Quite upset. I waited 45 minutes only to be told that because I had been in Tanzania recently, I was not eligible to give blood. Why not make this information immediately available to people — either as reading materials while they are waiting, or as a poster on the wall? (he could have shaved 15 minutes off my wait time by responding to my question when I asked about it)
At the very least it would have been nice of him to offer me movie tickets for the extreme inconvenience.
my mother required blood transfusions before she died, so I am quite familiar with the need. The way this was handled makes me worried that others might be reluctant to come back.

Once again, my experience giving blood here was mostly positive. Aside from a 10 minute wait when I arrived, the giving process went fairly quickly. The staff is super friendly and efficient. The process is relatively painless. If you are able to donate blood, please consider doing so!
