It an ok place. There is no protein served on the salad bar. You might get lucky and find some in one of there 8 soups. Other than that they have 2 kinds of pizza and a so so potato bar.

I have been wanting to come try this place, so my 12 year old daughter and I went in. I did have a coupon ready that they send me via email. We started with a plate from the salad bar. we each built ours different and just loved our salad. We tried the Kettle Chili was delicious and Chicken Pot Pie. We will definitely be back for the Chicken Pot Pie. Hopefully that’s something there the have on the regular or I may need to call ahead to see if it’s on the menu! We tried the pasta it was good but a little cold not sure why? We had the muffins and of course soft serve ice cream always a favorite. For our beverage we went with the Strawberry Lemonade and Tropical Green Tea. Yummy!

This sweet tomato location has a friendly staff and very good food. We stop at least once a week and enjoyed a meal last night. Service was great and you can’t go wrong at this spot!

(ST’s food will always get 5 stars from me for being fresh and original. This 2-star review is based solely on this location alone. I live in St. Pete with no ST close to me. This ST location is always such a jam-packed, chaotic, circus of a line-waiting and noisy«adventure,» that my family just prefers to make the drive and dine at the ST in Palm Harbor…) I’m a proud carnivore and the nearly-meatless Sweet Tomatoes may still be my favorite chain restaurant in our area! It is a bit pricey for a soup/salad bar/bakery buffet, but I think it is well worth it for the quality and selection. Check your Sunday paper ads for a coupon. It helps a bunch. The pre-assembled salad creations are great and the make-your-own salad selection is likely the most expansive you’ve ever seen. I would eat a salad like this every day if I had enough energy to prep the ingredients. But it is their Yankee Clipper clam chowder that keeps me coming back, over and over. It is a magical, creamy delight, with lots of clams and french-fry-sized pieces of potato. I like to grab a piece or two of their great parmesan focaccia to DIP(when nobody is looking, of course!). Their chicken noodle soup is also very well done, with giant pieces of shredded chicken and chunky, homestyle noodles. The bakery offerings are always excellent. The cornbread and blueberry muffins definitely earned their«black belts,» and could compete and win with any bakery dojo! My only food complaint? Eh… The pasta? Seems to be just cooked noodles, tossed in a sauce in a wok? For shame! REAL macaroni and cheese is born from an oven! You know, with the cheesy and CRUSTY top? You start doing that here and you will win over many more fans! I will always love ST and am hoping they will finally open a location in St. Pete! Until then I will avoid the never-ending chaos here and drive a bit more North!

Been coming here for more than six years, but always have difficulty writing a review. I gave them 4 stars, not because the food is the greatest — but because they succeed at what they set out to do. Plentiful fresh salad, with an extensive list of fresh toppings and dressings(although no meat toppings). Good selection of breads, although sometimes stale and dry from sitting out to long. Multiple soups, basically good, but they all need more seasoning. The pasta leaves much to be desired. Bland, bland, bland. Won’t win any culinary awards, but if you want a great salad this is the place.

It’s a bit expensive for a salad bar and soup, all you can eat buffet or not. All the food was fine and the cashier was very pleasant. This is a good place for lunch or dinner. We got in and got out right away. The highlight of lunch was the fresh strawberry lemonade.

The kids love this place as do the adults. We go here regularly for a late Sunday lunch or dinner during the week. It’s best to have a couple when going as you can feed a family of four for 25 dollars. The food is ok overall but extremely fresh. You have to get over everyone touching the utensils but other than that a good place for a healthy option. We enjoy the variety and freshness of the food here. They always have themes and that changes up some of the salads and soups which is always a nice treat.

Priced way to high for the standard of food. Salad looked like it had been there for hours the soups looked overcooked never coming back.

First of all, no one gets 5 stars, so 4 is my tops. My first impression as opposed to many of the other sweet tomatoes I have visited, is that it looks very well lit, clean, open, & waitresses did not Hounddog us. There were many more healthy choices that I’ve not seen before at these restaurants, even great sugar-free dessert options. Some highlights for me were the berry barley curry, the citrus bok choy coleslaw, in the tapioca pudding was phenomenal

I didn’t know what to expect since I am not from Tampa. The description on Unilocal sells better than what it is. It is a giant salad bar with an addition of a bunch of buffet-style unhealthy options. Imagine a Ponderosa with lettuce.

