I had an awesome experience at Salon West Seminole. The salon is adorable and everyone was super friendly. Leslie cut my hair and did a really thorough consultation. I left with exactly what I wanted and will definitely be going back. The prices are also reasonable!

So it might seem a little bit weird writing a review for this place since I’m a guy and since I didn’t personally experience any of their services at their salon. But I am writing this for my girlfriend who I dropped off at the salon.
After searching on Unilocal for the best salon in Tampa I found salon west. I called and made a reservation for my girlfriend on Saturday July 18^th. I booked a manicure, pedicure and hair styling.
On the morning of the 18^th I tricked her into running errands with me with the actual disguise of bringing her to the salon. Once in the salon that’s when I told her I made the appointment for her to be pampered and I would be back to pick her up a few hours later. She was so happy she started to tear up and the girls that work there were so supportive and caring. She loved loved loved how nice they were with her. She absolutely adored her hair and nails. She said everything was amazing. I really appreciate how nice they were to her and how they kept her busy for 3 hours while I ran around setting everything up for our date night. And yes to the girls who kept telling her I was going to propose, I did and she said yes! She loved how nice they were she even wanted to go back the next day to show them the ring but the salon was closed before our flight back to Montréal.

I was home for a week and decided to check out this local place after reading the reviews on Unilocal.
I was greeted by friendly front desk attendants and then met my stylist, Crystal. She gave me a tour of the salon and offered me a beverage. Crystal did a short consultation and then got to work giving me a great cut and highlights. Just what I needed.
Someone called the next day to check in on my service, too. That was a nice touch.

Tara is a phenomenal stylist. I have been going here since Jan. and Tara always does my hair perfectly. She is very professional and seems to intuitively know when I want to change my style up a little bit. Cannot say enough good things about this salon.

I decided to check Amy out after she have my aunt a great haircut. I was not disappointed!
First, I should say that the salon is amazing. It is a real gem in a remote part of the Pinellas area. I was surprised to see such an upscale salon in Seminole.
They offer you a drink and a tour of the salon when you first arrive. After you have relaxed, you are taken to get your service done.
Amy was very professional and talked to me about how I styled my hair and my routine. She definitely listened when I told her I don’t like doing my own hair, and made recommendations for an appropriate hairstyle.
She did a precision haircut and styled it wonderfully.

Madison was great. I have not cut my hair in months and it’s the first time I had my hair this long in years so I didn’t really know what to ask for. I didn’t have to say much and she knew just how to cut it to make me satisfied. I had medium to long hair and asked that she not take too much off but to give it more shape and she did just that.
They have great customer service in that they checked in with me to make sure I was satisfied and I got a thank you card in the mail a few days later. I also love that they use pureology products. She showed me how she used each one so if I wanted to buy it I knew how to use it at home. Definitely going back.

Oh my gosh! BEST service ever in a salon! And if you check my check ins or reviews you will see I visit lots! I am not kidding in the least bit about the service! Our visit started with a friendly front desk professional showing us around– she took us on a tour! So cool! Then offered us sangria (NUM!) what a special treat! Then my friend and I met two adorable, kind, and incredibly talented service providers. My actual service from the massage, callus treatment, cuticle work, trimming, and polishing was PERFECT. Seriously it was the best pedicure I have ever had! Wow! So much fun! Thank you for everything and please pass this on to the team. I appreciate this wonderful experience!

WONDERFULLY FRIENDLY AND INVITING STAFF. I’ve always dreaded going to salons because often you get the snooty attitude. The people at Salon West were very friendly, pleasant, engaged you in conversation and knowledgeable. Someone greeted you immediately when you came in and left. The prices are fair and the spa and hair services are exceptional. I don’t do spa visits much, but will be back to see my favorite gal Kaylie again.

I was in desperate need of a hair makeover and Shareen delivered. I’m hesitant to go to salons because of snarky attitudes and too cool for school stylists but salon west wasn’t like that at all. In particular Shareen, she took the time to listen to me, check out my hair type and give me a look that was awesome and manageable. Amazing experience, I’ve already booked my next appointment and glad to have found a stylist that clicks.

Salon West is the best salon in the area. Their staff is very talented and take pride in what they do. I’ve been coming to Noelle for years, she is an amazing stylist and a wonderful person. I highly recommend her for a sassy haircut or color!

YES!!! I have finally found my Stylelist. Cassandra is outstanding! Some times it’s hard to build a rapport with the stylelist. I’ve been to the other Salon West locations in the area and Cassandra is my go to person from now on. I’m not gonna dog the other locations because they are good as well but this location obviously stands out above the others. For one, the place was packed but not too packed. And I greatly appreciate them seeing me the day I called for an appointment.
Also my Wife had her hair done with color here at the Walsingham location last week and her hair looked great!
As for what services Salon West offers, they are top notch. I’m just a dude but I can imagine how they would pamper the ladies.

Salon West is the premier salon in Pinellas County. It’s where you go when you want to feel welcome, pampered, with the best professionals for any service you may desire. I’ve been going there for years, and I have to say that no other salon comes close when it comes to consistency and results. I’ve been with Heather forever and going in is always a treat for me.
Although the salons themselves are very posh and lovely, this is not a snob salon. Every time I come in, I am greeting by a smiling face and offered something to drink. The staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming. This salon is for anybody who desires superior service and professionalism without the snob factor.
As to the services themselves… I LOVE getting my hair done there. Heather is a top notch stylist. Her expertise in color is amazing, the results always look fantastic. The cuts are perfect, but they have no problem if something is not to your liking… for instance if you want to come right in again to say, adjust a bang length, this is not a problem, they are happy to make it right.
I’ve also had terrific massages, facials, and pedicures there. Everyone is a real pleasure to deal with, and I can only attribute this to their training method and work ethic. When you come in here, these people know what they are doing.
It’s an easy decision. Go, relax, enjoy the atmosphere and friendliness, let the Salon West staff works it’s magic, and voila, you leave gorgeous. What’s not to love? 5 Stars!
