I love the freshness and quality food Panera consistently provides. This location is great because there are so many other great businesses around. I love this location for meetings and getting work down. Very friendly service and lots of room and tables to choose from. Great food as always and very clean.

Panera is very consistent, which I like. Everyone here is very nice. Sandwich fillings are rather stingy here… an $ 8 sandwich with maybe two tablespoons of filling… um no. They were very nice about correcting that though.

I’ve been here several times before. The food is typically good — over priced a bit, but much better alternative to «fast food». Before today, I would have reviewed with 4 stars. Today, they were a bit busy(nothing insane) and the staff — ESPECIALLY the manager — was extremely stressed. The manager was the person who took my order, and his customer service skills were absolutely nonexistent. I asked for something that is no longer on the menu(hasn’t been for a year) and the staff is always able to make it. He made sure I knew it wasn’t on the menu and that he’d have to make a huge accommodation for me(… It’s literally 1 addition to a sandwich) and that I must be mistaken with what I ordered before when it was off the menu. It was the most irritating experience I’ve had at a Panera. Customer service comes first, Mr Manager. Teaching your staff how to handle(light) stress is in your hands.

Sometimes the staff is not great, and food is super expensive. I wish soups were ready all the time. Even with that said I love the food! So I don’t stop going. Orange scones, Greek salad, lemon chicken orzo soup. Chicken and wild rice soup, Asiago cheese bagels, and vegetable pesto are my favorites.

I love all Paneras… this one is great because it sits right amongst several stores that I frequent… like World Market, Kroger and many others. Like all of their locations… the service and environment is great. The place is always hopping! I always end up buying bread here… always Sourdough, Ciabatta or Asiago. Their pastries are very good looking but I’m already feeling guilty about the bread… lol. I am a lifetime fan of Panera.

Fresh food and dependable. I’ve been to many of their restaurants and the food is the same so you always know what you are getting. Fresh and healthy options. It’s a good place to meet for business meetings as there is no loud music playing. Not great coffee drinks. I think they should add more beverages to their menu.

All Paneras are pretty much created equal, but one thing I’ve learned is that you MUST check your order before you leave(if you get take-out, that is). Instead of the yummy smokehouse turkey panini my friend ordered, he got a plain turkey sandwich. And we got shorted on the sides — missing potato chips. Of course the receipt was accurate and we paid for things we didn’t get, somebody just screwed up. This seems to happen a lot at Panera with big orders. The food we DID get was pretty tasty as always — I especially love the broccoli cheddar soup. They have more fun options than ever now, and the You Pick Two is always a good deal(got a Greek Salad with Chicken alongside the soup, which was pretty good). I think the soups are almost always better than the salads here, just personal opinion.

Disappointed in this Panera. Usually I love panera, but today it was a mess. I ordered a you pick two with a sandwich and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese looked like it was sitting out for an hour and it was cold. My sandwich was put together sloppy and the dressing was all over the plate. The ladies behind me that got their food 10 minutes before me complained that their soup was messy all over their plate too. My boyfriends bread bowl was stale and the soup was not warm eithe. He didn’t want to say anything so ate it. I asked if they could heat my cold mac and cheese but the guy said they can’t do that, but I can microwave it myself. Otherwise he would have to go make me a new one(and he sounded annoyed) so I went and heated it. They charged me for the full meal, but gave me the you pick two size. I do not plan on returning to this location — the other ones are way better :(

As far as I can tell, all Panera’s have the same pretty decent food. Pretty much all around decent food for a bakery chain type place. I like their egg souffles. Bagels and such are reasonable. Soup and sandwiches are hit or miss. Good fresh baked bread. As a student looking for a place to study Pros: –really a bunch of tables –free drink refills –free wifi Cons: –at times it is super BUSY –not as many outlets as one would like –it can be pretty loud at times –while the wifi is free, during busy times Panera may limit you to a half hour For an OK place to study and predictable food, I would give this Panera 3 stars. However, on more than one occasion I have seen the staff be very kind to people who seem to be less fortunate or in some way vulnerable. I have observed the staff to know the names of folks who are only there for water and a place to sit down. In one case I saw a seemingly developmentally disabled adult drawing pictures for various staff members, who graciously accepted them. They do a good job hiring people here who have a high level of human decency.

