Redline Auto Service

For the last two and a half years, I had a love-​hate relationship with my 2010 Audi A4. I loved how it drives, I hated how much it cost to maintain.
After spending too much at the local Audi dealer, I turned to the guys at Redline for maintenance and repair work, including oil changes, scheduled maintenance, new brakes and rotors, headlights, and new wheel bearings. Nick (the service manager) is very friendly, honest and helpful. The repair work was SIGNIFICANTLY less than at the local Audi dealer I had used. (Case in point: $ 40 for a lightbulb at Redline, $ 140 at Williams Audi).
Nick also offered good advice on what maintenance needs to be performed, what doesn’t need to be done, and what I should do to maintain my car in the future.
The only downsides are that it’s sometimes tough to get an appointment right away and scheduled maintenance costs about the same as the dealer. Also, there’s not a shuttle service like you might find at a dealer.
Otherwise, Redline is great, and I definitely trust them with my car.

I picked Redline because they specialize in German Automobiles. My GTI’s A/​C was Kaput and the dealer wanted $ 3200 to replace it. Nick at Redline replaced my
A/​C, diagnosed and replaced a bad (and very dangerous) wheel bearing, changed my oil, and investigated a transmission glitch for $ 2100.
My only complaint is, it took a couple of weeks to get my car in, but once there, it was in and out in a day (as promised). They are busy, because they are good.
I will be bringing my GTI (Der Elderspook) there from now on.

I’d been getting my VW Passat wagon serviced at another shop in town. They always did great work, but seemed expensive. When I needed my timing belt changed and got a quote of $ 1,700, I decided to shop around and found Redline on a Google search. The review were good and when I went in and got a quote for much less, I went with them. I was in the following week, they did the job for the price they quoted, and my car runs great. Nick was a pleasure to deal with and I’ll be taking my car here from now on. An added bonus — they have the best ball-​catching dog in town, Chance, who will be happy to test your arm as long as you want to throw the ball to him :)

I have zero complaints about Redline… my 1^st visit was last June with a broken A/C…The dealer wanted to charge me $ 2200 to fix it… when I asked if they could just unhook it and I would be without A/C…they said a flat NO, that my truck wouldn’t run without it. So I brought it to Nick… asked for an estimate… he not only came in $ 400 cheaper, but he gave me the option of not fixing it and all he did was charge me a small amount to cap it off. It’s been almost a yr with NO problems.
Today was an oil change… he once again, gave me 2 options to choose from… which ever would fit my budget. He had my truck done and promised back to me right on time.
NOTE: I do recommend you calling ahead for an appointment… he’s can be pretty busy if you just drop in.
The place is nice and clean… he has great customer service skills and doesn’t talk down to a woman or think that we are just stupid since we know very little about a car.
As long as I own this 2006, I will continue to go to Redline.
