Ash Brothers Cigar Store

Just left this establishment with my boyfriend after visiting many times in the past for the occasional cigar and gifts for my father. The owner is usually friendly but this evening he asked my boyfriend if he put a cigar in his pocket as we were walking up to the counter to pay for a cigar. At first I thought it was an odd joke but the owner was not joking. We were shocked! The owner continued to exclaim that he had cameras when my boyfriend said no he did not take a cigar. He said he just had to ask because he doesn’t assume. I told the owner that was bad for business to make your clients feel like criminals, and he told me I was right, but that if people act suspicious and that pisses us off then he doesn’t really care. I guess in his mind my boyfriend was acting suspicious because he picked up a couple of cigars and put them back until he found the right one. We ended up paying for the cigar and leaving politely. However, you sir, just lost two clients. You did assume, and just because two young individuals walking in on their day off to pick out a cigar, does not mean that we are criminals.

This place for a casual place to smoke and watch T. V is great! The selection of cigars are huge and customer service is great.
I have this 3 stars because the place could be updated, your clearly in the back of an old garage or shop while smoking.
If you don’t mind this, then go for it! Even the seating is great!

Doug is very friendly and knowledgeable. He has created a great atmosphere with one of the best humidors in the area. The lounge is a great place to enjoy his great cigar collection and see the game I can’t say enough about this place!

Let me start by saying that I am a non-​smoker, as is my other half. We ventured into Ash Brothers Cigar Store to grab a few Cubans for our nephew. Doug, the owner, graciously allowed us to peruse the humidor alone for a bit before venturing in to grab his own stick, whereby he proceeded to assist us two rookies with finding the perfect smoke. He gave us some tips on how to bring them back to Canada with no loss of quality or taste and we will most definitely return to Ash Brothers on our next trip to Largo. Top notch service and HUGE selection of amazing product. All you fellow Canucks who are looking to stock up on any tobacco products during your winter layover should stop in and check it out! Great place to kick back, watch some golf and smoke a great cigar. Large selection of cigars so there’s something for everyone. I’m not a pipe smoker but from what I see and hear they have some good choices of tobacco. The owner Doug is very helpful and friendly. If he’s not behind the counter you would think he was just another patron.

I am very impressed with how nice Ash Brothers has turned out. The new owner, Doug, has done a great job rehabilitating the humidor and renovating the retail space.
The lounge area sports new TV’s, plenty of chairs and tables and comfortable lounge chairs. there is a good selection of wine and beer. The humidor itself has an excellent selection of cigars that is constantly growing.
Ash Brothers is a great neighborhood cigar shop. I recommend you stop in if you have not had a chance to yet.

Been here more than a few times and it’s a great store with plenty to offer. Although no Padron, there’s a nice selection of Fuente, Ashton, Oliva, and much more. The owner Doug is very personable and it has a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere.
You should definitely stop by if your in the area and want a really good cigar.

Nice and large place to buy some sticks. They sell everything from cigars to lotto in this place and maintain a warm friendly atmosphere. Humidor is medium sized but is packed with a great selection of sticks to meet any taste. They also sell ecigs and all the stuff to go with it as well. Staff is very personable and make you feel comfortable. All and all a nice place to stop and pick up some sticks when you happen to be in the area.

Stopped in to check out Ash Brothers after reading about it on Unilocal.Great place with a substantial humidor and good selection of premium cigars. No Rocky Patel’s but plenty of other good choices. The owner helped me select a boutique label that beat my usual smoke hands down. They have a very well thought out selection of bottled beer. They even have my favorite Magic Hat #9 at $ 3 a bottle; can’t beat that. Been back two more times since to enjoy the plush leather chairs and camaraderie. Back again and still loving it the selections keep growing and chatting with the owner he’s planning on adding more beer and wine as well as always growing his cigar selection!

Last night I needed pipe tobacco so I stopped in to this store. I was blown away by how nice it was. They’ve got a cigar lounge with very comfortable chairs, a decent selection of beer & wine and a wide variety of cigars & pipe tobaccos in all price ranges.
The owner was very friendly & knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions.
From now on, this is my «go to» store for my tobacco needs and to get away from the house and enjoy a cigar or two.

Stopped by here recently, glad I did. This smoke shop is under new ownership. Great variety of cigars, with decent prices. New owner Hugh seems very hospitable.
I buy most of my cigars from JR Cigars, I still like to try new sticks now and then. I bought a few from here and was very happy with their condition. Nicely humidored.
I look forward to stopping here again to relax and smoke a fine cigar.
