This restaurant has a lot to offer: beer on tap, pizza made to order, and Gelato. We had the create your own pizza which allows for up to 9 toppings. We only had two toppings, and they were spread pretty darned thin. I think for the price paid, the pizza was below expectations, but was still very tasty. The Gelato is excellent, but again, rather pricey. Ditto on the beer on tap. In summary, a nice restaurant, but be prepared to spend quite a bit. We spent 50 for a family of 4, and everyone drank water except me — I had one beer. If you have a coupon, then I think I would recommend this restaurant.

Had to eat on a Monday evening. Las Cruces kind of closes up on Mondays and I was exhausted after getting up a 3AM to get on a plane. I’ve learned to go to an open restaurant and expect little. Here was a fine example. Loved the service. Everyone was friendly and funny and helpful and prompt. The food? not so much. I got the tutto whatever pizza. It was cooked competently, but I’ve tasted better store-bought frozen pizzas. They have a few useful beers. I apparently didn’t order one of those. I got the gluten-free one, Redbridge. I didn’t expect anything, so the terrible beer wasn’t factored into this review. But it was terrible. Tasted like Budweiser without the flavor. Gelato was fine. But Luna Rossa’s is excellent and only 15 minutes away.(But not on Monday.) And the store is beat. Tables with big chips, non-working TV’s, that kind of thing. Just not so classy. I dunno. Have to find a better Monday night meal.

Outstanding pizza and salad lunch special. The pizza had a thin, crispy crust from the brick oven, with delicious combinations available on the menu. The Italian salad was fresh and delicious. One employee was chopping fresh vegetables and the other was attentive to our needs. Great atmosphere with tons of TVs.

After being super disappointed in what Las Cruces had to offer for pizza, I’m happy Red Brick Pizza changed my mind. I’m not afraid to admit that I’m a pizza snob, and I won’t put up with greasy, tasteless slices out of sheer restaurant laziness. Pizza is an art, and I’m glad that this place understands that. The pizza is fabulous, and I love that the crust is thin and crispy due to the brick oven style baking. I ordered the sausage and pepper pizza, and it was excellent. Fresh veggies, really good sausage and the right amount of cheese… not drowning the pizza in it. I’ll definitely be back, and I appreciate that this place exists!

We are pizza snobs. We love gourmet pizza, New York, Chicago, and Italian pizza. We were a little skeptical due to the restaurant being empty a little after lunch time. However, the service was quick and the salad and pizzas were surprisingly delicious. We paid $ 30 for a medium Greek salad, medium half veggie and half BBQ chicken pizza, and 4 draft beers. The gelato is another story. You can tell if the gelato is authentic and good based on the color of the pistachio gelato. The pistachio should be a very dark green. Bright pistachio means there are artificial flavors and it’s not authentic. The psycho gelato is almost neon green. I tried a sample and it doesn’t come close to true gelato.

I’ve now tried Red Brick Pizza on several occasions. This last time was a disaster and I doubt I will ever eat there again. There were wrong orders, burnt pizzas, and all manner of bad service going on. I had a feeling when I sat there watching the goings on with other people that we were probably in for trouble too – and we were. I ordered the small greek salad but they sent out a regular garden salad after a very long wait. They took it back and brought me out a greek salad soon after. IThe salad was lacking some of its normal umph as it had just a little feta, a couple olives, and one piece of salami(no peppers – weren’t there supposed to be peppers?). When our pizzas finally came the ingredients on top of the pizza were totally cold, but the crust was hot. Cold veggies on top of warm pizza was totally unappealing. Maybe it was just a bad night for them with lots of new help. I’d also like to see more inspired pizza’s. The menu is rather ho hum, but I’m not a fan of chicken on a pizza.

The service was friendly. They gave me a card… after it’s been punched 10 times I get a free pizza. Sadly that will never happen. Ordered the meat lover’s pizza and was very disappointed. There wasn’t anywhere near enough sauce or cheese on the thin crust of the pizza, and the meat just rolled around on the pizza because there wasn’t enough cheese or sauce for it to stick too! It tasted dry as well. It wasn’t inedible, but it was close. Due to the friendly service I’m giving them 2 stars at least.

My wife, two friends, and I stopped in today for lunch. We were treated to fresh and tasty salads, a Chopped Chinese Chicken and a Chopped Garden, served with their house dressings. Our 3 small pizzas were also very good. Two of the pizzas had their Acai Berry Multigrain Whole Wheat crust and one had their Thin and Crispy crust. The pizzas had ample toppings. Service was good.

I begin my pizza reviews with a caveat… I am a pizza snob. Full-fledged thanks to New York City, Chicago and Europe. Now, when it comes to pizza, «best» is extremely subjective… kinda like our attraction to people of the opposite sex. Some people like thin crust, some won’t eat anything but thick. Some people like traditional toppings, while others prefer crazy combos. Some people like heavy cheese, some like just a touch. Here’s my idea of the perfect pizza… thin to medium crust with just a hint of salt, lots of homemade sauce made with fresh herbs, minimal cheese(preferably fresh mozzarella), and 1 – 3 toppings(not usually meat, but I can be won over by some good pancetta). My daughter and I were just in Las Cruces for a couple of days… but, it became apparent very quickly that our culinary choices were limited, especially if we didn’t want Mexican food. When our innkeeper raved about Ruby Tuesday, I knew it was time to head to Unilocal.It seemed like the perfect time for a pizza taste test… …so Red Brick it was. I had to violate my No Chain Edict again, but this seemed like a good decision considering our limited non-Mexican non-chain options. I thought it was a good idea to adjust my snobbish expectations downward especially when I saw how casual the place was. It’s just barely one step up from a fast food joint. I have to say… it was surprisingly decent. Quite good, in fact. A thicker crust than I prefer and no fresh mozzarella, but the ratio of(tasty) sauce to cheese was balanced. No heavy(greasy) American pizzas here! And, the Caesar salad was more than decent. Maybe it was my lowered expectations… maybe not. But, I kinda liked this place.

We had shied away from Red Brick because we heard it was too expensive… now I know, it’s all relative. We paid $ 32 for three pizzas(one small, one medium, one large) which didn’t seem bad at all. The pizzas were tasty, light and flavorful! Hands down the best part was the gluten free and non-dairy options. Both our kids are allergic to milk so getting pizza is always a hassle. This places has vegan cheese and hit a home run with the kids pizza. Our pizza was outstanding, too! It would be 5-star if they hadn’t messed up our order, which we didn’t realize until we got home with our take-out(tho a pepperoni instead of marghertia pizza ain’t the worst thing.) The staff was helpful and very energetic when I arrived to get my to-go pizzas so I left a tip in the jar. The atmosphere looks fun, so next time we’ll dine in… and there will be a next time.

This review is sort of split. This place specializes in Italian gelato, and pizza. The people who work there are friendly. A pet peeve of mine, though: they had a lot of televisions in here. A LOT. As in, one at every table. Gross. The gelato is very good, and the reason they get 3 stars. The pistachio was great, the stracciatella didn’t quite hit the mark, and the triple-chocolate or whatever it was called, was the best of the flavors I had. I’m impressed they even bothered to attempt stracciatella, even if it wasn’t a home run. The pizza, on the other hand, is just average. Not bad by any means, just nothing special.

The pizza crust is the thin and crunchy type. They have some really nice and different topping options and the staff are incredibly friendly. This is more of an adult type pizza place and one we have enjoyed a number of times.
