This is one of my go 2’s when I want take out. I order almost every week it’s so good. The staff is friendly and very kind. I usually order the Steak and Brisket lg phở and the Shrimp lg phở. I love love love the spices they use in their phở! My fiancé and I also get the chicken fried rice thai spicy(the spiciest) and the crab fried rice spicy. If you like spicy, you need to try it. Red pepper flakes and thai chili’s come in the thai spicy. I always look forward to the phở because it fills you up and the price’s here are right on. Seriously, this is a must try restaurant!

Decided to try here tonight since we were in the area. There were only 2 tables with people when we got here, they have a good amount of seating inside and outside. We sat outside. There are so many options in their menu that it was a bit overwhelming and exciting. I ordered phở with meatballs for my kids. My husband and I ordered 3 dishes to try. We first ordered the baby clams appetizer but they said they don’t have it today so we got banh xeo, canh chua tom, and caramelized fish in clay pot. Everything was good but we were pretty bummed because we really wanted to try their baby clams wth cracker app. Their price is definitely up there but that’s how it usually is when there’s a variety of items like that at a Vietnamese restaurant. The service was good and the restaurant started getting just a little bit busier while we were there.

I eat Vietnamese all the time and being new to Lansdowne I was glad to see a restaurant in the town center near by. They food is very good and service was very quick. I look forward to eating here again.

Best phở in the area. Trust me! I’ve tried them all. Basil fried shrimp is also really tasty.

Don’t go here because the food is horrible! Service is bad and the smell of the seafood is terrible

If you are looking for great phở this place is the best and for a great price as well. I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while but they’re service is quick and great and food is beyond amazing. If you are a phở fan just like myself I recommend this place. It’s the bbbeeeessstttt

I had the lunch size chicken stir fry for lunch. The vegetables were were large, fresh and flavorful. The chicken was well cooked, and didn’t taste rubbery at all, something a lot of places have difficulty with. I also had a tasty spring roll which I could find nothing to complain about. This was my first time here, and I can say I will definitely be coming back.

This kind of restaurant is what I want Western friends who think Vietnam only has Phở noodle. Our cuisine has much more than that. Viet Chopsticks serves many kind of unique and traditional Vietnamese foods. I would suggest to try all the menu. Very authentic tastes and flavors, even the drink. The salty lemonade made me homesick.

The best viet food in the Loudoun County area. My family and I enjoy coming to Viet Chopsticks whenever we are craving some decent viet food but are too lazy to drive down to Eden or make it ourselves. The variety of menu items add to our list of pros for the restaurant, along with the friendly staff and quick service. I’ve personally tried a good amount of the menu items. From phở tai to bun(or vermicelli noodles), I usually enjoy what I order. My usual dish would probably be the grilled pork with egg rolls on top of the vermicelli noodles. It’s a refreshing and flavorful dish that is very filling. I never seem to finish it because it comes with so much food. I also enjoy the clay pot rice bowl. The dish comes with a variety of veggies, a quail egg, and your choice of meat. Other family favorites include the caramelized fish, canh chua(a soup), and the shaky beef. I’d recommend Viet Chopsticks to anyone in the area who is craving a quick viet bite for a decent price.

Went here for lunch and ordered the Hanoi Style pork. I was surprised to find out that some of the pork was raw. Upon seeing it I immediately sent it back and left. Good taste to most of the meal, but can’t deal with raw pork.

This is one of the better options for Vietnamese food in this area. Don’t be deceived. They may not look packed but they do a lot of takeout orders as well. Also disclaimer, I am Vietnamese, growing up in a traditional Vietnamese household, so my review may be slightly more critical. The owner and staff are very friendly. It’s a bit pricier than other places but that is the orice you pay for doing business in Ashburn(aka CAshburn). I think the vermicelli and rice dishes are the better dishes. Phở is OK. The broth isn’t as fragrant or flavorful as other restaurants, but then again there is no «phở» in the restaurant name so won’t hold them to it. Fresh rolls are good. The dipping sauce is a tad too runny and not much flavor. If I had one other feedback, for takeout orders, please double check your order. On more than one occasion they have forgotten the white rice :(. Otherwise, I recommend Viet Chopsticks :)

Wonderful restaurant type of phở place. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant. However I had two things to address. 1) bathrooms didn’t have baby changing table. I think this day in age, all restaurants should have one. I had to change my baby on the floor. Which is totally gross but had to be done. 2) portion is really small and very few meat in the soup. I was disappointed. 3) direction will say it’s across the street from panera bread, but it’s actually close to the animal hospital.

*3.5 Stars* Stopped by on a Saturday night with my sisters and friends for dinner. There weren’t many other people, but our service wasn’t that much better. The server hung out at he bar or was nowhere to be seen, and only checked on us once or twice the whole meal. The food was better than the service, thank goodness. I tried a little bit of my sister’s phở: the noodles weren’t soggy and the broth had a clean taste. I ordered the Summer Rolls, Thai Iced Tea, and the Grilled Pork and Crispy Spring Roll on Vermicelli noodles. Summer Rolls: Clear soft shell with white noodles, lettuce and a big piece of shrimp. The peanut dipping sauce that came with it could’ve been better. I like it a little more peanut-y, but it wasn’t terrible. You definitely can’t eat the rolls plain; the sauce is a necessity. Thai Iced Tea: It was my first time trying so I don’t know what it was suppose to taste like, but I loved it! It was creamy, and sweet, but a tea… without tasting like tea?.. It’s hard to explain, but I loved the taste. That’s all I need to say. Grilled Pork and Crispy Spring Roll on Vermicelli noodles: It comes in a giant bowl with the noodles, grilled pork, a crispy spring roll on top and vegetables all laid out. On the side, you get a fish sauce kind of thing that you pour over everything. I highly recommend trying a little first before you pour it all in, just in case. I do feel like the grilled pork was weird. I’ve never seen the pork look so flat before. The taste was fine, but the pork was weird looking. I would probably go back again if I were in the area and craving some phở.

