I have always liked Penn station. we placed an order for subs and fries. Wait and waited for our order. People who order after were receiving there sandwiches. When I asked about our order the person got defensive. Also what really turned my stomach was the fact they were making sandwiches, handling money then going back to making sandwiches. Totally gross and unsanitary

Its a really great place to eat the food is really good. The staff is very friendly and nice. I would recommend stopping in and grabbing a sub you will be happy you did.

I don’t like chains but I love these hoagies. And the fries with vinegar. If you want to indulge on calories on this type of food this is the place to do it!

i first became addicted to penn station in cincinnati and i was so happy that they have them here too. this is a really fucking good sandwich. they make everything fresh for you, including their amazing hand cut fries, and it is authentic and tasty as hell. service is always super friendly. it’s not as cheap as other fast food options but i honestly don’t even consider it fast food because they literally make everything right in front of you to order.

Foods good. One day though they lost my order some how 3 people that came in after me recived there food before me all I orderd was a sub I wasent In A hurry but it was pretty disappointing.

DELISH fries and cheesesteaks. Definitely recommend pizza sauce on the philly. Great service majority of the time, the food is always great.

First time here and I will be back. Great bread, good proteins and a good menu. Prices are very good and taste is excellent.
I had the Philly cheesesteak which was awesome! Meat was great, onions, mushrooms and cheese was perfect.
Wife had the Italian sub, she loved it.
Fries are good as we’ll.

Ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and while I was hanging out waiting for my order near the cash register, I noticed the checkout dude/​fresh toppings adder not wearing gloves. Even worse, he paused in his topping work to ring up a customer (not me thank god), and DISGUSTINGLY go right back to adding fresh toppings! EWWWW! This is a HEALTH CODE VIOLATION! And I’m calling the Health Department. There’s no sink in the food prep area, so hands are not washed after handling the cash register/​money (which we all know know is filthy). I was just glad my sandwich had no fresh toppings, and was all grilled up with no fresh toppings. Can believe it, they have a great philly cheese & fries, but I won’t be eating there again til the health department schools them big time.

Will it change your life? Not a chance. But is it a well above-​average fast (ish) food lunch option that you will enjoy thoroughly? You betcha.
Cheese-​steaks are their signature sandwich but I love the artichoke sandwich (add mushrooms and peppers!) as a less-​over-​the-​top option. And of course the fries are great — fresh cut and fried nearly to order. 6 inch sandwich with fries should be enough for most folks and keeps the calories somewhat within check.
One of the few fast food chains at which I voluntarily eat.

Seriously, one of the best meals of my life. I ordered the teriyaki chicken sub with mushrooms and onions. Fries were great, too.

The food is very good! It is arguably the best Philly cheesesteak in Lansing area. I would recommend getting your philly with mushroom, sauteed onions, yellow peppers, and mayo. The staff could be friendlier. It is usually busy during lunchtime. You should go there for dinner if you want something quick and delicious. There is a TV so you can enjoy watching your baseball game while devouring a cheesesteak.

I have had friends recommending this place to me for a while, and for good reasons! My boyfriend and I decided to try the Philly Cheese 12in because it was the most prominent looking item on the menu (maybe what they are known for?) They accommodated our modification well (banana peppers on ½) and the boy that took our order was very courteous and kind of walked us through everything. We decided to skip on the fries, but after seeing that they were fresh cut we will probably add them next time. The other young guy that rang us up was really cool, and even let us try the lemonade for free! Way to sell it ;) Our food came out within 7 minutes and was freaking delicious-​the 12in was the perfect size to split as well. Definitely the best Philly I have had around here (it is messy though!!). Overall the food was great enough to make us come back, but the service and environment was what really hooked us. Everyone seemed to have a genuine smile on their face, really seemed to enjoy their job and enjoy working together, and that makes such a difference! (We even went on a Monday. who likes Mondays!?) We liked the experience so much we even talked to the manager and we hardly ever do that. It’s rare you find something so awesome in a fast casual franchise, but they nailed it.

Been there two times. First time had a club that was delicious, especially the bread… best bread roll in Lansing. Service was S L O W. Second time had a cheese steak and was not impressed. Ordered extra meat and still got jipped on the meat. I ordered it with all their recommended condiments — BIG mistake. Mustard and pizza sauce do not go together and made the sandwich a sloppy mess. Again service was S L O W. So far I rate it as average and will try it one more time to make my final decision on this place. If you go, better schedule at least 15 minutes for a take out order unless you call ahead.

Good food! I had the philly cheese steak, very yummy. Fries are freshly cut and made. Most are crispy the way I like it. Fresh squeezed lemonade. Very greasy though. So if you don’t mind heavy greasy food, then this is the place to go.

There is a different scene in here around dinner time compared to the lunch rush.
My sub and lemon-​aid did not taste the same as they did during my last visit… the lemon-​aid previously was very sour… watered-​down this time… cheese-​steak was good but it was not how I remembered.
Am I being a hair-​splitting douche… maybe, but consistency is important to me as a consumer.
I will return, and would recommend this place to people because the bread is bonkers good, and last night may have been a fluke.

Tasty and affordable (I had the Philly cheese steak and my wife had the Italian, plus French fries). Nice atmosphere. Great menu. Will be returning soon. Easy to find location (southwest corner of East Saginaw at Clippert) by Frandor.
