Visited twice for work and ordered one«healthy» option each time: the Greek yogurt jar and the parfait. Since I usually fix these types of breakfasts myself at home, they seem exorbitantly expensive to order here, but are quite top notch. Both have a nice crunch — very generous amount of fruit/nuts/granola in each serving. Coffee’s also quite good. Curious to try to quiche if I return!

Great pastries. Love the croissants and cinnamon squares. Lovely lattes in nice wide mugs. Breakfast sandwich was satisfying but roast turkey sandwich was a little plain. Oh well, can’t have everything! Gets crowded on Sunday. Would definitely go back when I’m in the area.

4 Stars because it’s a nice place to sit outside and read a book. I also like the soup and salad combo.

I come here ALLTHETIME. Here, and the one on Magnolia, as they are both just 5 minutes from my home. I took one star off just because they forgot my coffee order at this location and looked confused when I went up asking for it. But no harm done, they immediately made me one after showing them my receipt. The coffee is the best, no argument. Try their mocha on a nice gloomy/rainy day, it’ll make you feel rich inside! Also… their almond croissants… oh…my…god…

Wonderful customer service; everyone is so kind and happy that is working there! Great food and I love the ambience of the outside patio area.

I went here for the first time with a friend. The bear claw wasn’t a bear claw. It had no almond paste in the middle. It was basically a croissant with almonds on top. That is not a bear claw despite what the call it.

This is the best location out of this chain. The smells of expresso and fresh baked bread flutter in the air once one walks in. The line may be long at times but it moves quick. I love their spicy chai and croissants. I chose a ham and cheese croissant this time. While one orders, one can see the bakers at their craft right behind the scene. Whether you like bread, muffins, scones, or croissants sweet, savory, or somewhere in between with something caffeinated this place hits that spot.

Cute little bakery with delicious lunch items on the menu. Great coffee and cozy ambiance. They have plenty of seating outside if you bring your pooch along. Everything seems fresh. Lines can get long but things move pretty quickly and I feel like most people grab and go rather than sit. Great soups!

Excellent baked goods, especially their croissants, and an attractive location are plusses, and if you are on the run and just getting a couple of things to go, it’s not a bad experience. There are long lines, however, and the lines might be too long at rush times to wait. The seating is mediocre, and nothing says«hurry up and finish» more than minimal stools and counters. Not a good place to meet someone for business. So I give high marks for the actual goods, but low for convenience and comfort. Staff is clever and competent, but clearly pushed to their limits with the high traffic that comes in, so waiting for an espresso drink can demolish your commute plans.

Ever since Rustic Bakery opened, they have never failed to disappoint me. The beautiful and freshly baked pastries are magnificent and the sandwiches are quite delicious as well. Of course Marin’s pricing is apparent but the quality of the food is worth it. The staff is usually friendly(less so in the morning) and the service is good too. I had a ham and Marin French Brie sandwich and it was delicious as usual. Rustic’s lattes are also notable. Overall, a great(but expensive) café in Larkspur. Note: sometimes it can get windy if you are eating outside so bring a coat or jacket.

I received a gift certificate in November accompanied with(2) post cards offering(3) appetizers and a glass of wine for $ 14. It offered a free appetizer with a wine bar special if you brought in the post card. The gal at the counter knew nothing about it, and the manager told the counter gal to tell me that that offer had not been available for 1.5 years. Really? I showed the receipt for the gift certificate dated November 2015. I do not think that my friend kept the post cards for a year, and then gave them to me when she bought the gift certificate while she was in the middle of her overseas move. Does the manager even realize their response is like telling I am dishonest. Then they graciously indicated that they would however accept my Rustic Bakery & Café gift card as payment. How generous! And, no, there was no expiration date on the post card. Dinner and beers at Marin Brew Pub was excellent and saved the evening.

I wanted to give a shout out to the awesome staff that work at this Rustic Bakery. The many people that helped our party today were AWESOME! One example, I was very indecisive about what to order and they gave great suggestions. I think the food is great too. You can’t go wrong with anything from the pastry area. And I like the soups, salads, and sandwiches. The only reason to take away a star or two is the rude clientele, but the business can’t really help that can they? See you next time!

THEFOODISGRRREAT. A bit overpriced, but overall great. The location is very gorgeous and serene and the decorations are very modern and sleek. PS. Their Chinese chicken salad is A+!

Really disappointing… first of all it was chaotic . Than the coffee server was rude, and lastly the food was tasteless, the grilled cheese had no taste, the salad that came with it was pretty good. The breakfast panini had no taste and the bread pudding was just lam. Will not come back again.

Umm… I just don’t get the big attraction to this place. Either I am missing something(definitely possible) or this place is just another Marin whatever.

Recently enjoyed the chickpea avocado vegetarian sandwich. Great coffee. Also had a melt and salad that I enjoyed. Beautiful outdoor seating overlooking the Ferry building in one direction and Mt. Tamalpais in the other.

I came in on a Saturday morning and it was pretty busy. The line was to the door but the service and line were moving super fast. The layout of the place was a mix of rustic and modern. Their menu was posted clearly and they had daily specials, as well as kid’s menus. I ordered the quiche of the day. I have to say, it was probably one of the best and fluffiest quiches, I’ve ever had. The egg filling literally melts in your mouth. It’s like a soft scrambled egg in the quiche. My friend bough the breakfast panini. It was pretty good. The bread was toasted to perfection! If you buy coffee, they brew stumptown coffee and they offer unlimited refills! It was my first time here and I would probably stop by again if ever I’m in the area. :)

Everything here looks amazing! They sell a variety of pastries, sandwiches, soups, etc. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the service is super friendly. It’s a great place to grab healthy food while waiting for the ferry. I got the breakfast panini($ 8) which had scrambled eggs, ham, and cheese. It was soo delicious and savory! The serving size is a little small so it might not fill you up if you’re hungry. My boyfriend got the asian chicken salad($ 12) which was just as good.

Damn good breakfast Panini! Probably the best flat press I’ve ever had. The combination of ham, provolone & gruyère cheeses and fluffy scrambled eggs on that flat pressed bread was quite phenomenal. I’m usually not a fan of fluffy eggs, but after eating Rustic’s breakfast sandwich, I thinking that I’m becoming a fan. I also tried some of my dining companion’s quiche, which was better than what I was coming to expect. Needing to pick up lunch for the road ahead, I bought a Saigon Sandwich for later in the day. It held up well a few hours later, when I opened up what is essentially a chicken bahn mi. The meat was still tender, the bread was legit and the all fixings were on point. The coffee selection is predominantly Stumptown. Safe to say, I’d hit Rustic Bakery again If I’m ever back in the San Quentin area.

The peanut butter brownies are insanely good. And they’re so big that we usually buy one and split a half a portion while bringing the rest home. The coffee is also extremely good. I think Rustic Bakery must use really good, fresh milk because the decaf latte is as good as or better than a regular latte almost anywhere else. Sandwiches are fine. A little pricey, but they do the trick. Seating is mostly outdoors, which is good if you want to bring a dog. And as a plus, on weekends you can entertain yourself by marveling at the different hues of linen worn by the patrons of «Marin Country Mart,» previously known by the less pretentious«Larkspur Landing.»(Seriously, it’s like every weekend day is «dress like a parody of a Marinite» costume party).