This place saved me from the National Conference Center and its mediocre food. Hint: If you are stuck, you can call in for delivery without a charge. You just have to order 20.00 worth of food. Believe me, after 2 weeks I tore it all up. The food was super fresh, and they do give you generous portions if you show up to the restaurant. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is super clean. Love this place. Thank you guys for delivering. I would have suffered even more if you were not nearby.

I’ve eaten at Viet Chopsticks on multiple occasions and I’ve concluded that their phở is average. I never ordered any of their rice dishes, so I can’t comment on those although my friends have mentioned that they’re pretty tasty. I do like that they offer a variety of Vietnamese dishes though! Pretty extensive menu rather than the typical phở/bun options. The phở broth is pretty bland. I usually have to add hoisin and sriracha, which is a big no-no. I normally order phở tai chin and they definitely don’t skimp you on the meat here, which is a plus! Café sua da is way too sweet, so I’d suggest requesting a little less condensed milk. Service is normally good. The place is cuter and cleaner than most Viet places. During my last visit though, my friends and I experienced such an odd encounter. The owner approached a friend of mines asking to speak with him after we were done eating. He didn’t think much of it since he lives in Lansdowne and frequents the place almost on a weekly basis. Well, she accused him of not paying for his meal the week before although they had it down that he left a $ 4.00 tip? So… he left a tip, but didn’t pay for the meal. That makes total sense? Anyways, it was a false accusation and left a bad taste in our mouths. I’ll probably avoid this place now due to the incident and them serving just average phở.

I think it’s safe to assume that once this restaurant opened, all Viet-food lovers and Viets alike were excited to try this place out and were not disappointed when they did! Viet Chopsticks has proven to be one of better options for Viet food in the Loudoun County area. My family and I frequent this restaurant a lot! So I have tried a lot of the dishes on their menu. My favorite go-to is the bun thit nhuong(vermicelli with grilled pork) and the muc rang moi(salted and pepper squid) which also comes with a side of rice. Both dishes are flavorful, fresh, and delicious! I like that fact that the portions are pretty generous and plenty of meat and ingredients are given. I’ve also tried the lunch special here a couple of times and it’s a really good deal! From Monday-Friday 11a-3p you can choose from a limited menu and also get a side of spring roll or summer roll and a drink. Unlike most lunch specials at other restaurants, the portions are still generous here! I have yet to try to phở here, but I will one day because I’ve heard so many good things about it! If you’re looking for a Vietnamese restaurant in the area, definitely come here.

Ok, granted, so far I’ve only tried the Phở and summer roll. I will update later when I DEFINITELY go back to sit down, relax, and dive into their extensive and amazing sounding Vietnamese food options. The Phở: I drove over here around 9:30 one weekday evening in my quest for phở after my evening workout in Leesburg. I saw«Viet», and good Unilocal ratings, and 2 miles away, so I thought cool, let’s do this. Then I read deeper as I stood outside and realized the reviews were mostly not about phở, but about the food. I pressed on, ordered takeout soup, and read the menu while I waited(more below). Got home, moderate expectations, and dove into the reheated soup while watching Anthony Bourdain in Thailand(don’t you just love watching his adventures while eating amazing food yourself?). SOOOoooo good. Really, this is a quite credible bowl of phở, enough so that without reservations(lol) I give this place 5 stars on that alone. Great new soup option on my way home from the gym. The Summer Roll: This was top notch, you have to realize the flavors here are always a subtlety, but here they really did deliver, and I thought the dipping sauce was the best I’ve had in recent memory at other nearby establishments. The Menu: I didn’t get to read it thoroughly, because they were so speedy with my phở that it showed up bagged and ready to go in about 3 minutes. But, in a word, wow. I have not seen a menu like this outside of Eden Center. But I think most of these dishes need to be eaten freshlyl prepared, it would just be wrong to do takeout and lose all the edge. So, I can’t wait to have time and company to do a sit-down meal and dive into this menu. It looks promising – things I remember are shaky beef and clay pot dishes…

I ordered a combination phở lunch combo which came with either an egg roll or a spring roll. The spring roll as good but the hoison dipping sauce was really thin and watered down. Needed more hoison and more peanut butter. The phở broth was decent but needed more anise and more fish sauce. Meat was delicious though. Overall pretty decent.

As a frequent customer, I can say that Viet Chopstick does not disappoint! I am a lover of phở. Nothing is better than a gigantic bowl of warm savory broth accompanied with tender meat and tangles of noodles, customized with my own blend of bean sprouts, jalapeño, basil, and lime. I sip away at the broth until I’m left with a big bowl of noodles and chicken. I add some Siracha and hoisin sauce, get my chopsticks ready, and dig in. It’s not pretty, but goodness is it good! When a craving hits Viet Chopstick is my go-to lunch spot. I usually order the #1 lunch special — a regular size bowl of phở, a spring roll or summer roll, and a soda. Sometimes I order the large bowl, even though the regular is perfectly filling. Once, the waitress even expressed her surprise that I finished the whole large bowl — it was no easy task! The spring roll and summer roll are both flavorful and delicious. The lunch specials are all around ten dollars, which is more than I usually pay for lunch, but this place is totally worth it. However, I can only advocate the phở lunch specials. While I would love to try other food on the menu(it always looks great), I only end up order phở here! Aside from the food, the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. It is clean, casual, and surprisingly spacious. The servers have always been very friendly and attentive. The food is ready quickly, which makes this a great option for a work-day lunch break. Overall, this is a great spot for phở. I hope others enjoy Viet Chopstick as much as I have!
