This place really sucks. This is the cheapest storage place in the area, but 1.) the doors of the storage spaces are incredibly flimsy, 2.) snow drifts into the storage spaces in the winter, 3.) they do not offer climate controlled units, 4.) they do not shovel in front of units and usually plow snow up to the unit doors, 5.) if there happened to be very heavy rains, the blacktop outside of the units is poorly drained and could possibly flood some of the units, 6.) they only have cameras pointed at the front office of the location, cameras are not pointed at any of the units even though it wouldnt take much to install that type of monitoring system. Public Storage does offer insurance, I have not had to use it so I am not sure how well it covers each unit. Also, they will give you a call if you are about to miss your payment deadline. My suggestion would be to pay $ 15-$ 20 more each month to have a much more secure, and climate protected storage space for your belongings.

My stuff got stolen. Lock cut, tons of stuff taken. Can’t imagine it was just me. I totally understand that the storage place is not liable for cut locks and stuff, but this just doesn’t seem right. There should be cameras and someone monitoring during business hours, and locked during off hours. But they just threw their hands in the air and said sorry. I wish I knew if it happened to others near us. I assume several people got their locks cut.
