If you want good food at a reasonable price along with good service, this is the place. Nothing fancy. Just a nice little breakfast & lunch restaurant.

maria’s is a nice cozy restaurant however, you do not want to go there in the summer as you will sweat inside. even though the fans are on, it’s still an oven inside. the staff is friendly & so is maria! the food is good yet a little pricey for what you get. overall, a nice place to eat when it is not hot outside. air conditioning is a nice investment!!!

Love the homemade selections. Warm and friendly. I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here. One of my fav is the Chicken Parm. The breakfasts are great !! Love the family atmosphere. I am not a chain customer and I love Maria’s for the charm and the food.

Always welcomed like family. Great place for brunch after church. Simile meals done well. Décor is light and kitchy with silver spoons everywhere. A go to for us for breakfast

Ditzy waitress, didn’t feel welcomed or appreciated here. My parents like this place, so I was confused. Omelette way over done. My husband got an order of pancakes and she brought him one and said they needed to make him 2 more and she’d bring them out later. He said that she could wait and bring them out together and she said, oh, but this one would get cold. OMG! Make 3 new ones. Chocolate milk had a teaspoon of hershey syrup and a spoon. Owner came and grabbed honey off of our table not even asking if we were done with it. We weren’t. Wouldn’t go back here. Sorry mom. Sorry Maria.

Maria used to run the Hometown just down the street, now defunct, so I was interested in what she had to offer. We had to wait a few minutes for a table but that wasn’t a problem as it was a busy Saturday. The coffee was above average and, as one might expect with such a busy time, fresh. Still I have tasted far worse. I had the Eggs Benedict and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. While not expecting authentic Hollandaise sauce, this was certainly an excellent substitute, very smooth and very flavorful. The eggs were perfectly poached and I felt they were a great bargain for the price. One could not have expected better. My wife’s omelet, on the other hand, was overcooked. She does ask that her eggs be well cooked, so I can partially forgive this. However the bacon, although crispy, as she asked, was perfectly tasteless. We would have sent this back had we been able to locate our waitress. It’s a small place, so I think her being too busy to check with us on our food is unjustified. This brings us to the rating. I feel the food definitely deserves 3 stars. However, the Hometown utilized older more experienced waitresses and they knew how to make customers feel comfortable and at home. For whatever reason, I noticed that all the waitresses now were on the young side and ours was about as interested in us as a traffic cone. If you want someone’s business, you not only have to provide good food, but you have to at least make an effort at pretending to care. Perhaps ours was unique on that score or was having a bad day, but being a young attractive blond doesn’t mean you don’t have to ask how the customers’ food is or be pleasant. For the sub-standard service, I am giving Maria’s 2 stars.

Grabbed a quick bite while our car was being serviced by Tires Plus, in the same plaza. I had an omelette and he had a gyro. The food was defenitely good, omelette was cooked a litte agressively(kinda too brown on the outside) but that seems hard to get away from in diners such as this. I always order my breakfast potatoes well done and these were cooked well and seasoned which I always appreciate. Didn’t try the gyro, he said it was good, and it looked good but the fries were awesome, light and crispy. They had a case of fresh made(from a bakery, not made in house) apple fritters that we saw on the way out that were the size of my head. Glad I was full because that was tempting! We were greeted warmly at the door and our waitress was great, however she fell into that all too familiar trap of being slightly over familiar. My mom did not name me baby lol. That being said, my tea was kept full and she was on the ball so I really can’t complain. Why only three stars? The bathroom was filthy. My shoes stuck to the floor and the soap dispenser did not work. This place is screaming for a remodel. Literally no décor and the walls are painted beige, not very warm or inviting. I would eat here again, probably won’t be on my short list of go to places but the food and service were great, the place itself needs some help though.
