This used to be Philly’s Famous Italian Ices but they added the cheesesteak component. Also, apparently, this truck was recently bought by POP’s Cheesesteaks and is now selling their product along with the Italian ice. I tried a mushroom cheesesteak with cheese whiz and a mango Italian ice. The Italian ice has nothing on SnowOno but it’s definitely better than your average snow cone. $ 2 for a small, $ 3 for a medium, and $ 4 for a large. The small is a pretty decent size. They have a variety of flavors. The cheesesteaks range from $ 8.99 to $ 9.99 and are pretty darn good. Fresh bread, good thinly sliced meat, footlong size. They have a ton of options, including different kinds of cheese that I haven’t seen at other food trucks. This is one of those rare food trucks that doesn’t include tax in the menu price of the items. So bring some pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters or prepare to get some change back. The staff is friendly. The food is good. Definitely a fan.
