Nice that it’s connected to the other bars, because it is way too small. Not enough room to walk. Pudding shots are delicious, but I’d rather not over pay for Canned beer in a small place.

Had fun and a nice place. Would recommend the chairs and tables upfront need to be fixed, very wobbly.

It’s exactly what you expect, a cheap can of beer with the top popped by the bartender. Service is quick(not much to do that is prolonged) but if I wanted a can beer I would stay home.

Small but fun. They have all kinds of things to drink, including $ 2 pudding shots. They have darts and pool as well. Its a smaller more quiet atmosphere, but plenty of fun and located right next to the Loft. They have a Beer Tour and a Shot Tour you can try as well. Right by the Capital, and located in several other areas. Parking is a bit difficult however. Outdoor patio as well for smoking/hanging out

While your bartender was apologetic and made an honest mistake, the bar was certainly severely understaffed for a Saturday afternoon(one bartender?!!). You require an ID as deposit for your cheap darts. No less than 5 minutes after giving your bartender my ID did he give it to a patron by mistake. I now have no ID and an apology. I absolutely expect you to make this right, as a visit to your bar has cost me the replacement of my driver’s license. I would contact you directly, but your website has no email address. Fix this please.

Went there for new years. The people are slow at getting to the tablw, so it’s better to sir at the bar. The had delicious superman pudding shots. The mint chocolate chip wasn’t that bad, but not my favorite. Had a great time there. We’re going to start going more often. :)

I love the Tin Can! how can you not especially on thirsty Thursdays? You can get Faygo bombs. I recommend the«pixie stick». It taste just like pixie sticks. If you like beer they have a wide variety of beers. More than I’ve seen at other bars near by. The DJ is amazing. He plays such good music for everyone’s taste. You can request songs and he plays them in a timely fashion.

Beyond disappointed! Having a great night bar hopping until we came here. First night out on the town from California and the bartender was beyond rude. She completely insulted my group of people by stating we took her tip which we would never do. We have plenty of money and don’t need her lousy few dollars. And for her to not want to listen to anyone who was around us not part of our group was not good customer service at all. Besides the twenties in our pockets we had the $ 13 from the change from the one drink we bought. As the Designated Driver I was completely coherent was treated like a drunken fool. I will never step foot in here again nor recommend anyone going there.

This was our first bachelor party stop. Stepping in it looks like a small space but walking back it’s a labyrinth connected to another bar and club. Above it there is a live music bar that gets excellent live bands. Last time we were here Anberlin was playing although it reached capacity before we got there.

Laid back atmosphere, and cheap beer. What more can you ask for? Also. PUDDINGSHOTS. Get one!

Ok. This is about one o the funniest places I’ve been to in town. Love the hole in the wall atmosphere. It’s a dive but in a good way. Love the beer tour concept. It’s the first time I’ve seen that. The women that work here are awesome!(So are the guys.) Take great care of me and actually chat! They have week day«lunch box» specials. «Good beer, cheap friends.»

This is a quick standing room only place to get drunk quick, to sum it all up. It’s extremely casual — most people sport college sweatshirts and jeans. The music is so, so good but there isn’t any dancing inside. I think you’d get your ass beat if you were caught dancing inside, actually… the summer patio, on the other hand, is the place to be! Still a pretty casual atmosphere, but plenty of dancing on the right nights. I’ve seen some rowdiness in the crowd here, but it’s certainly more kosher than other downtown bars as of late. The best part about Tin Can? Pudding shots. The most amazing pudding shots you’ll ever know. And they’re hearty! You even get a spoon! They also have adult happy meals.

Don’t be scared away by the fact that they don’t have beers on tap. They have an awesome selection of canned beers, pudding shots, and a menu of drinks made with Faygo and Pinnacle vodka. Yum! I’m bummed that I live far away, because there were a lot of drinks on the menu I wanted to try.

Its a cute little place. They have no taps, but what they do have is a dizzying array of beers in cans. They have no real kitchen, but they do serve up hot dogs and dips if you get peckish. Two dart boards and some board games make up the bulk of the entertainment, and one wall is lined in chalkboards for your graffiti pleasure. I agree with another reviewer in that this newcomer is a wannabe dive bar, with a high risk of attracting hipsters, but I love it all the same. Its cramped, it gets loud, and they don’t even have taps! But they do stock all known flavors of Faygo and a ton of different vodkas, so you can make your own Faygo bomb. And their pudding shots are delicious. And the staff is friendly. And there’s a slew of local beers. And…

Meh. I can sum this review up really quick. Cheap beer that isn’t all that cheap. Little to no food available. Pretty much a wanna be dive bar.

The best bar I’ve ever been to. The Tin Can in Lansing Michigan. Have a look at the menu. The cheapest beers ever, all in cans, and they have something called a Happy Meal which consists of A PBR, a shot of whiskey, and a chili dog. They also have FREE darts and $ 2 jello or pudding shots. If you go there, ask for Bob.

My favorite non-brewery bar in Michigan. This place serves all beer in cans. This means the prices for domestic beer is under $ 2. AWESOME! Darts, internet jukebox and a huge, wall sized chalk board… What else do you need?

I came here before partaking in a Thirsty Thursday with the Lansing Lugnuts. The Tin Can is a great little bar that feels crammed even if it’s not busy. Right behind the bar there are fridges chock-full of canned beer. Strohs, PBR, Natural Light, Budweiser, Miller… you name it, they’ll pretty much have it in a can. Cheap too. I know they had some unique cans of beer as well. Right next to the fridge are a bunch of munchies in the salty and delicious variety. Definitely a cool spot to hang out at and pre-drink before going out on the town or Lugnuts game. I wouldn’t consider this place a dive bar yet though. Jon T. hit it on the head, once the regulars scuff off the place a bit, it will be a dive bar in no time. And I’m thinking after a few more Thirsty Thursday Lugnut games it’s shine will be dull in no time. And that’s a good thing.
