Sonic Drive-In

Wow! Never have I heard such a well spoken, polite order taker. Very impressed. Speed of food delivery was fast! The delivery guy was polite, asked if we needed anything else and really meant it. This place is ran very well! Hats off to the owner/​managers!

It’s Sonic. The two things they do well: Gigantic drinks of all kinds for low prices and drunk people food.
I mean, really, when, other than when you’ve had one too many do you say, «Man, I’d like a foot of French fries with bad chili and Velvetta on top!» Never. Whenever my friends would come visit me during SXSW and I would be designated driving their behinds around, they would, inevitably, at some point, yell, «SONIC!!» (That’s a lot of commas. I think I might have overdone it a bit.)
So, yeah, it’s Sonic.

This place is filthy and worst customer service. I found a piece of «screw» on my burger and they did not do anything about it. I will never eat at sonic anymore place is garbage.

Three words: Green Chile Cheeseburger.
During consumption, I was a little weirded out by the intense flavor of green chile. However, in hindsight, now, that shit was pretty amazing. Chile is in pretty much everything you order in Las Cruces. That’s what they are known for. I guess they used to have this particular burger at the one in Palmdale, CA, but they discontinued it. I guess they just don’t get the fascination with green chilies in Cali.
So let me describe this burger to you. Imagine a Sonic burger with cheese and mustard… ok, now add hot green chilies. Viola! You got yourself a goddamn New Mexican creation. My poor boyfriend waited 6 months to have one of these burgers, and when we got home, they forgot the chile. He thanks Jesus that I have the stomach the size of a gerbil, because he got to eat the other half of my burger. He was a happy bear after that.
Basically, if you ever get a chance, please stop by a New Mexican Sonic’s and check out these burgers. You won’t be disappointed.

Coming from San Diego I am used to In-N-Out’s DELICIOUSNESS. but WHY IS NOT SONIC in SAN DIEGO. W — T — F! Cheesecake Bites, Mac-​N-​Cheese bites, 99 cent MILKSHAKES! billions of drink combinations, no-​need to get out of your car! push-​button-​ordering! COMMON! I always had to drive to Anaheim if I wanted to savor the magnificent grilled cheez. Recommendation: Kids Meal! Grilled Cheese, tots and Cranberry SLUSH, MMMMmmmMmm, PLUS A TOY!!, last time I got a Compass! another recommendation — go at midnight and watch all the high school kids act like rebels in their Hondas and Mustangs (LAAAMME!!) go bump some Fifty else-​where!
