I was in the mood for both sushi and thai. Driving past this place over the years and being in the area today, I ventured in. Nice quiet restaurant with a tropical ambiances. I ordered papaya salad and grilled octopus for appetizer and lobster roll for main course. All very fresh and delish. Checking in here with Unilocal saved me 10%, which I will add to the very attentive waitress gratuity. Really nice place. I recommend.

There is one amazing dish that makes this restaurant stand out and that is the steamed red snapper whole fish in ginger scallion sauce. Truly authentic and fresh! It’s a dish that only real Asian love to eat and few really know about. Other dishes are standard, but I love the fish. Get some veggies and brown rice on the side and you will defintely be eating healthy.

Food was good, nice variety between Japanese and Thai; base ice was a tad slow but not a deal breaker.

Just came here around 3pm and to my surprise was the only customer! This place is fantastic and offers an assortment of delicious Thai and Japanese food. Not only that, but it is almost served like a fast food. Within minutes of placing my order I had my soup and main course. The flavour is fantastic, the quality of the chicken is average, but the environment is very formal, so you feel classy eating a higher class Asian-Chao(the mall Asian foods). I am big on making sure you get your money’s worth and I have to say it can be pricey, but considering you get a soup, chicken with vegetables, and rice, you can’t beat their lunch special for 11 dollars. However, dinner is another story, and so are the other options. Lots of mixtures you can get your chicken with. Soft music in the back and wonderful staff. * Must try the Thai tea and Thai desserts!

Very good. I found the sushi to be better than the Thai food that I tried, but very good.

Love this place, good sushi, good Thai, full bar with reasonable prices considering the location. Staff super friendly and accommodating.

We only had the food from the Thai menu. While there was nothing poor about the ingredients and how they were cooked, it seemed that the food was modified to appeal the tastes of elderly Chinese food customers. The best meal at our table was the red curry. The seafood pot was a dilute disappointment and was pricey at $ 25.00. It was basically bland Tom Yum. The fried rice was decent. Drunken noodles were okay but not worth the price. The service was professional and friendly. Prices are nearly double of what one would pay at most Thai places. There are no free refills on fountain drinks. The bill was over $ 100 for four people with no alcohol. No appetizers. The location is pretty nice.

Was there last night for the first time. Have been eating Thai food since 1980 and I have to say, this is one great restaurant on a lot of levels. Everything was very close to probably being the best Thai food I’ve had over the last 35 years. Prices are reasonable for the portion size. Plentiful with anything you order. Have never seen that as much where I’m from(NY and RI) Service was great, not rushed. Ambiance perfect and they had a singer/keyboard player there the whole evening. Very pleasant and great background music. From the best Thai iced tea to the salad with peanut dressing(can opt for the also very good ginger dressing) the fried pork dumplings also excellent. The bowl of Hot & Sour soup was the best, loaded! Was very surprised. Well worth the $ 5.00. I have pix of the tea, salad and the three entrees. We rushed the dumplings, never got to take a pic of it. LOL. You will enjoy this place. I understand they’re closed Monday’s. My sister-in-laws recommended house plum wine for $ 7.00 was very good! We’re only here for the month. Wish we had this place up North.

Very pleased overall. Ate there during lunch time. Prices are very fair and food served is enough for at least two. Server was extremely attentive and polite. Food was yummy… looked and tasted delicious. I went with a thai platter and was not disappointed at all(see pics). My friend had chicken teriyaki. It looked amazing and she was very pleased. BONUS: Got 20% off my bill for checking in with Unilocal.Overall satisfying experience. Highly recommend and I will return again

Nice a quiet restaurant food was great and limited amount of drinks. Nice ambiance and calm music in the background. The waiter I had came and took our order and less than 10 minutes my food was at our table. I’m a vegetarian and don’t eat eggs and my food was cover with eggs everywhere which was a downside for me but besides that great experience.

THEWORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER! Me and my fiancée and 4 of our friends went to have sushi at their restaurant and we ordered drinks, the server came back and my fiancée said we are ready to order, his response«your going to have to wait, I have other things to do « We looked at eachother STUNNED and everyone at the tables mouth dropped. I proceeded to ask the other female server to see the manager and told her what happened and she warned us that ‘the father isn’t any better» the owner of the restaurant came out and started screaming at us telling us if we don’t like it we can leave without even giving us a chance to explain what the server had done he came out and attacked us verbally and screamed at us-our mouths all fell to the floor as he proceeded to tell us we can leave. NEVERWILL I EVERSTEPFOOTINTHISPLACEAGAIN!!! Thaikyo is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh and delicious. I recommend the Pad Thai, soft shell crab green curry, and the crispy roast duck red curry. All appetizers we had were very good, regardless of what you choose you really can’t go wrong with any of them. The owner often engages each table to chat and often brings diners complementary drinks which is a great touch. Max is one of the the host and is always accommodating and very friendly. Thaikyo has a full bar which often hosts many people stopping in for a cocktail. They often have a performer playing the keys and singing which is a nice touch. Some diners even get up and have a dance with a friend or loved one. The restaurant has its own parking lot and during summer months provides outdoor seating. Thaikyo is a must go for great good and good people.

After meeting Tony the owner I was surprise, one of the most amazing Asian places is in the heart of Manalapan, very sophisticated high end restaurant in front of the beach. Definitely worth to try and you will come back!

The owners are so nice & they make new cocktail /martini concoctions all the time… so sit at the bar & you’ll get to sample them all as they’re made. Pear grey goose martini was delish & the Cucumber martini is perfect if your sun burnt… very cool, calming & quenching. Sushi is delicious, rolls are fabulous. What are you waiting for?

The rib appetizer had great flavor, but not a lot of meat. If the server pours your been, it will taste flat… they only serve sappo. The ginger salad is amazingly fresh. I had the volcano. Which is marginally better than mall food as far as freshness goes, maybe because it was breaded chicken; however, the flavor was much better.

Delivery left something to be desired. We paid 45 bucks for California rolls, shrimp pad thai and fried rice. It was over priced, so I thought it would be fabulous. Very disappointing. The noodles were soggy, the pork in the fried rice looked like worms. I couldn’t bring myself to eat it. The California rolls were okay, but seemed to be sitting for a while. The shrimp was plump but they only gave us 4 in the whole meal. The only reason I gave an extra star was the customer service! The delivery man was very sweet, and respectful, as well as the lady on the phone, who was very accommodating!

I’ve eaten here twice. I didn’t want to go the second time, but I had no choice. The first time I went, I ordered some kind of chicken dish, I don’t remember what, but I do remember that the chicken had absolutely no flavor at all. When I called the manager over and told her it had no flavor, her response was, «What flavor do you want?» The second time I went, under protest, the food was average at best, and the staff didn’t seem to be able to handle the crowd. We were too often neglected by our waiter, or serviced by another person who was unaware of what we had asked for. All in all I think this place gets by because people like to say they ate there and nobody will admit that it’s not very special… especially at their prices.

Wowwwwwwww! First off, let me start by saying that this is perhaps one of the most delicious, friendliest places to eat in this area. From the moment you walk inside until the moment you leave, the staff smiles at you and you are treated with kindness. The service is fantastic– quick, attentive, friendly. There is a full bar, and the restaurant is decorated very nicely. It is clean and quite. We ordered the steamed chicken dumplings to start, and they were great. Then, we ordered four rolls:(1) sashimi roll(2) atlantic roll(3) crunchy spicy tuna roll,(4) super volcano roll. Hands down, these were some of the best rolls we have ever ordered. The fish was very fresh, the mix of textures was amazing, and everything was presented so wonderfully. My boyfriend and I have been on a quest to find the«perfect sushi roll order»… and we both agree that tonight we may have found it! We will most definitely be back!

Good service but … the appetizers and 2 of the«House Specialties» were ok. My friend had the sushis and said they were good but nothing like Lemongrass in Delray Beach. I would may be give it another chance to try the rolls.
