I love Farley’s! I hear a lot of bad things about the service all the time, but have never experienced it myself. I usually go during lunch time(maybe the staff for lunch and dinner is different?) I enjoy sitting on the patio during the nice weather days. I recommend the chips & queso and their pizzas. I love the food! The service on the other hand, may be very difference at night.

Staying at Hotel Encanto across the street. Had the munchies at 8pm and this place beckoned with it’s fun appearance and name. Server was nice and attentive. Promptly greeted after we sat ourselves. All ages comingled on a Monday night. Interestingly, most of the patrons are men. Looks like alot of them are here for some serious bro time over some beers. Ordered chips and salsa appetizer. It was ok, B. The picante aspect of the cheese sauce was overwhelmed by the taste of processed cheese. Salsa had a slightly charred or smokey taste and its hot kick sneaks up on you. Not bad, just not on the top of my salsa and chips list. I had the green chili chicken sandwich with added spicy mustard. It was good and so were the fries. The sesame seed bun was delish. We also has the chicken fajita salad which was good. Definitely would go again when staying again in Las Cruces.

Not great but not bad either… I feel it has improved a bit since our last visit. Service is spotty, even if the restaurant is not busy the servers seem to be «in the weeds.» On the plus they have a ton of TVs to pick up the games.

Met a former classmate that I had not seen in over 39 years at Farley’s. I personally had never been to it since we arrived in Las Cruces less than a year ago but it sounded perfect to both my friend and myself. We both had the Bbq Brisket Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. Outstanding! After relaxing for a few waitress asked us if we wanted dessert and we decided to try some. My friend had the brownie with a scoop of ice cream, I had the peach cobbler(as recommended by the waitress). Both were outstanding and I would personally highly recommend the peach cobbler! It’s worth it! We’re planning to meet again in 6 months and Farley’s is the agreed meeting place. Go and try it, great food, great atmosphere, clean and very good staff!

Hungry and thirsty for a cold drink. Walked across the street bypassing the hotel restaurants for a better meal and drink option. I walked in was greeted by the host at the podium waved him off letting him know I was b-lining it straight for the bar. He nodded. Sat at the bar and waited, and waited and waited. Made eye contact with the bartender then he looked away and I waited. Finally I walked out back to the hotel had some mediocre Mexican food and a great 14 year scotch for desert. I learned later that the owner that stood the place up and the baron down the road passed away and ever since this place has been down hill. My advice: skip it!

Dropped into Farley’s based on other reviews. Parking lot was full so I thought I was onto something. Took a seat at the bar and waited for the bartender. And waited. And waited. He was busy making drinks for the wait staff so I understood. However, this became a theme. I had to get the bartender’s attention in order to get another drink. As far as the food… ordered a pizza and was slightly disappointed. Based on menu description, I was expecting the pizza to be crispy and not doughy. While the crust was crispy, the rest of the pizza was doughy and saggy and somewhat difficult to eat. However, the Ingredients were excellent and I would order again with instructions to «crispify» the entire pizza.

The food is pretty good and the atmosphere Is fun, they have an arcade and pool tables, but all of the cocktails are made from pre-prepared mixers, not somewhere I’d go exclusively for drinking.

This place seems to have improved since the last time I was there. I really like the cobb salad, which comes with a massive cup of ranch dressing. This is a good place to play trivia as well. The service is still hit or miss, but it’s really not bad. It’s a tough place to be gluten-free though — other than the salad, I’m not sure there’s too much more on the menu(lots of sandwiches, pizzas and fried things.) If you can eat gluten, I used to really like the green chile wontons!

Waiter kept messing up our orders. Enchiladas were nothing but cheese and were not good at all, and to top it off, they spread the enchilada sauce on top of the steak! Was not expecting that!

Walked in at about 6:45. Not a lot of customers, probably 25% full. We were taken quickly to a table and told«Jordan will be your server tonight». OK, fine. About 3 minutes later, a guy walked by and(literally) dropped 4 sets of utensils on the table and said«Jordan will be right with you». After about 10 more minutes watching 3 employees horsing around by the soft drink machine while no one even took our drink orders, we left. I still don’t know who Jordan is, but s/he needs to get on the ball or get fired. Applebee’s was good, though.

