Denny’s

Place is much better now, they remodeled the whole dining room, looks new, detailed, and very clean!

Worst waitstaff! Our waiter took our order and he never checked on us, but walked by us several times and even looked down our way when we were waiting for our check. We actually had to stop him after 10 minutes of waiting to ask him for the check… one waitress made a comment that a customer shouldn’t be complaining about waiting when their order was put in 10 minutes ago, right infront of us.

I’ve eaten here 4 – 5 times over past few weeks. Food is good in typical diner way. Unlike one reviewer I’ve never smelled sewer gas or observed cockroaches (sounds like he was a happy ex-​employee). The servers are unfailingly pleasant and accommodating. It’s solid.

I had a disappointing morning. It started with a dream about delicious strawberry waffles and ended in bitter disappointment after finding out that Waffle House didn’t carry strawberries or whipped cream. I dejectedly searched for salvation.
I found it at Denny’s. I was welcomed with a smile and swiftly seated. My waitress was friendly and helpful. At last, I got my strawberry waffles.
Denny’s, you make dreams come true.

This place is awful, I had been here twice last year but nothing has changed this time when I went in to pick up takeout. The smell is terrible. It smells like the worst mildewed place I’ve ever been. The waitress tried to tell me they had just cleaned the carpets. Strange, they must clean those carpets every time right before I go. Food is OK, standard Denny’s.

We slept late and were out looking for a place to eat a late Christmas breakfast/​lunch. We drove a long time and finally found Dennys opened so we stopped. Walking in we were greeted by a sewer smell but we stayed because we were so hungry. Looking up on the ceiling tiles and air conditioning duct it looked like there was mold on them and it was very dirty. We ordered anyway and got our drinks quickly and talked for at least 30 minutes waiting for food but it didn’t come. The waitress came by and told us that it would be 45 minutes. We questioned her since we had already been there at least 30 minutes and she checked on our food and came back saying that they hadn’t even started on our food (pancakes and eggs) so it would be another 45 minutes. We gave up and left to find somewhere else to eat. I have no idea why it would take so long to make pancakes and eggs but I know we won’t be back.

There has been multiple complaints about roaches crawling on the walls and tables the smell of sewer throughout and by the bathrooms the mold above the ceiling tiles the refrigeration is constantly above 40 degrees cuz the equipment is so old and they will not replace it trust me I worked there on and off for 13 years I know the truth and I would not recommend to go eat there that’s my opinion you can decide for yourself though these are just facts that I’ve seen for myself thanks

It’s a shame for a business that is so well-​known that this place does not keep it clean and some their employees are very rude. Be careful of all the ups charges that they don’t tell you about and when I asked about them they continue to argue with me and tell me that I should have known. This place is not clean at all their black spots and some ceiling tiles I can only suspect that it’s mold. I don’t think the chairs of the benches have been replaced in probably a decade.

Slow as hell every time I come here and the same bullshit excuse everytime which is «only 1 cook is available» place is a run down shithole, carpet greasy, chairs are ripped, couple booths has chunks missing out of the table. Needs a tear down and rebuild. Food wasn’t bad, when it finally arrived. I grew a beard while waiting.

Ok I have been to two Denny’s in the Tampa Bay Area, either they need new management or all of them need to be renovated. How were the food is pretty good.

Since my last visit there the food is terrible. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

I know it’s strange…5 stars for a Denny’s right? Check it out, I’ve eaten at this location before this last visit. It was «meh». So, today the hubs wanted Denny’s. I agreed. Inside was a little sketch, as usual. Waitress sat us ASAP! Really laid back attitude. I dig it. We ordered burgers and fries. Got side salads also. btw, the best and biggest side salad (with a ton of veggies in them) I’ve ever had. (Check the pic). Burgers came out: HUGE! Buns fresh, veggies fresh and cooked perfect. Manager came by, asked if we were good. She went and got us new drinks (didn’t just refill or present glasses) that’s a +. The cook even came out and asked every table how things were! That was a first! We told HER that it was great! She thanked us. Waitress made deserts to go… best deserts and most generous I’ve had from a Denny’s ever. As we were paying. they told us, they are about to go under renovations. Next time we want to grub, this Denny’s it is! Don’t be scared. Try it out! (It was a Thursday around 8:30 pm) looked at receipt: servers name was Jamie C.

I tired to order something healthy so I went with an omelet with veggies. The plate was soaked in grease, it did not look healthy at all. The grits were tasteless lumps of mush. My son’s pancakes, on the other hand, were delicious with cinnamon drizzled across the top. The hash browns were crispy and his scrambled eggs were fluffy.

Wir waren auf unserer dreiwöchigen Reise in drei Denny’s. Das hier ist das schlimmste Denny’s ever. Das Gebäude ist baufällig, es riecht unangenehm in dem Lokal. Wahrscheinlich ist der Teppichboden total verdreckt. Das Essen war teilweise kalt und die Bedienung am Ende ihrer Schicht, wohl auch am Ende. Sie tat mir nur leid. Der LAden gehört abgerissen.
