Sam’s Club

I am a Sam’s Club member and shop there every month or so. I hate it every time I go. If you need to return something, plan on standing in line for a long time. If you need to ask someone a question, good luck. I used to purchase meat there. I don’t do that anymore. I bought a package of several salmon fillets and they were literally rotting where the skin of one fillet rested on the meat of the fillet beneath it. Obviously the skin side had picked up bacteria somewhere.

Such bad customer service in the Cell phone Department. I cracked my Iphone5 so I was looking to buy a new $ 700-​$ 800 phone and I’m walking around the phones for about 10 min. I was waiting for the lady who was sitting at her desk like a lump on a log to ask me if I needed help. It didn’t happen. I talked to the manager, I was soo upset. I mean come on! you’re not doing anything… Help me geeez.

They do not take Visa unless it’s a debit card… Or American Express… Only Discover for credit cards. How did I miss this somewhere… And how can you take a Visa card as Debit but not as Credit?!

Holy $#!t, Las Cruces Sam’s totally kicks El Paso Sam’s Ass! A. It’s not in El Paso, duh! B. Discount Bulk Liquor. C. Gas is cheaper for some inexplicable reason, and D. High Tech Sample Machine! OMG!
Actually, El Paso now has the Sample Machines, but still.

Always a good selection. We are grateful for their low gasoline prices. Just wished check out lines were not so long.

I can buy gas whenever I want but if I want to knock out my shopping I have to wait till the late afternoon? When recession times were going on and shops were hurting they had no problem letting me come in during the «business» hours to spend money but now that things are better I cant come in anymore. Very selfish!

Bunny, I agree with you about the float. However, this place sucks. And not just because the prices are sometimes more expensive than just going to regular old WalMart. But because the selection is horrible. The «bulk» items are half the size they are in other cities. The electronics were only (and I checked around town) about 5 to 10 bucks cheaper than you could get elsewhere. The lines can be a little long (not due to an influx of people, but the seemingly Sunday Afternoon Drive attitude of the check-​out clerks). It IS Las Cruces, I guess. Oh, and also the gas prices which are still more expensive than they should be (this is WalMart we’re talking about). Come to think of it, those are the reasons it sucks. I’ve always shopped at Costco and when I came to Sam’s, I was very disappointed.

If you’re ever have a massive craving for a root beer float and you happen to be a Sam’s Club member, you’re in luck! 32 oz. of Barq’s Root Beer and vanilla Eskimo Pie ice cream for only $ 1.28! Perfect for a hot day! This is just one of the reasons that I love this place.
I usually come here for baby diapers, produce, wine and the occasional splurge of the latest technology. I’ve also gotten a great deal on a ring in the past. Love the wholesale prices and it’s worth the annual membership fee.
Unlike bigger cities, this location rarely has crazy long lines. Also, BEST deal on gas in town!
