Rude beyond belief without much to back it up. Clearly have not been back to France in quite a while, but attitude beyond. The way the owner spoke to a vendor was embarrassing… And worst customer service. Products are sub-par and it is obvious their chandeliers are just suffering for an offer. Not a place I will visit again. Great other boutiques on the street however!

Terrible customer service! I asked for some tissue in my bag and was informed since they put it in a box with a ribbon I could not have any tissue. Customers could only have tissue in a bag if there was no box. I have been a customer for many years but no more! Really??? So stupid

When you wish you could frequently travel to France and bring back authentic table linens and artisan gifts — then shopping at Coquelicot is closest you can come to that dream right in Larkspur and San Anselmo! Like slipping into a shop on a French street with your woven basket on your arm, you will find Nuria, Norm, Adrianna and their lovely mother will welcome you into a warm, French ambiance. Nuria and Norm bring back a gorgeous array of new and antique French finds from their buying trips such as stunning chandeliers and café curios. They also stock affordable items such as candles, and trays that ‘feel’ French, even if they are from other sources. I can always find a unique gift, and usually cannot resist buying a gorgeous candle holder, a beautiful scarf or another French tablecloth for myself! C’est formidable!!!

A shame that this little bit of Provence brings with it the archetypal Parisian snottiness. Seriously though — my friend brought in a very overpriced salad bowl that had been promoted as «unbreakable» — which was broken. Through normal use. The very serious and unsympathetic salesperson was fine with saying«non» and with no recourse other to answer our own question as to an appropriate glue, delivered her negative reaction w straight callousness. No human connection here. She did offer to sell us another, breakable ceramic bowl, however. «Happy Holidays!» She said, as we left this little piece of France behind…

We visited the new Coquelicot in San Anselmo this last weekend, and while chatting with the owner we realized that: 1) We’ve been shopping at various Coquelicots(Fairfax, Larkspur, and now San Anselmo) for 16 or 17 years. 2) We registered with them for our wedding 14 years ago, but now that we have kids we’ve gone from shopping for ceramics and linens to plastic ware. Ah, how priorities change over the years. Ironically we just came back from Paris and London, where we had unsuccessfully searched for nice plastic ware(seriously, it was one of our goals; sad I know). Our second week back home and we find exactly what we’re looking for at Coquelicot. Our home is full of their ceramics and linens; we’ve always loved the beauty and quality of their products. And visiting them always reminds me of shopping in France; they greet you warmly and then leave you alone, but are always available to lend their considerable expertise and knowledge. The owner and her husband spend a lot of time in France, and in addition to knowing the products and in some cases the artisans who create them, it’s also fun to compare travel and cultural notes with them. And we love supporting a local business. Here’s to another 16 years as a loyal customer!

This charming shop is akin to taking a trip to Provence where you receive a visual journey of unique and exquisite table linens, candles, soaps, fragrances, cocktail napkins, even chandeliers, vases, faux flowers, porcelain objects, colorful aprons and too many other offerings to mention. The owners are delightful and helpful. Whenever I need a quick«pick-me-up» and want to avoid the calories of Emporio Rulli across the street, I take a trip to Coquelicot.

I love to stop in a for a «loveliness» hit — always something fresh and unexpected. I have bought so many things here that adorn my home and I love each and every one of them. I also found some terribly chic Parisian-made necklaces that I have gotten at least 100 compliments on — they are so unique that people literraly stop me on the street to ask me about them. I can’t get there often as I live in the East Bay but it’s nice to check in periodically and get a beauty rush.

This is one of those places where you wander in to feed your soul. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous, things. Amazing tablecloths, the best selection of oilcloths around, and I have to say, super affordable. Best of all, if you want, you can always hear the amazing story behind your purchase. And while the housewares are stunning and probably the big draw, the owner has exquisite taste in jewelry and accessories– some of my favorite scarves have come Coquelicot. And their Fleur De Sel? It’s like my new food group.

I agree with the person in the last review, the customer service in this business is non exsistent. Over the years I must of spent a thousand dollars at this store. Now I ask to exchange one table cloth for another and it is no way Jose you did not bring it back within 10 days. I will never shop here again. I found most of these table cloths on the internet for half the price and you can even send them back!!!

I finally walked into this little shop in historic Larkspur after a beautiful old-fashioned water jug in the window(priced at $ 32) pulled me into the store. I hadn’t walked in because I thought it would be too expensive and too beautiful. The latter is the truth. The store has gorgeous things — all affordable and French! Very French in the best way possible. Quilts, linens, vintage treasures and home décor fit to stage any magazine — all unbelievably affordable(cheaper than Crate & Barrel prices) It is family-run and very friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to visit again. You should too. It’s worth the 20 minute ride from San Francisco.

On my way to SF for shopping, going back to the lot, when out of the corner of my eye, Coquelicot. Great Provencal cloths and oversized napkins. a bit pricey, but all in all a great collection in a very cute store.

I like to dream of the day when I will own my own place — and can do it up right. Real cottage style, with bright vivid turquoises, glowing yellows, and no end of charm. I used to be so consumed by this idea — that I have a slew of shabby chic/cottage style interior design books lining my shelves. Barely looked at. Just waiting patiently for my dream to eventually become a reality. If I had a ton of darling space to decorate — Coquelicot would be a fun stop to stock up on easy to clean beautiful french inspired table-cloths, vivid colored pottery, classy silverware, adorable napkins and more. The moment you walk inside Coquelicot you can’t help but be inspired by the owner’s love of color and lovely patterns. A unique store that was made for cottage decorating dreamers like myself.

Great selection of Provence-style oilcloths(coated tablecloths) with beautiful patterns, real tablecloth feel, but wipe clean. Matching napkins as well.

I’m such a sucker for signage. When I see a cute sign(like Coquelicot has above their door) I have to go in. I’m like one of the kids in Hamelin if the Pied Piper had attractive fonts. Anyway… I stopped in here this weekend and was impressed by their collection of vintagey French chandeliers. Very chic and unique. My mom was tres impressed with their small bouquets of lavender that actually came from Provence. The two women who worked here were very personable.

This store has some stunningly beautiful stuff, that said she charges too much for most of it. Luckly I was there during the sale and able to get a nice table cloth runner for $ 25.22 which is like 60% off it’s normal price. The stuff is very French oriented so if you don’t like florals I wouldn’t shop here.

This is a delightful store. It sells products from Provence in France and specializes in dishware and table ware such as napkins and table cloths. I love to get presents from this shop and it is the one shop my husband absolutely loves to shop in. I can usually count on great gifts from here for birthdays and Christmas. This year I got two wonderful plates and a gorgeous bowl and six red water glasses with a fleur de lis on them. This shop has items you will not find in other stores selling items from Provence. They also have great soaps, some books about or concerning Provence. They have a few items of jewelry from Paris and some really clever little handbags. In the first weekend of May every year they have a wonderful yard sale. It opens at 8 am and I have gone there at 8 and there is already a good sized line. Go with a friend who can hop across the street and get pastries and coffees to go from Rulli and enjoy the buzz. I also have gone later in the day with no lines, and found things I wanted although the large earthenware items usually are gone fast. Great Store, Nice owners and wonderful selection. Ask for your item to be gift wrapped. It will be done with great ribbons and some little coquelicots(a poppy like flower that grows all over France in the springtime)
