Food was just ok. Nothing extraordinary to write about. Portions are small and everything seems to be extra costs.

Excellent staff, plenty of parking, and the Phở was good. Grilled chicken was moist and full of flavor. Very tiny egg rolls I’ve have better Phở broth but this place is good!

We had shrimp roll and appetizer, it was served with three of rolls and a hot sauce on the side. It could have little less oily and hot, I could enjoy it. But unfortunately it was served under room temperature. I had beef and rice as my main dish. Thinly sliced grilled beef was very delicious. I would go back for that dish any day!!! My friend had vermicelli phở with fried tofu, only complain is it was served cold, I guess we forgot to ask and the server forgot to mention the way it would serve. Overall great food and service.

My husband and I had lunch here on Friday. He has never had Vietnamese food. We ordered the fried spring rolls which were very good and the chicken wings which were very dry. My husband ordered the steak cubes and they were delicious! I was pretty impressed. I ordered the build your own phở with flank and fatty brisket. The broth was bland, I had to add tons of sriracha and jalapenos. I was very disappointed in the phở. Most of the staff was very nice. It did take a long time for any of our food to come out. We were given water but never asked if we wanted any other beverages. I am undecided if I will try it again… I was just so disappointed in the phở.

We eat here often and love the whole staff and unlike most Phở places, there is very little grease in the broth. Try the summer rolls! Best around.

Fresh and soft chewy noodle. Delicious indeed. Quality porceline bowls used. Too bad they dont have one near falls church areas.

Service is horrible. Didn’t get enough napkins during the time eating the hot phở. The Thai tea is like drinking straight sugar. Drank all the water that was provided cause of the super sweet tea and they couldn’t refill it without asking. During the time of ordering the waitress took the order quickly and walked away without asking what we wanted to drink. Never ever come here to phở bistro again. Taking my business elsewhere.

Bad phở and vermicelli. Phở had a lot less meat. Broth had no flavor at all. Vermicelli noodle was served hot. Egg roll were in the noodle was half size of other phở restaurants. Less vegetables in overall but overpriced for what you get. Will not come here in the future.

Great value, and the staff are wonderful! A top choice whenever we come to Ashburn from DC. Rivals some of the best phở my fiancé and I have had.

Even I walked in the door 23 minutes before closing I was still greeted with a friendly smile and say quickly. Given a large booth even though I was all alone which was a refreshing change for a single business diner! Ordered create your own phở with lean brisket and fried vegetarian rolls and was out the door with a happy belly and great experience before 9. Love stopping here every time I come to this area. My phở fix spot!

Good phở but service sub-par. The phở was flavorful, hot and filling, served within 5 minutes of our order and came in a huge bowl with a side of bean sprouts, fresh basil leaves, jalapeños and lime wedges. Sriracha and another thai sauce also added to the flavor. Great for a cold day like today! However service left something to be desired– no one stopped to see if anything was needed– I had to call a waiter to get a fork and a napkin. They also took away my bowl without asking if I was done– which felt kind of rude. They are pretty busy during lunch, which might explain the shortfall in service quality. Also I assume they think everyone uses chopsticks.

Sorry to say the broth was probably was the most flavorless I’ve ever had. The spring rolls were gummy and full of just noodles.

Phở Saigon. Great for takeout on a cold night. Ready in 10 minutes. Be careful with the jalapeños, they’re so fresh they really add some heat!

The phở here is not good. The broth tastes like old, stale water that has been microwaved for 3 minutes. The quality of the meat is disappointing and the noodles are average. On the plus side, the service is good.

This phở place was fairly average. I can’t claim to be a phở expert, but I have had better. It didn’t seem as flavorful as other phở places I’ve been to — this soup required doctoring up. The service was excellent though. The wait staff was prompt, and the manager/owner(I’m not sure) even pulled off the straw wrapper in front of me and put it in my glass, which made me wonder if he knew I was a Unilocaler… I’ve never had someone do that before except a handsome gent sitting across from me on a date.

I’ve only had phở twice in my life so maybe I’m not reliable for a fair review, but I’m leaving one anyway. I thought my phở was just fine. The last place I had last had a more flavorful broth but I enjoyed it actually. It wasn’t a wowing meal but I was craving phở and it hit the spot. My one complaint is that it smelled funny. Not like spoiled funny but the chicken made it smell like a wet cat or something… Kind of off putting. But as I said the flavor was still enjoyable. I’ll go back if I’m craving phở again but maybe stick with veggie phở.

