My daughter wanted her birthday breakfast here, so we Unilocaled it. Based on the reviews and pictures, we decided it would be a good idea to try! From the moment we walked in (not letting anyone know it was her birthday) we were made to feel welcome! It’s a quaint little place with a lot of happiness! The good food and cheap prices make it even better!

I tried this diner on a recommendation of a friend and it exceeded my expectations.
There are 2 breakfasts I always try. One is Eggs Benedict and the other is biscuits and gravy, both were delicious. The hash browns were cooked well, just like I ordered.
The coffee was fresh and tasted like I had made it myself.
I also ordered a cheeseburger/​fries for my 10 year old and Mac/​cheese for my 7 year old. No complaints from them, and they raved about the fries.

Nice little mom & pop restaurant. Went on a Sunday morning and there was a long wait, which is to be expected for Sunday Brunch. The staff is friendly and the food is a decently priced. I didn’t care for my meal though, there was nothing «special» about it. I prefer my breakfasts made at home. Other than that, pleasant experience, good place to bring the family for a quick bite.

First time experience was pretty good. Get the French Cakes. Three french toast slices dipped in pancake batter. It will not disappoint. The bacon could have been cooked a bit longer. The service was average. Overall, big hearty dishes for a reasonable price made for a nice meal.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The owner is always there helping and talking to everyone and his whole staff is amazing. The food is amazing and the coffee never stops coming. You might have to wait for a few and it is small inside But its worth the wait. The menu has something for everyone.

I go here every Saturday, totally worth the wait for the early bird specials, or if your in need of a country fried steak and ice coffee after a late Friday night. The food is fantastic and the staff is super friendly.

I am giving this place a four because the food was reasonably priced and tasty but not the best breakfast I have had. Definitely arrive early as this place is packed but for the food it makes sense. I got the egg with grits and sausage and the golden bear french toast. I loved the French toast. It was soft and sweet. Love the idea of dipping it in pancake batter. I highly recommend that for anyone and I think I need the recipe. The grits were good and creamy. The coffee could be stronger. Food overall was tasty, nothing that made my eyes go in the back of my head at first bite but still a great place with very friendly staff. I think this is a good place to go for breakfast in the area.

Visited here last Sunday, slipping into the door and bolted over to sit at the counter for a single service breakfast. Was greeted immediately with the offer of coffee and a menu. They were extremely busy as everyone was trying to get a seat before for 11am breakfast surcharge. I ordered the breakfast burritos with hash browns, served with a tasty salsa and sour cream. All was delicious. Employees were friendly but their time was very limited with little time to even take an order and then run. There was many signs of regular locals who enjoy this place, I will be back sometime to try other dishes to review.

This is a great mom and pop type restaurant. The food is delicious and made with care. The prices are very reasonable and the portion of food is large. The best part is that you can order breakfast all day. They have Greek options as well as typical American diner fare. The omelets are large and filling. The lunch specials come with a soup and ice cream, which is a welcome addition. The service is quick and friendly. The owner almost always comes by and asks how everything is and if there is anything else needed.

I love Golden Bear. We showed up on a Saturday morning and there was a short wait but not too bad. Everyone was really pleasant. The servers were attentive but not pushy.
My wife ordered the Belgian waffles with bananas. They were fluffy and tender and she also got bacon which was cooked perfectly. I ordered the chili omelette and I can only say wow. It was great. I also tried their grits which were cooked perfectly as well
Long story short. Give this place a chance it’s worth you’re while.

If you like bears and breakfast this is your spot! The place has bear decorations everywhere! The food: typical breakfast food, prices were inexpensive and the service was great. Definitely worth going for breakfast if you’re in the area.

They have a small menu that is cheap if you get there before 11:00. Perfect for smaller appetites.
Good solid choice for breakfast. Always busy on the weekends but they move the crowds in and out quickly. The kitchen is on point so the food is always good. Service is good but be warned that once they serve you they go MIA on you. They drop the check with the food and move on to other tables so if you want a box or a drink to go ask for it then.
Eggs are cooked properly and the hash browns are seasoned and have an almost creamy consistency in the center. Really good.
Don’t ask me why but the smell of this place always makes me want chocolate milk.

A nice, friendly place for a quick breakfast. If you’re looking for a place with a neighborhood feel, not super fancy, inexpensive, where everyone knows your name, this is the place to go.
The place features basic breakfast staples: eggs done any way, short stacks or large pancakes, omelettes. Can’t beat the price, super cheap. The waitress was beyond nice to my kids which always makes me want to tip more.
