This place is the best Indian food you’ll get around here. The service is great every one is so friendly and helpful!!! It is now the only place I go to for Indian.

This restaurant is in Largo, FL and we were here for dinner after a day at the beach. The Paneer Makhani was decent, the tikka masala was great and the garlic naan was delicious. We did not like the papri chaat which was not really a papri chaat if you’ve had one in India. If you like spicy food, make sure to ask for ‘regular’ indian spice level, you’d love it. The service was good as well.

Can’t believe I finally found a true desi punjabi style restaurant in St Petersburg area. Mashallah the people really know how to cook. And they volunteered to tell me the chicken isn’t hand cut. Most the restaurants down here I have to ask, and they still argue about it. Will bring my entire family, inshAllah

The food here is delicious! The service was quick and the was delivered to the table swiftly. They don’t have fountain beverages, only cans however they serve alcohol. The food is reasonable priced.

Great variety on their lunch Buffet today. Butter Chicken, Beef Vindaloo, Chicken Di Piaza, Butter Chicken, Dal Makhani, Cabbage Masala and many more. Naan bread was excellent and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I love supporting the local restaurants especially Indian food which is one of my absolute favorites.

Found it Unilocal!Started with the Samosa Chaat, very good! Then shared chicken tikka Malala and vegetable korma, also very good. Wait staff were very nice and attentive. I highly recommend Taste of Punjab. We’ll be back often.

This place is great! Perhaps could use a little more atmosphere, but the food and the service are always perfect! My «go to» for North Indian fare.

Amazing place. Mango lassi– 5 stars Chai tea– 5 stars. It is creamy. Naan– 5 stars Garlic naan– 5 stars Peshaveri naan– 4 stars. Is good. However instead of being stuffed they should put the nuts on top and with more pistachio will be better. Paneer naan– 3 stars. It was not my cup of tea. Chicken tikka masala– 5 stars. It has very creamy sauce. First time I had this was at a 5 star restaurant in England. It was a delight. The one served at Punjab has the same tasteful experience. Tandoori chicken– 4 stars. Is good but prefer tikka masala. This is a mom/pop place and we love it. My daughter is a picky eater and she likes the tikka masala. We have visited 6 other Indian restaurants and this is for us the best one in the Tampa Bay Area.

Hands down the best Indian food in the area! The staff is great and the restaurant is very cozy. Favorite dishes include the methi chicken, chicken tikka masala, and samosas.

Friendly staff. Korma was good. Could’ve used more almond. But, I love that it’s not cashews. And, it’s not watered down like at some other places. The potatoes in the veggie samosas could use more spices. The mint chutney tasted like sugar was in it. I don’t like it sweet. And, the naan seemed to be buttered. I don’t like butter. Overall good. I’ll probably be back.

One of the best restaurants in Largo. The food here is always really delicious and feels like something cooked by someone who loves cooking and eating. We always have a great experience. This is really comfort food for anyone whether or not you grew up eating Indian. I believe the restaurant is family run and you can really sense they take pride in the business. Do yourself a favor and stop by for the lunch buffet to get an opportunity to try a variety dishes(especially if you’re not familiar with Indian cuisine) 10⁄10 love it

This may shock most people who know me, but I’ve actually not experienced much in the way of Indian food. But, when my friend suggested it last night, I had to say yes! What better time than now to try? At first, we were a little hesitant since this place resides in a strip mall with barred windows and the like. No fear, the inside is inviting and exotic. We ordered the sampler appetizer and got a whole bunch of fried delicacies, then the mixed grill of every meat they make. They were out of the lamb(sadface). The menu is overwhelming, so we asked what was popular. Chicken Tikka Masala it was! Pretty good and we’d order again. The free starter is a really cool take on salsa and chips, only with a pickled tomato chutney and crackers made out of lentil.

Look no further. This is the best Indian food in Pinellas County. The buffet is consistently head and turban above all rivals. I make a point of going to every new Indian restaurant just to see if it will pass the«Punjab Challenge», but none has come close. I’ve seen many horrors on my journey! The owners are an absolute delight, and the service is always spot-on…The buffet is a thing of beauty with delicious vegetarian options every time. If you decide to go off the menu instead, it’s also as good as it gets. Everything is superb!

Are you craving something really really flavorful AND very very spicy? Get the Lamb Vindaloo… it will blow your socks off. Lamb meat is tender and there’s plenty of it. A few potatoes. Everyone’s tolerance to spiciness is varied so here’s my comparison: Heat level is about Scotch Bonnet or Habanero Peppers. Lovely staff… I have yet to visit the restaurant during lunch time. They are closed every Tuesday. Lunch Buffet is everyday except Sunday.

Fantastic service and incredible food. Good size portions too. The restaurant is located in a very undesirable plaza that looks trashy and unkept but once you walk through the doors, you will forget what you saw moments before. The restraunt is very clean, classy, and elegantly decorated. I would recommend eating here to all my friends and family.

Stopped by this place for an early dinner on a Saturday because we had been craving Indian food for months and broke down after I spotted this place with a «grand opening» sign the week before. Glad we checked it out. I ordered the tomato soup(I crave this often) which is basically tomato soup with spicy Indian spices. It was incredible. Me and my gf were fighting over it. I ordered the beef saag which was super tender like brisket. Girlfriend ordered the butter chicken she loved it. She even uttered the phrase«this is the best naan I’ve ever had». We will be back.
