Awful service, hard to flag down a wait staff. They try not to make eye contact. Food isn’t that great, for a Cantonese restaurant it’s not really that great quality. Been here twice and. Don’t think I would try for a 3rd.

I don’t usually leave comments or reviews. Unfortunately, I can’t let this one slide. Food is really good that’s why I recommended it to my brother-in-law who likes to eat good, quality food. …and he did enjoy the food. We came back to eat today and we ordered Honey-walnut shrimp. My son is allergic to walnuts so we asked the lady to put the walnut on the side on a diff. bowl. We did tell her that my son is allergic. The food came and the walnuts were literally«on the side» of the shrimp. Of course we asked them to change the whole plate and they did agree. It came back right away and they said it was a new one that’s meant for the other table. We didn’t trust them and found, not 1 but 2 walnuts mixed in the mayo. They obviously just scraped the walnuts out. I won’t be eating there again. It was life and death situation for my son. We were told twice that it was a new plate. Although, the food was good, I don’t think I can trust them with my meal. Hope this helped. God bless!

Fast service with very good and good quality food. Authentic style Chinese with good sized proportions. Highly recommend and will be back.

The food was average here. Had both better and worse Cantonese food. We were a party of 16 with 2 tables of 8, 9 adults and 7 children. At least 8 of us were very hungry with little food for the day and hiking, so we were famished. Pros: — nice portions — once ordered, food came out fast — can accommodate big parties — dessert supplied with dinner — opened for Thanksgiving — owner came and thanked us for our business Cons: — tables jammed into the restaurant — had to ask multiple times for the same things before we actually got them — service okay Something with what I ate greatly bothered me about 2/3rds way through, which I was feeling fine before I ate. I think everyone else was fine, but for me felt like mild food poisoning. Will give benefit of doubt that my system just objected to something. Was sick for the rest of the evening but feel fine today. Tips: — make reservations as they can get packed easily — come early

Horrible service. I waited for 10 minutes in an empty restaurant waiting for the hostess to set me. They couldn’t pause the their conversation for a minute to just nod and point me to a seat.

3.5 stars… the food was ok but for the price it’s a really good deal… so I’m split. They’re super cheap and have great late night specials. Reasonable service… you do have to flag people down. Don’t expect white glove customer service but for Asian restaurant standards, the service was pretty good. They were polite and helpful with food recommendations. Food: Pretty authentic but they were stingy with the meat. The Mongolian beef and stir fried lamb with green onions had great flavor, but there was very little meat in the dishes. The meat: veg ratio was way too low. However those were my favorite dishes. Pan fried wide noodles(no gravy): not too greasy but pretty low on flavor… would not recommend. Green beans in XO sauce: had great flavor but the green beans were over cooked. I like mine with a little crunch. Chicken soup with corn: way too much cornstarch… too gelatinous. Kinda flavorless. They served a house soup(random bits and ends) which was pretty good and a red bean soup for dessert. I’m on the fence about this… it’s decent Chinese food(just nothing spectacular) and the service is pretty good. The prices are fantastically low… but if there was a tastier place with higher prices I would go to the more expensive place in a heartbeat.

Definitely a good, authentic restaurant! Flavor is on point and service is very attentive. My family and I ordered a whole roasted duck, beef chow fun, sauteed mussels, and chinese broccoli with beef. Everything arrived in about ten minutes. The complimentary soup came five minutes before that. All the food was delicious and brought back nostalgic childhood memories. If you want that family owned, chinese restaurant quality, this place should be on the top of your list. The environment isnt loud even when busy. Highly recommend!

We ordered seafood pan fried noodles and the fish filet with black bean sauce. Both were pretty good. We also ordered a watermelon smoothie which came out more like juice. Dishes during dinner are family style and come with a container of white rice. They also automatically give you a pot of tea.

Ok, so the four stars is my rating as if I didn’t know about the whole health inspection from months ago. I made the terrible mistake of checking Unilocal only AFTER I was seated at this restaurant upon the glowing reviews from my parents, who are Vegas locals. That made me super-conscious about the hygiene at this establishment. To be honest, I didn’t see anything too glaring or different than a standard hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant in terms of cleanliness. From the dining room I could see a bit into the kitchen, which looked ok to me. However, I did notice that while clearing a table they didn’t use any cleaning sprays — just a damp rag — not good. Food-wise, I have to admit that it’s pretty yummy food at a more than fair price point. The crispy pork and duck meat cuts were stellar. I almost wished the food wasn’t so good as it would make this place a much easier review. Our meal came with vegetable soup which was very tasty. And no, no one in our party got sick after eating. Perhaps they have cleaned up their act after the TV expose. Either way, my parents continue to frequent this restaurant with no problems, and I suppose if I were to visit again I would not be against coming here.

came here on a friend’s recommendation for dim sum. We ordered the normal dim sum dishes, sticky rice wrapped in banana leaves, rice rolls, sui mai, shrimp dumplings, veggie dumplings, over all i thought the food was pretty good. Not too greasy or too expensive. We had a large party of 13 and had no problem getting service right away. Wouldn’t mind coming back

Authentic Chinese cuisine. I go here and I’m the only person who is not Asian usually. I always eat giant clam which is prepared with cilantro and some kind of sauce. Always freshly prepared as well. I get the snails and black bean sauce it’s a little spicy, tastes, and smells great tho. Crab meat and fish maw soup is what I usually start out with. I’ve had hot pot here a bunch of times. There is a really big variety of veggies, meats, and broths to choose from. The poached chicken and ginger sauce along with a roster duck, are some of the things I eat here regularly.

