Coco Nails

I would refuse even a one star rating for this place. The owner is super rude and sneaky with pricing for ‘special pedicures’. There is a price listing on the wall, which she ignores and tries to tack on as many extra charges as she can.
During my first and only experience there she stated that there is nowhere you can find a mani/​pedi for the price she offers. Which is probably true for Larchmont, but paying an extra two dollars for a mani/​pedi done right is worth it. There are several other nail salons in the area, I would suggest trying any one of them.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences at Coco Nails. I’d call the staff efficient and friendly, and one thing I like is that they don’t assume you want to chat with them beyond the usual pleasantries. I’d just as soon catch up on email on my phone or read a book while getting a pedicure.
I tried a gel manicure for the first time 2 weeks ago, and I’m thrilled with the results. Aside from normal growth showing at the cuticle line, the manicure looks as good as it did the first day. It’s worth the extra cost and a bit more time spent in the chair.

Don’t be fooled by the looks. The place has an ok appearance: clean and simple. The service on the other hand is absolutely AWFUL! What a disappointment. I went in for a pedicure and had close to the worst experience ever. The chair was comfortable but did none of the massage features worked. Lee was my manicurist and she was borderline rude and all around unpleasant. I had my feet in luke warm water for barely 3mins total. The whole pedicure lasted barely 12mins. Barely washed my feet, did the cuticles, put cream on my legs at lightning speed (no massage) and then applied my nail polish (I had brought my own). She also applied a fast dry liquid which cost me an extra $ 1. So for $ 20, I was there 15mins and all she basically did was put on nail polish which i brought.
Not only will I never go there again but I highly urge any reader not to try this place out either.
