I went after seeing the good reviews on Unilocal and I’m very glad I did. Liz did a great job. She took time and care with my hair. She listened to my input and made me feel comfortable. Definitely a good place to check out.

Love this salon! I went to get toner in my hair for grown out highlights & made an appointment that same day with Liz. She is so friendly and does a great job listening to what you want done as well as offering her expertise. She evened out my hair color & helped me find products for my hair. The prices are extremely reasonable and the salon is relaxed. I will definitely be coming back!

Liz does a great job! Love going to see her. I have had her do a highlight lowlight and trim and eyebrows.

I initially went to Rubies with a Groupon to get a cut from Liz. I went back for more because Liz is the bees knees! She puts so much effort into her work. I went in with a bad, uneven hack job from another «salon» we’ll call Robrics. I left Robrics with a horribly uneven haircut and then let it grow for about a month. I bought a Groupon for Rubies and Liz hooked this mama up! She fixed the problem without losing any length. I went back the next week to get my hair bleached. There was a lot of diy things I did myself that needed fixing like old color turned green when I put bleach on top of it. I also had uneven bleach color. She did a process to remove the old dye and green tones then put bleach on top to bring it to a nice pale yellow base perfect for the pale lavender I am planning to add myself. My hair is very thick and she spent 4 hours on it. She is amazing and easy to talk to. The salon has a really chill vibe and isn’t intimidating. The prices are reasonable and the service is fantastic. I’ve never had a regular stylist before, but I will be going back to Liz.

Went here on a groupon and usually I’m not all that impressed with groupon purchases but this is definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had!
Liz did a fantastic job, and their pricing is SO REASONABLE.
If you’re in the lansing area, this is the best place around!

Purchased a groupon, for cut and malibu treatment, with Liz. She did a wonderful job, took her time, and worked with my difficult/​curly hair, and it looked amazing. I will be going back to her!