A favorite of mine and a must have for the wife. Great rotating selection of soups and salads. Creative menu options and combinations, «you pick 2» is the best. Turkey bacon bravo is the king of sandwiches. Tomato basil bread, fresh sliced turkey, spiced mayo, and smoked Gouda cheese. Add some cheese broccoli soup and you have an award winning pair. Always consistent service no matter which location you visit. One last thing to add… My wife also worked at Panera for a year and still loves eating there. How often do you see employees(present/past) that eat where they work?

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a Friday. It was crowded but they quickly took our to go order. Then we waited and waited. Took us 25 min to get in and out with a to go order for 2 people. I have been to panera a lot and often order the frontega chicken sandwich. This one tasted different and not in a good way. Even the baguette I got as my side was burned and crunchy. Seriously, how do you screw that up?! It’s usually my favorite part of the meal. Very disappointing panera experience.

Last 3 months I have eaten at this location a lot. Consistently fast service for basically made to order food(except soups) and this food is ALWAYS good. If you watch calories — all salads are good, new favoriite is Mediterranean Couscous salad with shrimp — spinach, lentils/fava beans, shrimp, romain, blk olives(order dressing on side to cut mega calories from meal). 5 – 6 soups daily to choose from and the chicken noodle in a pick/2 meal is only 80 calories. All the sandwiches look amazing and everyone eating one seems pretty happy doing so. Note — there is always a lot of people here but the line moves fast, extra seating in back. I’ve not had a problem getting a table at even the busiest of times as people are constantly coming and going. Staff is friendly and helpful. This is a must stop when in frandor area for coffee, breakfast bagels/flavored cream cheeses, lunch, dinner, a meeting, after shopping, or to answer that afternoon craving for espresso and pastries/cupcakes, etc…

This is one of the busiest Panera locations I have been to. It’s a big location, in a large strip mall real close to Michigan State University. There are many students grabbing a coffee and jumping on the free wifi. Almost every table was taken, but there was a high turnover rate too. that said, there had to be at least 40 – 50 tables at this location. The outside area is small, 4 to 5 tables, but it’s a busy mall, and the Panera is at a busy intersection, and sitting outside got noisy. Other than that, it’s a typical Panera with coffee, bagels, sweets, sandwiches, soups and salads. It’s a little more expensive than fast food burger places, but I feel like I’m getting a better quality food.

I love panera’s broccoli chedder soup and french bread on the side. I also love their egg souffles!(though i do think they are a bit pricy). However, I am not a fan of their sandwiches and salads. They recently remodeled this place and it looks great. Just wanted to mention that the service is excellent and the workers are peppy and always keeping busy(looking around, cleaning tables, trash, etc). Update 12÷1÷2013 Service is excellent and manager is super nice and friendly!

This Panera is just like every other Panera. The food is good, if a bit overpriced, and the service is fast. I really like the half sandwich and half salad deal; the fuji salad dressing is something I can’t get anywhere else but love to death. And of course their breads are amazing. I love getting an asiago bagel with cream cheese at Panera. I just wish lunch were a bit cheaper.

Solid Panera location. Met a friend here on our way back to Ohio for a quick snack and a little bs. I ordered the broccoli soup, wife got a chocolate chip bagel, and our friend ordered french onion. Everyone enjoyed the food here and were very surprised on how busy this place was. That was until I realized how close to the school it was, lots and lots of pretty girls. Great start for my morning. ;)

This is about my experience with THIS Panera location, not about Panera overall(as it seems some Unilocalers review that way…) This Panera location donated almost 100 bagels for a nonprofit breakfast. That in itself is a few stars — it’s tough to find businesses in college towns that are going to donate to non-university organizations. We were there at 6:15 a.m. on a Friday morning. The staff was so flippin helpful — they triple checked to see how we wanted our bagels cut and even helped us carry our food to our car. This is the first time I’ve ever seen a young staff so chipper and willing to help so early in the a.m. ESPECIALLY since it was a donation.
