I found this shop on Click and Clack – the Car Talk guys. The reviews said they were honest and I agree. I have brought my cars here for routine maintenance and for some bigger jobs and they always tell you what you NEED, what they recommend AND what you don’t necessarily need to do NOW.
There have been times when it would have been advantageous for them to tell me something and chose to give me an honest answer. For instance, my husband was considering trading his car for one they were selling there and they clearly wanted it, but they told him that if it were up to them, they would keep the car.
As a woman, I never felt taken advantage of or like I was entering a «boys club» like some places like this make you feel. I always felt as if I got sound advice.
