I’m giving 1 star not because I dislike Meijer. I love Meijer and have been shopping there since I was a child. But EVERYTIME I have to use the bathrooms here I cringe. They are ALWAYS dirty. There is always pee/water issue on the floor especially in the handicapped stall. On top of that today the floor was extremely littered with shredded toilet paper and toilet seat covers. Don’t you ever clean your bathrooms? Seriously I am not exaggerating… it is disgusting. If this issue doesn’t get fixed I will make it my mission to give this store a scrappy rating every chance I get. Not trying to be a jerk I would just like to not be disgusted.

How can you not love meijer? It truly is the«one stop shop.» Meijer has everything but the kitchen sink. From groceries to toys to paint to clothes to shoes to the pharmacy they have it all. Also make sure you sign up for MeijerPerks. When you sign up you«clip» your coupons digitally. Also you get rewards for baby products and refilling your prescriptions.

Great Meijer in terms of price and selection. The service here is severely lacking. Nobody that works here seems to know where anything is or whether they carry specific items. If you can’t find an item by yourself, you’re out of luck.

a supermarket on crack. kind of has the feel of a costco or bj’s except not as cheap. they’ve got everything you’d find in a regular supermarket plus things you’d find at a deli, bedbath&beyond, target, walmart, etc. it even has its own gas station. crazy.

Is it possible to be in love with a grocery store? Because I think I fell in love with Meijer the first time I stepped inside. Similar to Iris S., I moved out of town to a state that does not have any Meijer stores. I truly went through withdrawal. I felt like I had gotten a divorce from my one true love. Meijer has been there for me through all of the tough times. He supplied me with tissue when my high school crushes broke my heart. He fed me when no other restaurant would do. He was there for me when I bought my first small appliance. He saw me off to college with all the things that I would ever need. Meijer you have it all. The total package! Now that I’m gone. I really miss him. Meijer, do you remember me? I’ll come back and see you when I’m in Michigan again.

Say what you will, but if you finally move to a state that doesn’t have Meijer, you will surely miss it. Living in Minneapolis for the last 3 years has made me long for my fall-out-the-door-at-any-hour-of-the-day, one-stop superstore. Even with the Target headquarters, no SuperTarget can compare in variety and price to Meijer. I cannot honestly think of any generic day-to-day item that Meijer does not carry. And, U-Scan, don’t even get me started. *sigh*
