The doctor and nurse were friendly and thorough! I am on vacation and they took great care of my asthma! I highly recommend Med Express in Largo, FL!!!

I would like to give zero stars. I started having symptoms of a stomach bug on Sunday, my main complaint being nausea. The nausea remained almost constant so on Wednesday I decided to go to urgent care. I was impressed with the overall appearance of this location as it was clean and professional looking. I saw Dr. Trowbridge who stated I must have a stomach virus, which I agreed, and she gave me anti nausea medicine. I actually didn’t have to take it because Thursday and Friday I was feeling a lot better. I believe on Saturday I overdid it trying to eat a more normal diet and the nausea returned. I took the medicine prescribed but it did not help. Since I was just seen my husband called and explained my nausea had returned and the medicine prescribed was not working and asked if a different medication could be prescribed. He was told I would need to come in. I went and saw Dr. Trowbridge again who told me a stomach virus would not last this long and I would need to see my GI dr. This being a Saturday my GI dr was closed. I asked if a different medication could be prescribed for my nausea so I could sleep, she told me I was already given the best there is and told me to call my GI dr on Monday. I work in the medical field and we never let our patients leave in discomfort. If Dr. Trowbridge knew she would not prescribe something different I should have never been told to come in when I called. I made it clear over the phone I just wanted a different medication. Reading google reviews I am not the only person who was booted out without being helped. I would not go here again.

Read the reviews before going to this palce… I didn’t and it cost me. MedExpress is a Rip Off! My primary doctor couldn’t see me for 2 weeks and I was concrened about a swollen gland, so I decide to go to MedExpress rather than wait. Which was my fault. I was seen by the doctor for 4 to 5 minutes, she told me she couldn’t help me with the issue I was having. She did refer me to a doctor who could and did help me, which I am thankful for. However that 5 mintue visit plus the referral cost me a $ 160.00. My insurance comapny Cigna cover $ 100.00, now I have to pay $ 60.00 out of pocket for a Referral. I understand that this is a business and they have to make money, but to charge someone $ 160.00 for a 5 minute visit, that they couldn’t even treat is a complete rip off… I will never recommend this place to anyone… Your better off going to your primary Dr. or to the emergency room… Stay away from this place.
