Fisher’s Ace Hardware & Rental

Less gas & time than commuting to big chain home improvement stores compensates when higher price; & in addition to supporting local biz, I like the more available, helpful, creative, neighborly staff just as knowledgeable if not more so than big chains right down to the knowledgeable helpful cashiers who also quickly get you help to your car if need; better product selection; & the only shop I can find which still hand-​guides key copies = more like originals/​better functionality than automated cutting I’ve had to return to other places.
One reviewer says «bait & switch» sales but I’ve never had that prob though small store I can see how they could run out but I go quickly when sales flyers arrive in postal mail; & online promo purchases can be delivered to store they hold in the back for you.
I do NOT like the ACE credit card tiered Rewards % & coupons that expire quickly, but I always use my Ace membership card (required for some store specials) & run in quickly before those rewards expire after arriving postal or email.

4.5 stars if I could.
I like this place. Seldom do I go in there for some odd thing that they can’t help me out.
Staff is always GR8! Seems like most of them know what’s going on.
It’s crowded but then they have a lot of stuff too!

The people that work here are always incredibly helpful. If they don’t have expert advice for your question, they will find someone who does, or at least let you know you should double check. I always find what I need and never have a problem getting in and out quickly.
