Huge store, big selection, mostly nice staff. I’ve had a few situations with the staff where I felt like it mattered more to them that they were right and/or justified by corporate policy than to please the customer, but those times were few and far between. Generally, a nice place to shop and conveniently located on the west side of town near my work.

While I will continue to shop at Kohl’s for the prices (see pro-tip, below), our experience at the Saginaw Highway store left a sour taste in our mouths. A Kohl’s employee was standing at a register, apparently not busy, so we asked her if her lane was open. She looked around and instructed us to move to a different register where a different employee was folding clothes. While we checked out, the first employee was clearly put out by attending to us (no kindness, smiles, or even small talk), and the second employee was griping about a customer leaving the clothes at the cash register for her to fold. It wasn’t necessarily that she was off base, but the result was an extremely unpleasant shopping experience. Excuse us for paying you!
Like the reviewers before me have suggested, I might try the store by the Meridian Mall next time.
(Pro-tip: you should never pay full price for anything at Kohl’s — there are always sales and coupons.)

I agree with one reviewer here. It’s unorganized and is so off-putting. I too like the one by Meridian Mall much more too. What happened here?! Shopping isn’t as fun when you come to this one. Here’s some advice, organize the stores all in the same way! Women are your most profitable customers, and we tend to turn right in a store, away from the cash. Just my 2 cents. Meridian had it right. I dont go to this one so much. Just feels like work.

A Kohl’s is a Kohl’s– right? Well, sort of.
I like Kohls, I’ve been to quite a few, and this one used to be pretty good. The store was clean, well stocked, and you could find a staff member for help if necessary. This is not the case any more.
As the economy slowed down this Kohls has really deteriorated. The store is poorly stocked, very disorganized, and it’s really hard to find staff to help you locate an item in the store.
Do I still go to this Kohl’s– yes. But much less frequently. I prefer the store by the Meridian Mall but it is out of the way.
