A well deserved 5 stars! There’s not much else to cover that other people haven’t– the pastries are decadent, mouth melting and each one has been kneaded and baked with love. I had the sugared donut, cheesecake with raisins and apple turnover. A big thank you to the tall handsome regular in shades for the recommendation, I hope you’re getting a cut the owner is very sweet and proud of her bakery, and rightly so! I will definitely be back to try everything else.

Hidden Gem Alert, Unilocalers: Located off the main drag of Ocean Ave east of Dixie this charming SMALL bakery and café is great for warm winter days where the weather lets you take advantage of the outdoor seating. The last time I had a cardamom roll this good was in Stockholm. Frequented by a ton of older Scandinavians who have found it, if the taste and the meticulous construction of the baked goods didn’t convince you, their loyal following might. It is small, so exercise a bit of patience on a weekend day. If you’re staying at one of Manalapan’s tony hotels, take the short drive up this way. The pastry and coffee are much better!

A tiny gem. As you cross Rt. 812, this place is on the right… careful or you’ll miss it. And you don’t want to do that. This bakery isn’t «industry». Everything we had tasted and looked, homemade. I had a meat and rice pie enveloped in puff pastry. Bring hot sauce and it might be the best meat pie within 100 miles. It was delicious even without a hot sauce. The doughnuts are the real thing, not Krispy, not Dunkin… real cake donuts. The cinnamon bun also delicious. Very reasonable prices. Four items came to under $ 8.00. Coke, cups, but no ice. I wouldn’t call the inside a café… exactly, there is some outside seating. Plenty of parking.

A lovely little spot with a tiny counter packed with freshly baked goodies. The pulla(cardamom braid) is delicate and flavorful, incredibly fresh. I wish I hadn’t been traveling by air when I visited — otherwise, I would have bought more to take home. If you’re Finnish-American, like I am, your heart will be warmed not just by the coffee but by the gentle Finnish accents of the patrons sitting at the outside tables. A home away from home.

Tiny bakery, good bakery, they will ship your favorite bread anywhere in the United States. The help is good. This is a good bakery if you like bakery’s. I’m not talking about Panera’s pre frozen quick baked goodies, or Dunkin Donuts cooked 20 miles away and delivered every 24 hours. It is a REAL bakery. The owner has been baking for about a gazilion years. Plus I like their coffee.

This place is not actually on Ocean Ave but behind the corner on S Oak St. Very small café offers bread, pastries, coffee and other excellent goodies from Finland. For better selection, including candies etc, you should go to the Scandia in Lake Worth.
