First and last time stopping in this location… Lots of bad things to say. First off the entire dining room was really dirty. There were only two tables occupied when I was there and no one in line ordering but they had 5 people staffed behind the counter. Don’t understand why each table should be greasy with crumbs everywhere and crumbs all over the carpet when you’re obviously not understaffed or too busy to clean. Cashier wasn’t friendly… We told them our order was for here, they packed it to go… Our frozen latte drinks were horrible… Full of ice chunks, not blended at all. When my food came I had ordered the green chile turkey sandwich asking for cream cheese instead of mayo. Then I realized my sandwich had no cream cheese. As I told one girl, another came up interrupting me, arguing that she put cream cheese on my bagel… As I’m pulling apart my sandwich at the register I had to pull apart the entire thing until she believed me and then she just grabs it and walks away… No response, nothing… Then brings it in another to go bag(when we’re obviously eating there) and just walks away. Horrible customer service. Mistakes happen I get it but they have no listening skills, obviously lazy about reading the orders… And no manners. A simply apology and maybe pretending you care about your customer’s happiness is all I really wanted. And to top it all off my boyfriend got nauseous within an hour of leaving there and has been sick all day… That’s the only thing we’ve eaten today.

I’ve come to Einstein for lunch on three occasions. Service has been fairly quick, but not what I’d call enthusiastic; and the dining room has been empty or nearly empty every time. What I don’t understand is why it’s always dirty if there are no dine in customers there. Tables are never clean and the carpet always has crumbs everywhere. Someone needs to pay better attention to this space. I have actually had to wipe a table and chairs down just to eat there. However, the upshot is that the food is always very good. The Asiago bagel makes for excellent sandwich bread! I would recommend the Tasty Turkey sandwich to anyone, but I may take it back to the office from now on.

The food & drinks are good, but the staffing is horrible. People are nice enough, but there aren’t enough people scheduled or trained per shift. Forget the drive thru, it’s a joke. MINIMUM15 minutes whether there is no one or 5 people ahead of you. I have filed an actual complaint with management, but have heard nothing yet.

The only reason I’m giving this 3 stars is because the food and drinks ARE good and we have and still repeatedly go here, so I can’t knock it too much… BUT having said that, at LEAST every other time we go here we have a problem with the staff. I don’t understand why because everything should pretty straightforward in a bagel shop? Consistent screw ups, we’ve never been through the drive thru and usually just eat right there, but it’s no different. If something came out wrong, or if only one of us got our order and 10 minutes later the other person still didn’t get theirs — the staff AVOID you like the plague! I guess they think if they avoid eye contact with you, then you’ll just go away. There just shouldn’t be that much drama in a bagel joint. I also hate the layout of the place with the 2 register system(one to order and one to pay) — the place is pretty cramped with the tables and the foot traffic is always hard to maneuver with/around when you want to look and see what bagels they have.

I’ve been to other locations & this one is by far my favorite. The cashier was attentive & had a great personality(so rare nowadays). I was ordering a vegetable bagel for my coworker & he took the time to tell me about the two different kinds they offered & not once did he look annoyed. He was all laughs & smiles… So refreshing at 7 in the morning on a Tuesday! The chick that handed me the bagels though seemed a little grumpy though. Other than that speedy service. Will definitely return!

It must be miserable to work at this place because they never smile, never say thank you or good morning, and definitely never make me feel welcome. On my way to work at an emergency room and I just want to tell them«It could be worse, you could be dying!» … I really wish my experiences were better here. It’s so convenient and close to my house. What a downer!

I’m not sure why everyone gives this place such horrible reviews. I went there this morning. My food was nice and fresh. I got the spinach artichoke chicken sandwich. It tasted really good. The bagels are nice and fresh also. The employees were also very nice. I would definitely go back.

