We stayed at the Flamingo Hotel and finding this bar was a gem. We woke up early just to explore the hotel before the morning rush. It was about 8am. A bartender named Kevin called out to us saying it’s still happy hour. We laughed and he said it’s 5 o’clock somewhere this became our late night and early morning spot everyday of our vacation. Carlos was also a great bartender. Drinks, atmosphere, and bartenders make this place perfect. I think happy hour is from 11pm to 10am not sure though.

I went in here with two others. We were looking for a drink to pass an hour or so. It was close to the hotel we were at so we headed in. In comparison to the great décor and ambiance you can find at bars in some of the newer and nicer hotels this place seemed like a dump. It is worn out and needs an update. I ordered a «perfect margarita» and it was a decent drink. However, it was around $ 11. I understand drinks are more in Vegas but I think next time I’ll go somewhere more fun and not so cheesy.

I love cheesy, fun, bars and this is one of them! While walking about on the strip, I realized that mommy needed a drank and we went over here. The bartenders are hilarious and they show their best Cocktail moves which are pretty impressive! We tried the frozen margaritas and they were great! My mom, who is the worst critic, was impressed too and had a great time! Although the drinks are pricey, this place is fun and a great place to relax and have a good time.

My twin brothers had a 21st birthday TODAY… We walked up all excited and showed the bartender their IDs since it’s their first time they were able to buy a drink… And we said«they just turned 2130 minutes ago!!!» The bartender replied, «cool.» Hello dude!!! Wake up!!! Kind of disappointed in the way they treat 21 runs. Don’t go here for your birthday! Also, it took a long time to get a drink. Sorry margaritaville, I used to like you.

The bartenders were friendly and talented in juggling cups while making drinks. My favorite drink was Tranquil Waters, which consisted of Cruzan mango rum, blue curacao, pineapple juice, and mango!

Five stars for: Great bar with fun bartenders The drinks are pretty strong Plenty of seating at the bar and outdoor tables Creative recipes and cocktail names Four stars for: The drinks are pricy $ 12 – 20 Smoking inside the bar(I’m used to California laws– no smoking in bars) Bartenders can be crude — mixed feelings about this. Fast turnover for new customers

I went here January 2013 and since I am going back next week for my boyfriend’s 21st birthday I was thinking back on all the places in Vegas I went and what will be the best place to make his trip AMAZING. This was the first place I remembered and BYFAR the best! I stumbled in at 3:30am because I was attracted to the name and fun decorations and it turned out to be happy hour some of the best fun I had all weekend. Our bartender went to the world championships of bartending and won first place(whether he was lying or not he was still amazing and had 5 times more tricks than any flare bartenders I have ever seen). I agree with Freddy O, my favorite bar. People were buying each other shots, laughing, the bartender hooked up the free shots, the music was perfect, and I did not want to leave. but the sun rose aaaaand it was time to go back to the hotel.

Billy is by far one of the best bartenders I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He made my birthday one of the most memorable ones. Everytime I come to Vegas Margaritaville 5 o’clock somewhere is always my 1st stop! Love this place!!!

When the temperature is still hovering in the 90s when you arrive in Vegas after midnight, a refreshing, cold drink is more than welcome, especially at a decent place like this. I didn’t feel like venturing too far from my hotel, but was glad I walked the couple of blocks down to here within the Margaritaville Casino. First off, the bartender definitely had the«wow» flair factor going with his precise bottle spinning and cup tossing. Normally I would find that a bit cheesy, but I have to admit, he was accurate, impressive and personable. I ordered their signature, yet strong 5 O’Clock Somewhere boat drink(151 rum), which definitely countered the fatigue and jet lag of getting into town from the East Coast. I also tried the«Zombie,» another fruity and strong concoction that was also delicious. Of course they were not cheap, but then again, nothing is in this town. Overall, not too shabby for my first stop along the Strip. 3.5 Stars.

Fresh off the plane and a newcomer to Vegas, I stumbled across the 5 O’clock Somewhere Bar sometime after 1 or 2 in the morning. Who knows since my body was feeling like it was 4 or 5 in the morning. But hey, I guess it is 5’Oclock Somewhere! So this spot did the trick of a place to grab a drink and catch up with a friend after a long day of travel. I’m not sure the exact terms of the deal, but our drinks were 2 for $ 10 or buy 1, get 1. Having had the«5 O’clock Somewhere» drink in the past at other Margaritaville locations and knowing it’s Bacardi 151 goodness, I knew we were getting a sweet deal. We got to mingle with a fun, yet slightly inebriated crowd. Our timing was right so we also got to enjoy the bartender’s infamous whistle and drink flipping skills. With all of the options in Vegas, this bar isn’t a destination however it’s a fun time for sure if you are looking to grab a beverage.

My friend and I stayed at the Flamingo; after walking around we went to this bar around 3am and found out it was happy hour! I don’t remember exactly what the prices were, but we got some very cheap margaritas and domestic beer. Pretty standard drinks… nothing fancy but will get the job done. The small bar is adjacent to the outdoor patio on the strip as well as the casino inside, which was pretty cool. Our bartender was pretty funny, kind of a little too flirty with us but I guess its all part of the fun haha. We got to meet some fun people who didn’t want to end the night as well. Overall, a cool casual bar at the Flamingo with a pretty good late late night happy hour.

5 O’clock Somewhere Las Vegas Strip, NV 4pm Monday 5th August 2013 Four Stars It was Sara’s First trip to Vegas on 100+ degree day which meant we needed a ridiculous 45 ounce souvenir cup complete with flashing Las Vegas Sign filled with Hurricane Mix for $ 36.75. The bartender Phillip did some flare tricks which was great for a Monday afternoon.
