I took my child to see this doctor and we waited over an hour to be seen. The receptionist did not let us know that the doctor was running behind, until we went to ask how much longer. They told us they were waiting on a room and it shouldn’t be too much longer, thirty minutes later we were called back. Once in the room, we waited another twenty minutes to see doctor after nurse was done with us. The doctor did not apologize for the wait. The doctor seemed knowledgeable but our child had had it after waiting that long and so had we! I wouldn’t recommend going back as we didn’t due to having to wait that long and then not even getting an apology.

I started seeing Dr. Paluvoi in 2007 after being referred by my dermatologist for a sudden onset of severe allergic reactions to 90% of the environment and food with unknown causes. Dr. Paluvoi is extremely knowledgeable and thorough in getting to the bottom of what is causing reactions. He is an allergist-immunologist and is always reading the most recent medical journals for the best care. If it wasn’t for Dr Paluvoi, I would not have been properly diagnosed with an autoimmune disease brought on by a sensitivity to gluten. Dr. Paluvoi provided the utmost care during the entire process of diagnosis and subsequent treatment plan. He was willing to try new methods to help me achieve relief. Within 18 months I was much less symptomatic. 6 years later I am a new person. I feel in many ways he saved my life. He has three offices: Falls Church, Gainesville and Lansdowne. I found the staff in each to be very kind and friendly, especially his nurses Kandee and Karen who show true concern and call periodically to see how you’re doing. His offices are very kid-friendly as well, with televised cartoon movies and small play areas. If you have allergy or immunology issues, Dr. Paluvoi is among the area’s best.
