Excellent food, I’m from the northeast and this is alot like the Chinese food you get up there, William and his family are always friendly and smiling.

First time trying this place on Friday, 7÷17÷15 about 7pm. Called in a carry out order including sweet and sour chicken, general tso chicken, won tons, crab rangoon and extra egg rolls. The chicken was chewy and both orders and the sweet and sour sauce were tasteless. The sauce seemed diluted. The wontons when opened up were slightly mushy and you could see the grease. We ended up throwing most of the food away. We are not hard to please, and this is someplace we will not go to again or reccommend.

Another great meal here! Loving the pepper steak. Everything was clean and perfect. They always go above and beyond to accommodate us. Thumbs up!

Always a quality meal. We get takeout at least once a month and I’ve never had a bad meal. The owners are always very nice and attentive. I highly recommend General Tsos chicken, spring rolls, lo mein, dumplings, and honey chicken. Soups are good too. We are always able to get great takeout for less than $ 10 per person.

We order from there last night on our way back from the beach. It was around 8pm and no one was there… that should have been our clue to run in the opposite direction! Our meals were AWFUL!!! The crab rangoons were stale, the beef teriyaki was over cooked and cold, and the chicken was soggy! Not to mention the rice was cold and soupy! We tried to talk to the man behind the counter and he called us liars… more then once!!! We asked them to reheat the food or give us out money back and he basically spit at us!!! So, for $ 20 we didn’t eat dinner and we learned our lesson!!! I will NEVER go in that place again! Next time, I’m checking the Unilocal reviews first!

Meh. Some things too sweet. The rest straight bland. Wouldn’t deliver until after 9pm. Didnt alert me to sizes so i ended up with twice as much food and bill than expected. Even egg rolls and soup sucked. Wont order again.

DIRTYDININGALERT: I chose to eat her based on the fairly decent reviews I saw here(save for the super scary«METALINFOOD» ordeal(WOW)… anyhow; I went in to the store to order and take-out… while I was waiting I saw several large cockroaches, and rodent feces in the dining area… I also saw one of the cooks/cashiers sneeze in to his hand, handle money, and pick trash off the floor… and then go in the kitchen and handle food without washing his hands. I stood up and left… you can keep the e-coli thanks.

Pretty good! We were too lazy too cook anything the other night so we decided to order some good olé Chinese food. Food was ready within 15 minutes and it was right around the corner so we went to pick it up. The people working were so nice, being nice goes a long way. Super polite and ready to help. Obviously i picked out this place on Unilocal and chose it because of the name… common. Wok n Roll. what an awesome name!!! We ordered 2 combos, 1 with sesame chicken, chicken fried rice and an egg roll and the other with sweet and sour chicken, white rice and won ton soup. Pretty good deal for 18 $ i thought. There was enough food for left overs the next day for lunch too. I wasn’t a fan of the won ton soup, it was really sour tasting? It had big won tons though. The chicken fried rice was pretty good too, i personally love the white rice but it wasn’t bad. All around the food was decent and we’ll probably go back again.

DONOTEATHERE!!! There was metal in my food and when we called the company they refused to rectify the situation. The man on the phone was nothing short of rude and essentially said«oh well, sorry»

Kung pow chicken was excellent. Pork fried rice was very good. Eggroll not very good. Ingredients seemed fresh. Will try again and update.

This place has really good food and nice owners but only give 4 stars because they can’t get it together with the Fried Wantons, they are always too greasy and under cooked. Other than that the Combinations are huge.

Wok N Roll became a favorite of my Dad a few years ago when he lived in Clearwater. We’ve been there numerous times, and have had a wide variety of entrees with consistently good results. It’s located in the Publix shopping center in the southwest corner of W. Bay and Clearwater-Largo Rd. The inside is the typical interior of many Chinese takeout places, just a few tables for dining in, with a counter in front of the large kitchen in the back. It’s always been very neat and clean during my visits. Everything I’ve eaten there has been good, including chicken & broccoli, szechuan chicken and kung pao shrimp. While Wok N Roll’s menu includes all the standard choices you’ll find most anywhere, it’s enhanced by some rarer dishes like more than a dozen«Chef’s Specialties» like Subgum Fried Wonton(a kind of Chinese variation of ravioli stuffed with pork, fried in a typical Mandarin fashion, flavored with highly selected ingredients such as chicken, shrimp, roast pork and mixed Chinese vegetables) and Chicken & Shrimp in Hunan style(chicken & shrimp sauteed with onions, green pepper, broccoli, celery bamboo shoots, water chestnuts & mushroom, served in a spicy sauce). The menu also includes a weight watcher’s corner, with 10 dishes that are cooked without salt, oil or corn starch, and only prepared with garlic & cooking sherry. A choice of garlic sauce, white or brown sauce is served on the side, with a serving of white rice. Finally, the menu features one of the largest selections of lunch specials(over 70 in total!) I’ve ever seen at a Chinese takeout place, all priced at $ 4.99. And that includes the entrée, pork fried or white rice, and a choice of canned soda, egg roll, ice tea, bottled water, wonton soup or egg drop soup. It’s a great deal for a complete lunch meal, especially since it’s priced cheaper than most fast food lunch combos with sandwich, fries & drink. Wok N Roll is not the best Chinese food I’ve ever had, but it’s above average for the many takeout places I’ve tried in Clearwater and Palm Harbor. Atmosphere: 4 Service: 5 Food: 4 Value: 5