What has happened to Phở Bistro? I used to eat here all the time when I lived in Ashburn 8 years ago because it was THE standard for Ashburn phở. Now that I’m moving back to the area, I’m trying to get reacquainted with all my fav restaurants, and of course Phở Bistro was on the top of my list. I came in on a Friday afternoon and got phở to-go. The restaurant itself wasn’t busy at all, but as for the price… well, looks like I’ll have to get used to living in Nova again. The phở is more expensive than I remembered it being(especially when compared to Ohio phở). I like meatballs in my phở, but they charged an extra $ 3 for a few pieces of meatballs, which seemed a bit excessive. But at least the portion size was excellent! My to-go bag had plenty of add ons: bean sprouts, hoisin and Sriracha sauces, green and white onions, limes, and of course cilantro. The rice noodles and meat included weren’t anything special, but what really makes a good phở is the broth. And this is what disappointed me the most. It’s very light and decent… but that’s it. Something was definitely missing. Phở Bistro’s beef broth is not as complex as it was before, especially when compared to all the neighboring phở restaurants. Now don’t get me wrong, I still thought my phở was ok. But it wasn’t as good as it used to be, and I think I may look elsewhere for my future phở cravings.

Tried since it was close by to current destination. On the fence since there were so many mixed reviews. Restaurant was empty at noon on Saturday. Server seated us and brought us water right away which is a good sign for a Vietnamese restaurant. Ordered the Goi Cuon which was bland w no flavors. Had the Phở Ga which came in a huge bowl. Noodles were cooked just right. Meat is on the sparse side. Broth is light and lacks robust flavors. Good part that your mouth doesn’t feel greasy afterwards. Strange that they didn’t put cilantro in the phở. Ok in a pinch for Ashburn but I wouldn’t go out of the way.

There’s better Phở out there, but if you live clear out in Ashburn this is a lovely little gem. Perfectly acceptable soup. Decent spring rolls. Haven’t tried the other food, just soup. Very delicious authentic smoothies, complete with sealed lid and fat straw, but inexplicably no boba pearls?! Great little place, wish they stayed open later!

Saw this place in the little strip mall off Waxpool that has Five guys and Kapao in it. We were going into Kapao one day, and saw a large group of Asians going into the Phở place, so I made a mental note to go back and try it one day; since a large group of Asians can’t be wrong! Well Phở Bistro did not disappoint. Upon entering and sitting down I took one look at the menu and recognized it. Trying to recall where I saw it befo… Centreville! That’s right, this is a new shop under the same owner of the Centreville location, aptly named, Phở Bistro. Go figure. Having been to that location once before and enjoying it, I knew I was in for a treat. Le GF ordered a bowl of Phở with all the trimmings ‘cept tripe. I ordered a Pork chop rice dish, with a side of broth and fish sauce. We also ordered a order of summer rolls with peanut dipping sauce. Well, the summer rolls came out and they were pretty standard issue summer rolls, if not leaving a little something to be desired. I would not order them again. For the price, I would of liked to see a little more substantial filling and less«mighta coulda used another minute soaking in hot water noodles». Anyhow, I forgive them on the summer rolls. I didn’t come here for those, they were just to pass the time while we waited on the main event. The Phở came out in a bowl bigger than any known human’s head. I think it was the largest Phở bowl I have made contact with. Being nice as ever, my lady let me try her soup and it was yummy. It was up there with some of the better Phở’s I’ve had. I would came here for it and order it if I were in the area… Now the pork platter. Wow. It was impressive. Three good sized, thinly sliced pork chops. They were cooked perfectly and had a kinda sweet glaze on them, you know, the way Vietnamese grilled pork is. It was soo good. The gf agreed. It also came with a side salad I was not expecting. It was good for being a side salad, I liked the dressing on it. Tasted kind of like the fish sauce nuoc mah(sp?). I also like they were able to add a side of broth to my entrée for like a dollar or so. Can’t beat that. So… my only gripes are … well, the summer roll(but we already talked about that), the fact that you cant get a fried egg on top of your rice entrees(to me, that really makes it just that much better), and that they don’t have different sized bowls of Phở. Just once insanely large size. So, a few minor gripes, and a whole lot of smiles from mah belly. I say that’s 4 stars fo’sho!
