Hammerhead’s Ace Hardware

Hammerhead’s is amazing. It’s my one stop shop for gifts for any occasion. They have a large gift shop in the front of the store that is fabulous. Perfect host or hostess gifts if you are going to a dinner party or holiday party.

This place is awesome.
I have been here for hardware reasons as well as gift shopping reasons. The store is smaller than the big box stores, and cheaper. It’s also super close to my job so I like to go here right after work. It’s never crowded but has a steady clientele.
We had a screen door screen redone here, and that turned out well. We have bought the most obscure hardware part here.
As far as gifts go– they’re unique and can’t be found anywhere else. And I love that. The thing that bothers me most– is that there are bunnies… everywhere…I love bunnies… I want to take them all home with me!!!
Plus, they do personalized gift wrapping!
I will be back!

The best employees ever! Need parts for a project? No problem. Bring a picture of the project, measurements or sample part, and they will help you find what you need (or something that will work).

This place offers a lot of useful items from toilet seats, and screws to poo-​pourri odor eliminating spray. If you need it they probably have it.
This isn’t just like any Ace Hardware store this is a very unique large Ace, they have a section with all kinds of unique knick-​knacks and they even sell jewelry, I haven’t been to another Ace like this one, conveniently located in a plaza with other things like a tropical smoothie, and located close to myself. I find myself coming here for various things.
If you need something I would come to this place, they have just about everything Lowe’s and Home Depot have, keep in mind they are a bit more expensive then Lowe’s and Home Depot.
One downside to this place is their hours, they seem to close at 5 – 6 most days which makes them a little inconvenient. When you are working on that late-​night project and bought the wrong size of screws, (this guy) let’s just say the wife wasn’t too happy.
However I would suggest coming to this place and checking it out, bring the wife, the unique items in the front of the store will keep her interested while you go look at the tools and whatever you might need.
I give them 4 stars because of the hours. If they were opened later, than I would give them 5 stars.

This is a great store. It’s large and has a little bit of everything. I love the cute gift shop. They have so much stuff it’s hard not to buy something every time I go. I do however find something’s to be more expensive, yet plenty at the same price or well under competitors prices.
Ps, I wish they were open later. At least as late as competitors 9/​10p.

I needed a new handle for my hand axe so I went to home depot, no luck. Lowes, nada. Hammerheads had five different styles and the employees helped me find them as soon as I walked in the door. It’s the largest Ace hardware I’ve ever seen and is very well arranged. I’m only rating a four because of the small kitschy craft store located inside to the right, it detracts from the utilitarian feel a bit, but that’s purely personal preference. I’d much rather go here than either of the «big two» stores.

If u can’t think of where to get what you need, I’ll bet they have it.
I was recently looking for a crab trap and a live well pump, went to West Marine, they didn’t have the size I wanted, tried a few other spots, nothing. Was strolling thru hammerheads, and there they were.
Was looking for some river rocks to put around a few bushes in the back yard. Went to Lowes and Home Depot, they didn’t have the same kind. Went to Hammerheads and there they were.
Was looking for a weedless hook for fishing the flats. Went to the Baithouse, Sports Authority, and Dick’s, nothing. Went to Hammerheads, and there they were, plenty in stock.
I have plenty more examples exactly like this, and after the fifth time this happened I realized this should be my go to place. Now this is where I start my search when I need something.
This store is surprisingly huge, and I swear, they have at least one of everything u need.

I started shopping at this store about a year ago. It is defininitely not your average hardware store. The gift section of this store is AMAZING. And even better, they sell my favorite brand of candle, Trapp Candles,. If you are looking for seasonal decorations, décor, gifts, candles, scents, and more, on top of your hardware needs than this is the store to go to. If I could, I would give it 10 stars.