This is my final draw with this location. The manager needs to step it up a notch. I just went thru the drive thru and ordered a bagel and 5 fruit cups. Take my order and the gal says let me check on the fruit cups then comes back to the mic and says ok pull forward. The place is packed and I am in line for 16 minutes bumper to bumper. Finally I get to the window and the gal says I am sorry we don’t have any fruit cups. I am pissed. My team of girls worked so hard yesterday and I wanted to do something nice and wasted 20 minutes by this time I need to get to the office. I am so upset. By the way she didn’t even mention the darn bagel. I am stunned. Every time I go here it gets worse.

I love Einstein bagels. But maybe opening a drive thru was not the best idea. Every time I visit I’m waiting a good amount of time. I come back time and time again for there hazel but roast coffee. Each time I go the quality gets worse and worse. I just stopped going altogether. Whenever I visit I make sure I have time to get off and go in. Drive thru service here is horrible.

Only person in the store at 540am. Five people standing around chatting, no one acknowledges me or asks for my order. I politely ask for help and they say they will be right with me and go back to chit chatting. Could not believe the terrible customer service. Very disappointed.

Quick, friendly Drive-thru service. I was greeted by a friendly order taker(didn’t catch her name). Didn’t have to wait more than 60 seconds for my order. Coffee was made the way I like and my bagel was fresh.

Based on the other reviews I’m reading I’m glad I’m not the only one who has experience less than sub-par customer service. This location is right by my house which is why I keep coming back. Usually I’ll hit the drive through. Whoever is working the drive thru isn’t completely rude, but not friendly either. That’s fine. It’s Einsteins, which is why I don’t expect 5 star service. Just make sure my food is on point and we’ll be good. My order is almost always correct and the one time it wasn’t it was quickly corrected. This morning I had a different experience. I’d just gotten off of a graveyard shift and wanted nothing more than a lox and bagel. When I pulled up I saw that the drive thru line was incredibly long so I went inside. I was standing there for about 5 minutes while the 5 – 6 employees working simply looked at me. I gave a «hi!» and I was returned with blank stares. Did I smell or something? I was about to walk out when Diane came from the back and graciously greeted me. She took my order, double checked it, and wished me a good day with a smile on her face. She was the only employee that seemed like she wanted to be at work that day. From there I got my order in no time and was on my way. I’m conflicted on whether or not I’ll return. This location is super convenient since it’s by my house but I have a very low tolerance for bad customer service no matter how good the product is. And I love my lox and bagel too. This morning was straight up bad until Diane took care of me. My experience should be consistent no matter what location I’m at and which employee I deal with. Overall 2 stars, 1 for my food and one for Diane.

We needed to grab a bite to eat before heading over to a friends house so we stopped here. We were greeted quickly and our ordered was up in no time. I had the standard sesame bagel with a cream cheese shmear and my guy had a sandwich. A nice pumpernickel bagel with ham, swiss cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato and a side of potato salad. The food and service was good and we will happily return.

From time to time i stop by on the way to work for a breakfast treat, I am often frustrated by the time it takes to make it through the drive thru line, i mean it’s a bagel with cream cheese! My latest visit the girl working the window didn’t greet us just took my card handed me my stuff and my receipt and card and didn’t say thank you here you go or nothing. I often wonder why work in a customer service job if you have no customer service skills or just choose not to use them. I feel the food is a bit over priced so i only go every so often but when i do it’s the same dry experience. The only reason i go back is because i enjoy their bagel and smoothies.

I normally really like this company but this is the second time I have come in to get a couple of the bakers dozen and coffee and had to wait a good 10 – 15 minutes for the order to be filled. Three of the employees including what looked like the manager or just standing around. No one seemed very enthusiastic about their work or helping a guest. Being in the service industry and having managed a number of restaurants in the past I was extremely disappointed. I will not be visiting this location again. Would’ve been different if this was The first time I’ve encountered this kind of service here. In general Einstein brothers bagels are awesome. I have always love stopping in here in the morning and made a ritual with my wife to go every Sunday. It takes a lot for me to not visit a place I generally love going.
