Long John Silver’s

I came and purchased 2 meals to go and a medium size soda. They gave me the wrong soda and I didn’t say anything because I was tired and wanted to get home. I ordered a shrimp and crab cake dinner with coleslaw and 2 hush puppies and a clam dinner with onion rings, corn and 2 hush puppies. My shrimp and crab cake dinner was missing the sauces and the coleslaw. The clam dinner was missing the hush puppies, sauces, and only had 3 onion rings. I called and spoke to the manager. He said I could give him my name and I could come back another time and he would give me the sauces, 2 more onion rings (because they are only allowed to give 5), the coleslaw and 2 hush puppies! I asked what the H$ll am I supposed to do with that? I told him that both the meals were ruined but it didn’t seem to bother him. Also, there were 2 cars ahead of us and we were in line waiting for 25 minutes. I will never do business there again. If I could write my complaint without putting any stars I would so giving them 1 star is being generous.

15 minute wait at drive thru with no one ahead or behind us. When we asked why, was told «soup was frozen and had to be thawed out». No spoons or forks in bags after we drove to our destination. The slaw was so minimal, you could see the bottom on both individual containers. Wanted to do survey but the ink on receipt was unable to be seen, needed changing.

What a disaster! Disorganized, broken equipment. Can’t take credit cards or big bills.

Been coming here about a year now. Probably six times. One of those times with eight orders and one other time for three orders. All other times were solo. Food is good every time. They left out a piece of chicken when i went with three orders. But the food has always been good, service friendly and the place is clean. That’s all i ask of fast food joints. I notice the horrid reviews are before i started coming here. New management maybe?

Food here is awful. A true insult to seafood. The A&W menu is just as bad.

This is not a good place to eat at all! I totalla agree w/​gourmet G! The food is greasy and tasteless. The tartar sauce was too mayo-​ish to me. I had to wash my face after going there because I felt gross and oily from just being there for 2 seconds. The only positive thing I can say is that its cheap? but you really get what you pay for.

Corporate acquisitions make for strange bedfellows that spawn odd, joined-​at-​the-​hip (or at least under-​one-​roof) offspring — like this A&W Root Beer/​Long John Silver’s outlet — that vie for your fast food dollars. On the way home from Ash Wednesday services, we were looking for nothing more than a fast, cheap, meatless meal, and this place delivered on all counts. Buttered lobster bites sounded promising, but they proved to be more breading than seafood, with the same artificial flavor as the popcorn in a discount movie theater. The cole slaw was decent, but hushpuppies and cheese sticks, while a weIcome departure from the standard fries, were oozing grease. If we were opting to give up good food for Lent, this definitely would be an ideal spot to eat for the next forty days and nights.
