Really good. The service was impeccable. The Arracherra was tender & flavorful. This is definitely on the top of local restaurant heap.

This restaurant blows away the usual chips/salsa you’re used to getting at a so-so Mex restaurant. The salsas are fresh and delicious and the beans/chorizo dip is fantastic. The waiters are awesome. As for the food, it’s delicious and fresh. It’s pricey but it’s worth it — the quality of the food is exceptional. This is our go-to restaurant when we go to Laredo. I highly recommend this place.

It’s difficult to rate Mexican restaurants in Laredo because there are so many and most are alright. PG is a bit on the classier side, and it tends to be quite crowded for dinner on weekdays and weekends. You get a lot of authentic food in parrilladas, but you do pay a pretty penny. Overall, it’s a fine place to take a friend or family member you wanna impress.

When. I pulled into the lot, it EASY to find a spot. So easy I was worried that the food wasn’t going to be good. I had a selection of spots to choose from and the walked right in. Once inside, I was greeted by three smiling, happy faces. No reservation, and I was seated immediately. This place is very large with a great ambience. The chimney on the wall, and multiple colors on the walls throughout had a calming effect. I felt like I was about to be on a mini vacation as the live mellow music took me to different place. Once seated I was brought chips, salsa and bean dip. I asked for more salsa, wanting to try the variety of salsas. They brought a chipotle, avocado, Pico de gallo, and tomatillo. I also asked for fresh tortillas instead of chips. All of this right away with my drink, no extra charge. My drink(s) were never empty and my table was always clean. I kept looking around at the place, everyone was happy. The employees were smiling and working hard. The customers smiling and enjoying the food, friends and family. I know I enjoyed the food! I couldn’t make up my mind, the menu is so big! However, the the menu states, if there something you want, not on the menu, just let me know and they’ll try to make it. So, I finally made up mind, enchiladas. I couldn’t decide on which kind, so I asked my awesome server, Leonard, for a recommendation. He brought me one of each to try. Or should I say, enjoy? After one bite of each of the four different enchiladas, I quickly realized, the chicken is cooked so perfectly, it doesn’t matter what flavor you put on it, you’re going to enjoy the meal. I sat, relaxed, sipped a hot cup of coffee after the meal, enjoying the music, relaxation, and jovial atmosphere that this mini vacation, ahem-meal, provided. I’ll definitely return, to many delicious meals to try, or maybe I’ll have the same thing…

Went here to check it out with co-workers and it was so good. Food was fresh and very tastefully. I’d definitely come back to try the other dishes.

OK, 99% of the restaurants in Laredo are Mexican. The majority, if not all, claim to be «authentic» Mexican food. I do not know if they are or not but what I do know that their food is better than the majority of restaurants out there. they are a little more pricey but then again, you get what you pay for. Some of their plates are Ok but the ones that are good are really good.

Margarita on the rocks was particularly sweet. I sent it back and and the result was additional lime and more booze. Can’t complain about that. Appetizer was a Crema Poblana soup served with fried flour tortillas chip croutons. It tasted as the name suggests and half way through the dang thing I realized it was full of corn. Enjoyable, but nothing spectacular. Entre was Chile Relleno de Camaron and the beans served with the entre were different, and not as good as the beans served with the chips and salsa. The chile rellenos was good, but un impressive. My overall impression is that the ambiance is classy, but the cuisine is mediocre, inconsistant and overpriced. I suspect this place is related to the fast food place«Taco Palenque’.

Food is delicious! Also enjoyed the free tortilla chips they offer. They are open late and a great place to go eat after a long day of work. Will definitely be eating here again.

While in Laredo, I always try and come here. There’s just the right amount of Mexican food variety to keep anyone looking for this type of food interested. The service is nice and friendly. I haven’t been disappointed with the food. This is a perfect environment to have food and a good laugh with friends while getting a buzz. Plus, they don’t stop serving until late, which definitely helps! In addition, this is a good place to bring a date. The lighting is dim, that way everyone looks good. That ensures you don’t see the cilantro stuck in your dates teeth. The waiter’s definitely assist in ensuring your date feels like a lady. Bahahahahhhaaa, but seriously, just a good environment for good impressions, good food, and a good time.

