Well, I guess I used to be one of their customers. They just quit showing up, so I couldn’t tell you if they think I still am. We started using these guys when we bought our house last spring. Loved the idea of having one company to handle both the pool and lawn service, and not having to juggle yet one more contractor. The initial cleanup was OK, except for the tall trees. Apparently, we found out 3 months later, they won’t trim anything over 12′ tall, even though the guy who quoted us agreed to trim to cypress and palm. They finally sub-contracted that out. The guy who comes out(well, came out– past tense, I guess) every week is a hard worker; he really puts in the effort to make sure everything is trimmed and cleaned, although we have had an ongoing problem with the sprinkler system flooding the neighbor’s yard. And he didn’t change the sprinkler clock with the seasons. The main problem is that we never knew when he would come out. We were scheduled for every Friday, which was sometimes Thursday, sometimes Saturday, and occasionally the following Monday. Trying to get a hold of someone is nearly impossible. We would usually get a return call for about every 3 – 4 voice mails we would leave. When we initially scheduled service, we thought that we had set them up to auto-debit the monthly fee. Apparently not, and we got behind on the bill. The guy brought us a statement and we got caught up right away. We never saw another statement though, so I never knew if they were expecting us to just pay or if we were supposed to wait for an invoice every month(so it would include repairs, etc.). So here about 3 months ago, they just quit showing up. We gave it a few weeks and, literally the day I logged in to Unilocal and started my unfriendly review of them, the guy was at the house when I got home. Apparently he had a medical emergency and was out for several weeks and was back. It would have been nice to get a call from the company to let us know. He didn’t do anything with the lawn that day and said that he needed to order a part for the pool. That was the last we ever heard from them. No phone calls, no return visits from the regular guy. Nothing. I haven’t bothered to try to call; it’s not worth saving that business relationship.