Awesome burgers. Stopped in for lunch and service was tops. Burgers were big and the buns toasted just right. Good fries. Had to use plenty of napkins. Good place to get your grease off. Avoid if your dieting. Nothing low cal here. Just darn good food.

Great bar, lots of fun things to do and good beer. Service is great, food is somewhat uninspired but always good. They get 3 stars because they just changed their menu and their prices jumped up. If you want a fun atmosphere that you are willing to pay more for, this is your place!

Great place to come to! Stopping in Las Cruces on the way to Palm Springs on a road trip. Live in Houston, the meca of restaurants, and consider myself a food snob. Stopped her because if the reviews so here’s mine; 1st visit: had the fried chicken salad with honey mustard dressing, a flat bread pizza, and a cup of pizole. Salad is enough for 2 with generous amounts of walnuts, boiled eggs, warrm fried chicken pieces, cheese and their homemade drsssing is creamy and delicious. Pozole was good, depending on your liking, it did have alot red chile, and flat bread was great with generous amount of toppings and a nice crispy and tasty flatbeead. 2nd visit: ordered the salad again, but also had the chicken fried steak with jalapeño gravy and bbq platter. The chicken fried steak was delicious, prob the best tasting CFS I’ve had in a long time. Mashed potatoes were heavy on the garlic but good, ribs were good and the platter was delicious. I dont like going to chains when out of town so this was a great place to come. This is a casual place and the satff was great.

Lot’s of screens, lot’s of seating, great bar space. Glass partitions offer sound separation of booth and table seating areas without feeling closed off. Anyway, the Farley’s Favorite Burger was beyond believablely great. Huge, it came wrapped in a paper napkin, I had to ask for a plate to manage getting it into sizeable pieces. There’s no Farley’s where I live, just one more great thing about Las Cruces.

Food was not good at all. House margarita was yummy! Corn tortillas stiff as a board. Got the mixed fajitas and there was hardly any meet and tons of veggies. Some of the veggies were still cold.

Service was nice and friendly. The food on the other hand was not good. I ordered the 12oz ribeye and it was very raw in the center. My buddy ordered the catfish and he said that there was nothing special about it. If you are planning on eating clean this is not the place for you. No veggies, No substitutes even.

This is a frequent stop for me. They have a varied menu and everything I’ve tried is good to great. A good selection of major brand beers(getting into craft beers with a NM brewery would be terrific.) Always get seated right away even when I showed up with a party of ten recently. Always friendly service. Open wifi here. If you have a book companion, the main dining area can be a bit dark but you may find more light in the eastern room.

Lovely experience, even showing up closer to closing. We received friendly, attentive service from Kelsey, who also helped us with information about the area. Food was hot, fresh, and high quality, as we always expect from Farley’s.

Farley’s, take one: On my recent trip to New Mexico, we made the Farley’s bar the first stop on my birthday night extravaganza because our DD assured me they served Irish Car Bombs. We showed up around 11:30pm and the bar/kitchen was already closed, but the bartenders were nice enough to let us down our kick-off Irish Car Bombs and then a shot of whisky before we were on our way to the next bar. Farley’s, take two: This time, a couple days later, in danger need of a filling lunch before I settled on eating my own arm, we arrived again at the familiar(albeit somewhat hazy) Farley’s. We sat against the window in the mostly empty dining area. They were playing soccer on one TV and Sports Center on the other so we had something to look at besides the parking lot. The lunch menu here has all the comfort food options your heart could ever desire. There’s large sections of burgers, dogs, pizzas, sandwiches, full entrees, and even a kid’s menu. While looking over the menu we also got a kick out of the random quotes that are sprinkled throughout(beer — it’s not just for breakfast anymore). Because I was about to starve to death, I quickly landed on my selection — Farley’s fish sandwich(battered dipped white fish on a bun with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and tartar sauce with fries and a kosher pickle). The sandwich was a good size with a big chunk of nice and flaky fish. The tartar sauce was delicious and the bun was light and fluffy. The fries were great and they even came with a default cup of ranch dipping sauce. Love it! Farley’s serves up good American bar food but the best part is how friendly the staff is. Especially considering they reopened the register the accommodate our party of eight people or so just so we could have two quick drinks and be on our merry way!