Server was good and much like others have to agree the chips, salsa, guac and pico at the beginning which is free is almost the main event. My wife loved her tacos but I was surprised they did ask if I want my beef short ribs medium rare or medium but it was hard to be disappointed since other than that the service was amazing. Everything in their desert menu is very rich in taste so be sure to take advantage of it… much like others to this place is worth of almost 3 dollars signs as it is definitely pricey.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here while in town on business and can’t wait to go back. I had the fried red snapper, which was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. My husband started with a ceviche appetizer(although the portion was easily entrée size) and then had a dish of spicy beef tips(the name of which escapes me now). Our waiter was very attentive and the overall vibe was upbeat and welcoming. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had(and being from Texas, I’ve had a lot). When in Laredo, definitely put this on your list.

Great restaurant in Laredo! Waitstaff are very attentive.(This is my second time here and I can vouch for that both times.) On both visits, I ordered the shish-ka-bobs on rice, but swapped one for chicken. I have to say they marinate and spice up their meats oh so well! It was one of those situations where my tastebuds want it all and my stomach says, whoa there! That’s okay as I just opted to savor the rest of it for a later meal. So delicious! The restaurant is clean and one thing I noticed that I’ve never noticed at other restaurants was that there was a tv in the bathroom… highly recommend!

The food and service were both very good. The menue has a great selection as well. The chips snd salsa and dips that were starters were great as well. Wish I had made a note of the meat dish I had because it was good and great spiciness!

Ambience was ok, waiter was not very friendly and seemed like he had no interest in serving us. When we asked about the menu, he said it’s like anything else. The food was not good and lacked flavor, the chips and salsa were good. I guess if you are looking to hang out with friends and only eat tostada chips it would be a good place, but get your dinner somewhere else. Not worth the high prices due to lack of flavor and lack of service.

I had the parrillada for 2 with shrimp, steak and chicken. The chicken was dry and over cooked, but the shrimp and stake were to die for. They have different kinds of salsa in different levels of spiciness. They also have a whole wall of Mexican celebrities pictures eating at this place. It was quite nice love music too. Drinks were good.

I had a great time here, our waiter knew the menu inside/out. He made some recommendations about what to order and I have to say the food was great. To start, they will bring a plate with tortilla chips, refried beans and hot sauce. Then we order some Camarones AguaChile: Spicy stuff. I order the Costillas Palenque and few Whiskeys(Grand Old Parr) and everything was well prepared. Ribs full of flavor, meat almost falling out of the bone. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good meal.

The place was packed on a Friday night so we expected great food … And we were very disappointed. Very average chips & salsa to start with, not bad but average. We ordered panchos as an appetizer. They had been in the oven too long and the fajita was dry … That was a theme of our meal. For entrees I got the sombrero sampler & my wife got fajita tacos, which arrived room temperature. Again, dry meat. I had looked forward to the empanadas which were very bland. Neither of us finished our meals, it was a ton of food. To top it all off this place is very expensive for what you get. You get the same at Taco Palenque for half the price. I won’t go back.

On a business trip and its 9 pm. Next door is this place smells good. I call a take out order. Enchiladas verde side chips salsa no charge. What a feast! Tortillas homemade savory chicken. Rice awesome, beans great and chips terrific. Loved the bean dip and salsa. All for $ 14. Too bad I’m 320 miles away or I would be there everyday. Give 5 stars

We really enjoyed our experience here. Service was top notch… we asked for limes for our water and got a plate full of key limes with a juicer… Awesome! Hubby had the enchilada verde and they were huge! Stuffed with meat! He said they were excellent and the verde sauce was the best. I had the spaghetti cuchi cuchi with shrimp And I am most definitely going to try to recreate this at home! Only thing I thought I was missing was bread to sop up the sauce… And then I found the homemade corn tortillas… perfect! Oh… And husband said to try the margaritas… He had two!
