Tiny gas pumps and a Redbox kiosk. When I say«tiny» gas pumps, I mean there are four clumped together so close that really only one car can be on each side at a time. But most 7−11s don’t have gas pumps in the first place, so it evens out. Service inside is quick, people are in and out fast, and concessions area is organized. Not one of the seedier convenience stores, but I’ve only been here during daylight hours– seems to be mostly a neighborhood stop for quick snacks or items you forgot at the grocery store.

Oh thank Heaven! LOL. This place is super close to my apartment! I go here when we are on our way back from the gym, bc I usually ready to die and need some oj! I like the sandwiches z9the fresh 711 brand) that they have here. The turkey with chipotle mayo is yummy! The clerks here are nice and the place itself is clean. They also have a Redbox. Come here if you need some candy or a quick bite to eat!

Since 7 – 11 is like wal-mart, u pretty much know where to go when u get in there. So without fail I knew exactly where to go but the difference is always in how ur treated and for a gas station I must say good job. I’m done.

* Fresh coffee assured * Good selection of work gloves This is my nearby 7-Eleven. Tucked away on a quiet stretch of Westcliff, it’s like a friendly neighborhood store from yesteryear. I stopped in for coffee one morning when I ran out of beans at home. I didn’t have my act together to get a fresh supply of Volcano beans from Trader Joe. The night clerk eyed me suspiciously as if he expected me to start cramming things in my pockets. I looked back at him like, I see you watching me. It didn’t take him long to lighten up. Maybe it dawned on him there really isn’t much to shoplift from the coffee center. The staff here are amazingly cheerful. Amazing since the next guy through the door could be the one that puts a bullet in you. Maybe it’s a war zone kind of cheerfulness. We could be goners any minute; might as well laugh. They greet you like a family member in spite of the conditions. When the staff is friendly, I tend to go back. The store has an imposing coffee center with several brews and lots of creamers in thimble-sized drums. You can get your paper coffee mug refilled+ for half of the original price. I tried the Fusion Energy coffee with guarana, ginseng, and yerba maté. I doctored it up with a dollop of leche dulce. I don’t use these creamers at home so they are a special treat. While you’re there getting your coffee ready, you get to observe all these classic blue collar types straggle in for coffee, donuts, burritos, sodas, and snacks. Or you see women from the administrative salt mines wander in with kids in tow. They’re trying to wake up and brace themselves for another day. It’s a slice of Americana. There’s nothing worse than coffee from a pot that has been fermenting on a burner for hours, typical of convenience stores. Both times I stopped for coffee, I didn’t see that here. My two mugs of Fusion Energy were fresh. That’s because they toss the pot after 30 minutes. Fusion Energy coffee lived up to its name, giving me a jolt of extra energy for several hours. If they don’t have a pot ready, they will cheerfully make you one. + I advise against using the paper cups for a refill. They’re held together with glue that probably seeps into your coffee. I found out the hard way when the cup I was using came apart at the seams. Luckily I detected the seepage in time to avoid having a mug of coffee spill all over the interior of my car. My next visit I tried to double up on the paper cups and the normally friendly cashier said, «I’ll have to charge you for that» in a surly tone. When I explained the problem with the cups coming apart, she wisely relented. I wound up buying one of their plastic drink pitchers that holds about half a pot. They charge $ 1.07 for each refill. Take that Starbucks! Gloves: When I need work gloves, 7-Eleven isn’t the first place I think of. This store has a good-sized rack of fabric and leather gloves. I asked the charming cashier with the British accent if they sold many gloves. «Yes, the workmen buy them all the time. We sell a lot in the winter. Their hands get cold.» Who knew? 7-Eleven = Gloves. The store is too small to stock many useful items. And yet, they carry motor oil, anti-freeze, lighter fluid, and charcoal briquettes. Hey, if you need something in a hurry, stop by 7-Eleven. You never know what they’ll have.
