I really wanted to give a great review but just can’t. Akram was recommended and he was so happy to tell me how great he was he neglected to do the fantastic job he promised. He’s very sold on how he’s so sought after that he got to be to much. Also mentioned how he’s the number 2 in generating revenue in his company then he told me the hair dryer he was using was also for sale. Hummmm.
Definitely not worth the $ and the ego is too much!

The salon itself is cute, and clean! I went in pretty late as a walk-​in and Akram still was willing to help me out (and stayed after close time)! I told him what I wanted, and my ultimate hair desires!!! Akram was spot on! I love the cut, and the highlights! So happy with my hair!!!

As an update, shortly after my previous review, I was contacted by Salon Cielo’s manager, Toni, to apologize for my dissatisfaction with my recent visit, and was offered to have my hair color corrected. She sent me a very friendly message simply stating that they would like to be able to ensure that I was satisfied.
We arranged for a second appointment with Akrim. When I arrived, Akrim and I sat down to discuss what I liked and didn’t like about my previous appointment. Akrim explained in laymen’s terms why my hair turned out orangish, and an easy way to fix it. Akrim was able to wash out the glaze that had made my hair the color that it was, which absolutely brightened up Adina’s original highlights. Akrim also cut my hair and finished up by curling it before I headed out.
Toni and Akrim were absolutely able to change my opinion of the stylists that work at Salon Cielo. It’s obvious by the reviews on Unilocal (and other websites), that there are multiple stylists that have earned the respect of lifelong clients. My opinion that their prices prices seem a bit unreasonable has not changed, however I can respect a company that works hard to retain their customers, even if it means saying «I’m sorry, let’s try this again.»

I went through 3 other stylists before finding Jasmine and have been with her for years now. She has been great at working with me over the years to accomplish my latest hair whims — ranging from red to blonde to everything in between. She has done my up-​dos for parties and even my wedding-​day hair. I highly recommend her especially to any with curly hair (she gives great cuts)!

I moved here a year ago from Kansas City and was terrified to have anyone new doing my hair. My first visit with Jasmine went amazing and I’m happy to say I’m still an awesome blonde! I’ve been with her over a year now and have referred three other people to her because I’ve been so satisfied. Don’t mess up book with Jasmine! (Oh and for the fellas she’s pretty easy on the eyes so that always helps)

I’ve been following Monica where ever she goes for over 10 years. Salon Cielo and Monica are so amazing!!!

Monica is hands down one the best stylists I’ve worked with. I came in with color that I wasn’t too fond of and she fixed it for me. Every time I come in she does a beautiful job with my color and cut. She is also easy to talk to and just a great person. I used to drive an hour just to see her. I have since moved and am driving fours to have her work her magic. I won’t trust anyone else!!!

Got my hair cut here a couple times. Last appt they were understaffed and had to wait for quite a while. Manager gave me a little gift for the inconvenience

She has the experience, the honesty, and the artistry to make you look your best.

Love Mary and have sent many friends here and they’ve loved other hair dressers. Mary does an awesome job with my cut and color — I always leave feeling beautiful!

This place has excellent service. Gabby is my hair stylish for my roommate and I. But Nicole is also just as good. Would recommend. Everyone there though knows what they are doing. It’s super clean, everyone’s super helpful. I also like that they massage your head while washing your hair. It’s a little pricey but it’s well worth it I promise.

Had my first visit here today with Akram on a recommendation from a friend, and I could not be happier! The salon itself is really nice and very clean. I am so happy with my haircut. Akram did a great job and is super nice. I will definitely be coming back to this salon.

I came here after my former stylist went on maternity leave on recommendation from a friend of mine and never looked back. I have been getting my hair done by Nicole for a few years now. She is AMAZING and I always get compliments when I go out after seeing her. My hair is wavy and I keep it longish for a guy, so it’s not the easiest to cut and style. Plan ahead for an appointment with her because she gets booked out about a month in advanced.

Maria is the best hair stylist I’ve seen. The most valuable thing to have in anyone who cuts your hair is trust, and Maria has not only gained my trust by demonstrating excellent listening skills, but also with the talent she has behind her inviting personality.
I used to travel all the way from Arlington where I used to live to see her regularly. I still have to travel to see her from Vienna and the distance is worth the outcome. I have considered going to cheaper and more convenient options before, but nothing compares to the value I get here.
If you haven’t already, Salon Cielo is a must try no matter where you’re located. I am a guy, but the fact that this is a salon probably means that her skills are just as good if not better when it comes to women’s hair.
I am sure any of the hairdressers are excellent, but in case you are confused by choice, ask for Maria.

The salon itself is pretty normal, nothing spectacular. The prices seem fair in comparison to what is around here.
Nicole has been my stylist for 5-​years at this location and she really knows her stuff. I trust her completely with my hair style, color and treatments. If she ever left here I would follow her!

Monica is amazing! I show her some pictures of what I like and let her take it from there. I completely trust her and she’s never let me down. In fact, she’s the only hair dresser any female in my family will use!

I am a long time customer of Mary Swift who is now at Salon Cielo. She is an amazing stylist who always sends me out the door with a new look or a tweaked version of what I had!
She’s always there to give you that extra attention and listens and reccomends styles and the best products to suite your new look, wrether it be a new color, cut or hi– lights, she does it all with Pizzaz!
An appointment is highly reccomended, this woman is in demand! :-)
The salon has a new manager, receptionist & styling staff, so give them a try today, you won’t be sorry!

Not sure what’s going on here, but there used to be a few more reviews of the place (and not so good ones, either). They’ve been mysteriously removed. I don’t go here anymore. Too expensive. Pouty service from the «gatekeeper» receptionist and some of the staff. Chris is good for a cut and color, but break out the plastic. Take this what it’s worth. Not trying to be a Debbie-​downer, just honest.
