You may not believe me, but I have news about cocoa: good news and and freaking better news about Hot Chocolate…
I was left highly disappointed at a Larchmont café when I had freaking Swiss Miss and passing it off as something decadent. So, In response to my irritating review, one Unilocaler reached out to me and suggested Cocoa. I Bookmarked that bad boy and immediately made plans to visit.
At first sight, Cocoa is very petite but it’s packed with an awesome entourage of truffles, bark and gelato (not sure if coffee is served). Angela was so welcoming and offered assorted chocolate squares as well as a nutty tree bark on the house.
For me, Hot Chocolate is an art form where the dark chocolate, cream and sweetness all have to mesh in order to get a fabulous end result in your mouth. For the Chocolate Lover (or maybe not), Cocoa comes with high marks in every way.
So here’s to you, D.R.B for coming to the rescue.

This shop is charming, has a very good selection of chocolates, ice creams during the summer time, different types of teas and the best brownies I have ever tried. I take the trip from Manhattan to go to this wonderful place. Highly recommend!

Run to Cocoa! They have the best selection of chocolate bark in endless varieties! It’s definitely the best chocolatier anywhere around. Everything is gorgeously packaged. There is so much craftsmanship in their chocolate. Plus, their Belgian hot chocolate is out of this world. It’s one of my favorite places to buy gifts.

Chocolate lovers will definitely find plenty to like about this cute and tiny shop. All the chocolates are homemade. The milk chocolate in particular is especially thick and creamy. Their dark chocolate is rich and more sweet than bitter. They have free samples of chocolate bark, which is combined with other ingredients. Don’t miss the Belgian hot chocolate here! If you are tired of watery, overly sweet hot chocolate, this is the drink for you. It is so thick, creamy, and chocolatey, you’ll swear that it’s just made of pure melted chocolate bars and milk. The homemade marshmallow is the perfect way to top it off. Just be careful not to get greedy with the cup sizes; a little goes a long way! A medium will be more than enough. Reasonably priced for a chocolate place of this quality in Larchmont too.

This place is OFF THE HOOK. THE MOST OUTSTANDING LOCAL CHOCOLATE for MILES. Tiny place, with all preparation done on premises. Terrific for Gifts. The Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate Pretzels are outlandishly good.-P.H.