A tad pricey(less so if you stick with water for your beverage), but yummy. Fairly good salad bar selections and other options(bread items, good desserts, LOTS of soups, baked potato bar, etc) I think it would be impossible to come here and not leave stuffed. Really something for everyone. Great for when you need to eat right away and don’t want to wait for food prep.

When this carnivore wants a little break from all the departed animals that I eat. This is my goto place graze. I always think that I’ll be eating healthier here, but with all the different add ons to my huge salad I’m sure I’m not. I rarely partake in the pastas that they make and instead grab a bowl of clam chowder that has a good flavor especially after I put in some bacon pieces. A few pieces of pizza and we’re good for the night. The prices do seem to creep up over the years, but if you watch for the coupons in the papers it’s still a pretty good value. If you can get there before 5:00pm you get more of a discount too. Over all it’s a decent meal minus the meat!

This place is an absolute joke. We only come once a year because the kids want to go. Seriously what can you expect from a place like this? Salad is just about the only thing edible for an adult with any idea what good food tastes like. I call this the California version of Hometown Buffet. I give it 2 stars just for not getting ill.

Th wow I don’t know what to say! Ok so I’m not a fan of all you can eat places. But this… this is good. It’s soup/salad/pasta and baked potatoes. They have your basics when it comes to build your own salad with a huge selection of toppings. But they also have specialtiy salads-Chicken Wonton Happiness is a chinese salad with a tangy sweet dressing… that is well happiness. They also rotate salads based on the season and have theme months which is super cool, so it’s not always the same. They have a variet of soups to pick from. About 8. I always go for the chicken and noodle. I’m boring sometimes, but this is comfort in a bowl and I don’t care if I’m in Florida and it’s 90 degrees outside I will eat a bowl like nobody’s business. The chicken is super tender and is pletny! The noodles are big. There is also an array of pastas from mac and cheese to alfredo. You can build your own baked potato-regular or sweet is on hand. Mini muffins and breads to accompany. The oat topped mini muffins are my favorite. They have fruit on the inside. Also have fresh fruit and an ice cream machine. They do have an email club that sends coupons for discounted prices. Place is clean, always busy and is a must stop when in the area as we don’t have any near home. I always take any new people with me here and they love it.

This is a nice location, I must say. The atmosphere is very clean and open. The staff is very friendly and attentive to clearing dishes and tables from the dining area without being bothersome. Often they will chat pleasantly with yo has you eat or walk the floor. The food is decent, for a buffet style eatery. The ingredients are fresh, for the most part. One does pay for this, however, and this will be reflected in the bill. It could be argued that it’s all-you-can-eat, but the prices are still a bit high for what you get. Do try the strawberry lemonade, the fresh strawberries are a nice touch. Also the tomato, cauliflower, and split pea potato barley soups are great. So far, all of the available salads are excellent. Vegetarians are well take care of as items are listed when they are friendly to those diet restrictions.

The salad bar was good! … That’s about it. Super pricy for salad, the rest of the food wasn’t that great. Brandon and I made some awesome salads and then tried to get some other food a couple different times and noting was really outstanding. The soup either had nothing in it or giant chunks of chicken that were really chewy. Even the desert wasn’t very good, everything we really plane tasting. Wasn’t too impressed but if I ever get a craving for a salad I might go back.

Decided to stop in for mass quantities of salad. One of the nice things about this location is that it is very clean and with buffets that’s a big plus! Their food is very consistent. As odd as it seems, I judge salad bars by the crunchiness of their croutons and theirs are crunchy. We used to get the iced tea but it was rather weak and flavorless however, we soon discovered the fresh squeezed lemonade with actual lemon pulp. It will make you pucker! The only challenge is the traffic madness of Largo Mall, it is only for the most motivated restaurant goers!
