Great Clips

I hadn’t utilized their online check in but was taken right away. Didn’t get anything special, just a straight across, blunt bob at shoulder length. Once I got home and dried my hair, I’ve noticed its uneven in spots but for $ 13 I’m fine with it. When I style it, it won’t even be noticeable. Stylist was very friendly. She tried to sell me product but I’m she wasn’t overly pushy, and I’m sure they’re told to push product, I’m just happy with the shampoo I’m using. If I get the same cut I’ll come here again, but for anything more elaborate, I’ll go to a higher end salon.

I’ve seen low reviews here, and it’s understandable if you’re particular hair stylist and visit went awry. Yet, each time I came here, the 3 different ladies cutting my hair were quick, talkative, efficient and pleasant. I take advantage of the deals and the online check ins.

Where do they hire their people from? The «hairstylist» don’t even know what she’s doing. Never going back there again. I just fixed my hair and I did a better job than her.

Customer Service is awful. I got my haircut from a different location closer to my work, and went to this location to get a minor fix. Terri told me that she couldn’t fix my hair because the location I went to was part of a different franchise. What? Franchise? Isn’t Great Clips, Great Clips?
So, I asked her how is a customer suppose to know which franchise owner owns which great clips? She then handle me a brochure. I went back home and spoke with three other locations, two of which is within the Southern Highlands franchise. They all said that Terri should of fixed it and that it was a corporate policy.
I will never deal with them again.
What could of been a 2 minute buzz fix turned to a bunch of negative online reviews that I’m going to write and a letter to corporate of my shitty experience.

It’s funny how miserable the hair stylists are here. I don’t understand why they make it so uncomfortable for their guests to be here. They gave me attitude for having a different number on file but I laughed it off. I watch as other people check in and they treat them like they don’t want them here! Why?! I should’ve listened to my daughter and took her to cool cuts, poor thing looks sad in the chair. The girls are MEAN here!

As many have said, this is hit or miss. I have had some really nice cuts but today it got too much. Last time they finally talked me into being put into their stupid computer system cause «it would make life so much easier», and today they can’t find me. I repeat my number 7 times, nothing. Then they wanna put me in again and I spell my name. They get it wrong. I take the note and correct it and they still get it wrong at which point I just say «forget the stupid computer» and the girl starts giving me attitude and I tell her to calm her attitude and she says «I can say the same to you». That was it. I’m done. Done done done. I can go somewhere else and spend my money

The only good thing about my cut is that it was cheap of course. Why is it that you cannot go anywhere and just get your hair cleaned up? Cut it so short it just sticks up everywhere when I specifically stated what I wanted. To top it off she cut three inches off my bangs. Now I’m just all forehead. Then said now you can wear it messy. I’m sorry but did I ask for a new doo? So upset! I will never go back!

Just moved to this area and decided to give this place a try because it was one of the first hair salons I seen when driving around. The receptionist was very kind and friendly. As soon as they plugged in all the names of the people getting haircuts in our party the staff was on it. Each stylist calling the name of their customer. My husband, son and daughter were very pleased with their stylist! They even input what they did and how they cut your hair so the next time you go there the next stylist would know. Definitely would come again. Another plus… THEY’RE VERY AFFORDABLE! Good job Great Clips!!!

Good no frills haircut that was $ 13 plus tip. Probably not the best place if you are higher maintenance b/​c I did not get a blow dry (which is completely fine, and I actually prefer). If you are looking for a basic quick cut, this would be a good place to go. I used the online check-​in and when I arrived there were 2 other people waiting but I got to go first. Planning on using them again for my next cut.

I used to come here for every haircut. Service was friendly and quick. Haircuts are ok… Nothing special. You get what you pay for. Came in this time and I was told I was next. I have watched 6 people go ahead of me now. I keep asking for a time and each time told I’m next. They seem confused on what next means. I don’t have too much freetime with work and school. If it was going to be longer I needed to know that. Not have them keep putting people ahead. And them I asked they each just laughed and shrugged. Go somewhere else for a cheap haircut. Super cuts is just as cheap and better service. Go there

Terri has been cutting my hair and my 2 boys for 8 years. We don’t go anywhere else. She knows exactly how I like my hair and keeps my boys handsome

Myself and my boy go here (I can’t really afford salon prices… other things come first like food and school tuition). They are pretty decent with my son (who is 3 years old and squirms like a worm in hot ashes) and they do just fine on me (I require just a trim of the ends for my hair is long and I like it to stay that way… nothing too difficult). It isn’t the Paul Mitchell salon but it works for the family on a budget. If you are looking for a new and improved look that will make the opposite sex drool… go somewhere else. If you just need a trim now and again and don’t have the funds to get fancy… this is the place for you.

This place is more of a miss than a hit. Once in a blue moon you get a decent haircut. Most of the time, you get the beauty salon dropouts that barely passed the test. If by chance you do get a stylist that knows what they are doing. They suddenly stop working at this place. Probably because they were able to get a real job at a reputable salon. Unless you are getting a hair cut that a seven year old with cerebral palsy can perform. My advice is to avoid this place like the swine flu. You can pretty much use this review for all Great Clips locations. As soon as you sit in that chair they will perform an O.J.Simpson special on your head.
