Tim Horton’s

This was my first ever trip to Tim Horton’s and I really enjoyed their dark roast coffee, black. It was strong and rich without giving me the jittery feeling some dark roasts do. My husband and I picked up some treats as well, he raved about his cherry Danish… I saw signage out front about stuffed cookies and pictured some sort of over-​the-​top fudgy nightmare, but then I wound up loving the lemon cookie with raspberry inside. So good! They were doing a special on coffee that made our total very low, but I thought their prices were excellent in general especially compared to some of the competition. This is more along the lines of Dunkin Donuts (which I love) than a place like Starbucks where you’ll blow 4 bucks on a pastry. Better coffee too. I’m so glad I listened to Canadian friends in years past and finally had the opportunity to try Tim Horton’s!

I do have them for starters. My husband gives them 1 star. He says this is the second time he’s had coffee from Tim Hortons up north in Michigan! Yuck! How can I convert a Dunkin’ Donuts fan into a Tim Hortons fan with cold coffee??? come on Timmys, you got to make your coffee steaming hot! I’m a nurse, I’m used to luke warm coffee.

Great smooth blend that’s reasonably priced. Cookies, donuts, and Timbits are also good.

This location of Tim Horton’s has only been open since, like, April of 2009. It is not a full-​size location, so don’t expect every baked item Tim Horton’s normally offers. I think the counter lady said they only stock 50% of what a full-​range location would offer. The tables have been clean each time I’ve stopped in, and the only real difference between this one and larger locations would be the selection of baked goods. As far as the prepared food items like sandwiches & soups, as well as coffee drinks, you’re probably gonna find the full range.
This location can be super busy before 8am. Especially the drive-​thru.
