and keep you longer than anticipated. They don’t communicate at all and it made the experience horrible. I will never go back.

I always come here for an mani pedi and eyebrow wax with Lily. I’m very picky with who and how my services are done. My manis and pedis are always clean of all cuticles and dead skin and my polish is always long lasting. I always bring my own polish so I don’t care much for their polish selections but they have a big gel polish selection and my gel manis always last 2 – 3 weeks. My eyebrows are always on point also. And the prices are pretty cheap!