I came here a few before but my last visit was the worst visit I order the Mongolian beef and it tasty like it was old and rotten omg and the fried pork chop was all batter no meat. The fried whole was extra oily. The worst part about this experience was my husband got food poisoning. He’s been sick for 3 days now.

Going here is worse than slot machines. Not only do you come out a loser, but you’ll end up losing your faith in Chinese food. 1: why do you serve package dumplings? More so, what drugs do the owners take allowing them to sleep comfortably? This abomination should be avoided at all cost. 2: if you want a(lousy) dinner and a show, come here for the service. Our feedback of «the food is not seasoned well» fell on deaf ears to the owner/manager. As a kicker, we said it aloud in Cantonese and English. 3: I’m giving one star to the busboy. He was attentive, got us extra serving spoons, and refilled our tea faster than an Aria cocktail server. Yes sir, that is why we tipped you separately. I’m all for small businesses and helping to contribute to a family’s dream. However, I would sleep comfortably at night knowing this place goes under. Me, cold? Not as cold as the tofu fish.

First timer introduced and treated by a local(my uncle) for my birthday. Excellent service! My uncle brought his own bottle of white wine from home and they didn’t mind and offer to chill it for us as we wait for our food. There is many types of chinese food but as my uncle said u order what they are known for which is seafood and bbq chinese food and so we did. They even showcased the 5lb live lobster to get my uncle’s approval before turning it into a delicious birthday lobster noodle.

If you’re someone who frequents PF Changs or thinks Panda Express is actually good, chances are you WILLNOT like this place. They serve traditional, authentic, Chinese food. Not the Americanized versions you get at Changs or Panda. Yes they have many dishes similar to that of PF Changs. The difference: the sauces/marinades are much lighter & not as sweet & they do not use corn starch to thicken everything up. By authentic & traditional, I mean what you would find in the market place & restaurants INCHINA is what is served here. If you’ve eaten in Chinatown in So Cal or Alhambra, this is the same… minus the shrimp tank. Everything is served family style. Your dishes come out 1 or 2 at a time depending on how many people are at your table & how busy it is. If you want your entire order to arrive at once you very well may be disappointed. Try the seafood hotpot(octopus, squid, scallops), beef chow fun with gravy(its a minimal amount of gravy but also comes dry), eggplant & tofu, & Mongolian beef(lots of sliced onion, some scallions). I was here with 7 others, we ordered 5 dishes & veg egg roll, & it was plenty. No takeaway! With hot tea the bill was under $ 45. Everything was cooked properly, thoroughly, & was very flavorful. Oh! True traditional items are listed on the wall: kidney, brain, chicken feet. Another reviewer mentioned how crummy the service was. Remember this: You’re not only in an authentic Chinese restaurant, you’re in Chinatown. Its a different culture. Don’t place your American expectations on them — you will always be disappointed. If you don’t like it then exercise your right to not return. This place has a strong & loyal Chinese & vietnamese following… they aren’t closing their doors for lack of business. Enjoy!

So I’ve been here twice. But my review is based off my most recent visit which was Sunday night We got there with a complete group of 8 and granted it was a busy night for them. But there were still tables vacant. We stood at the front of the door way for about 15−20mins before I got frustrated enough to go up to someone and ask when would we be seated. There also was another group of 4 waiting to be seated. I’m not trying to sound like there was a cultural preference… But while still waiting to be seated… Another group of 7 arrived(Chinese) and started talking to someone in Chinese about getting seated I’m assuming and they started to walk them to a table BEFORESEATINGUS!!! So I said EXCUSEME! And put a stop to that quick. So finally after getting seated… It was about 20minutes before anyone came to take our order. Again granted it was busy… But that should be no excuse. And remember that 7 person group that was Chinese trying to skip us… They ordered before us… And their food came out before anyone even came to get our order! I HADTOGOUPANDGETSOMEONEAGAIN to come to our table, take our food and drink order. They didn’t even get our drink order… They had only served us hot tea. I was LIVID. We kept seeing others people food come out before ours and my patience was running thin. I promise you it was almost 45 before we GOTUPANDLEFT! We were able to get two sodas and they were asking USTOPAYFORTHESODA! And I had to tell them that is BS and it should be on the house! We even ordered soup– THATCOULDABEENTHEFIRSTTHINGTOCOMEOUT!!! But NOTHING! For 45mins! Bad form and unacceptable! My parents were livid and my mother even started a mild fight with the manager on the absolute HORRIFIC service we received! The first time we went we brought them big business! 33 people! And the food was actually good and decent. And obviously our food didn’t come all out at the same time but one at a time. — that’s how it shoulda been on Sunday! They coulda given us the dam soup first at least I PROMISEYOU we are NEVER going back to this establishment

This place taste way better when your drunk. Came here with the fambam, sober. Ordered so much food but nothing stuck out to me. We ordered practically everything on menu — snails, crab, duck, curry, fried pork, shrimp, fish, etc. We were a large party so we were given a private room. I could not understand a word our server was saying! We just kept repeating what we were saying which was getting kind of confusing! The staff was nice though. We had a birthday cake with us and they gave us birthday candles to put on em! They accommodated our needs when they were needed. Place is cheap too!
