Me and my beautiful girlfriend Alyssa were home for the night and we didn’t want to leave, so we decided to order in chinese food. We ordered from China express and it was good olé american Chinese food. Was not gourmet, but was exactly what we expected. I usually order the Garlic chicken combo and Alyssa usually gets the Chow mien w/​shrimp. Have had no complaints. Today Alyssa ordered her usual and i decided to switch it up. I ordered the almond chicken. It doesn’t look too bad, but I’m fishing in this clear sloppy goop for chicken and I cant find anything except veggies and these little bits and I finally realize the little bits are chicken that have a stale poultry taste. I find a huge chunk of chicken that is all torn and beat up connected by gross connective tissue and fat.
That is not even why i will never go back there. I call to let them know that the chicken is non edible and see if maybe i can get a credit or something for the meal i bought and maybe i can use it next time i want Chinese food. All i get back is «that is how the chicken is in the almond chicken, if you get a different dish then it is a different style of chicken». Basically told me that i should have known. I am not one to complain, but they did not try at all to better the situation and for sure lost a customer forever. The chicken repulsed me.
