I had their bulgogi cheesesteak and fries. I loved how crispy the fries were. Service was awesome too.

I’ve always heard about this place but never tried it until today. Service was fast and prompt. We went around lunch time and there was only one customer. My friends and I ordered multiple items, mostly from recommendations off of other Unilocal reviews. I ordered the beef kimchi fried rice and a pork bulgogi fusion taco. My friend ordered a beef bulgogi fusion burrito and my other friend ordered a chicken enchilada plate. Surprisingly, the best dish out of everything we ordered was the chicken enchilada plate. It was the tastiest and the most memorable dish. Definitely worth trying. The pork bulgogi fusion taco was delicious! I honestly can’t wait to try the other meats. The beef bulgogi burrito was… okay. Mediocre. Nothing significant about it. The most disappointing dish, unfortunately, was the kimchi fried rice. I don’t know if we just chose the wrong meat to go with it, but it was not the best. Good spice level and the full size was a good portion. Taste wise, it was okay but it did not wow us. Overall, this place was good. There’s a lot to choose from and it’s decently priced.

My group and I ate lunch here before we left Vegas. I gotta say, it definitely did not disappoint! While we were waiting for the food, we were presented with plates of tortilla chips, guacamole and salsa. It was quite addicting and almost made us forget that we were waiting for food. We got the fusion burrito(consisted of bulgogi, rice, lettuce and pico de gallo), pork belly tacos, beef bulgogi rice plate, pork belly musubi(warning: these are HUGE) and kimchi fried rice with spam and spicy pork(topped off with a huge fried egg). Portions were huge and we all left with happy, full stomachs. Service was awesome – our waitress was super patient and sweet and never hesitated to refill our drinks.

I eat here every time I goto Vegas. Since the one on Decatur is temporary closed I drove a tad further to get my fix. My order hasn’t changed since I’ve found this gem, bulgogi burrito is always my goto, maybe if I’m still hungry I’ll throw in some tacos as well haha. The servers are always really nice, and great at giving suggestions to first timers. You get salsa and guacamole as an appetizer like most Mexican places, but after like most Korean places you get fruit, at this place you get oranges, a nice contrast from the salty to sweet. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a Korean-Mexican fusion. If there was one of these in Los Angeles I’d be there every day

Everything was so delicious! My kids loved everything they tried so much that they had to order more after their first things came. We didn’t try anything that was less than amazing! All of the meats were so flavorful! The service was great! Friendly, and super attentive! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Boom! This place is quite the discovery. So I had it bookmarked for awhile and I am really glad I finally got to try it. We arrived right before the lunch rush and when I say rush the place was packed when we left. No real motif to the place, more just like a local bar/restaurant with simple tables and no hostess. I love these types of places! We were greeted as we walked in and seated right away. So the food is a mix of Mexican and Korean, two foods I really do enjoy so I was excited. We tried the dak bulgogi tacos with lettuce, the bulgogi bowl with fried eggs, spam masubi and the pork belly masubi with a fried egg. All of it… amazing! The masubis were a large portion and a definite reason to go back. Definitely recommend this delicious spot!

I love Korean and Mexican food! Whoever thought of this was a genius! I found Komex on Unilocal and went on a Sunday evening. We went at around 6pm and it slowly got packed. We ordered the bulgogi(beef and chicken), fried rice, fish lettuce wrap, spam musubi and wonton soup. Everything was pretty tasty but my favorite was the fried rice. It was hot, fresh, flavorful, and had tons of beef, chicken and shrimp. Service was excellent and the portions are very big. We ordered ½ orders and still had leftovers. Prices are also reasonable for the amount of food you get. I love their food and will definitely be back when I’m in town.

Not fast food, fused food. Picking up some toys from the«Toys for Tater Tots» drive, I figured I should at least take a break and see what this place is all about, I mean, I’m a sucker for any place that serves burritos. I went with the«Fusion Burrito» with every intention of eating this while driving around Vegas, but when I saw the size of this bad boy I knew this was a sit down snack job. The Fusion Burrito is a monster filled with your choice of meat and Mexican rice, green & brown onions, pico, cilantro, and lettuce. I went with the bulgogi spicy pork and it was delicious, the lettuce was crunchy and the meat had great flavor, but I do feel the burrito had more filler than meat. I need more meat Komex! I should have gone with the double your meat option and I do recommend anyone to do this when getting a burrito from Komex. Was it good? Of course it just needed more meat and less rice. Plus, the house made hot sauces are the business, seriously, If I was allowed I probably would have just poured the green sauce all over my burrito. Nummy nummers! A great place for a few beers and a quick bite, but next time I’m running a train on some of their famous tots.

This place is wonderful from start to finish. When I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile and was told I could sit wherever. I was the only person there so I grabbed a seat in front of the TV. It was 5:58pm and the nice lady quickly grabbed me a beer so I could get the happy hour price that ended at 6pm. How cool is that? I loved the chips, salsa and guac I was brought. Everything was fresh. I ordered the beef fusion burrito. I’m not a fan of lettuce in burritos(gets too soggy) so I asked for Korean slaw instead and it was wonderful. It kept a nice crunch. All the flavors combined, sweet Korean flavored meat and spice from the rice, was amazing. I couldn’t even finish half the burrito. I ordered the kimchi fried rice to-go. I’m way too full to eat it. It looks and smells amazing. That will be my meal tomorrow for sure. Yum!

I placed a to-go order over the phone and the staff was courteous and the process was easy. By the time I arrived, the food was ready so I was in and out of the restaurant in 10 min. What I ordered: –Kimchi fried rice –Korean chicken wings –Bulgogi fries All in all, the food was ok. I probably would bump this up to 4 stars if I had actually dined in because the food(fries especially) were a tad cold. Im sure had it been fresh the bulgogi fries would’ve been bomb! The sweet and spicy sauce on the chicken wings were pretty good, but I feel like I’ve had better. I would recommend this place because it has a lot of variety, esp. how there’s a mix of both Korean and Mexican food. I have yet to explore their«Mexican» menu, but tbh there’s other Mexican joints around that I don’t feel the need to try it out.

Always amazing food here. I lived in Korea for a year and a half and love good Korean food. I love good Korean fusion food too and Komex does it better than almost anybody. All food is very well priced and ginormously flavorful. Burritos are huge, tacos are fantastic and the nachos and fries are humongous portions. You can get Korean style beef, chicken or pork. Authentic flavors in all. There’s also a great variety of hot sauces to put on everything. I strongly recommend getting kimchi added to your order for a little more kick.

I finally got to try the-oh-so talked about KoMex! I love the concept; I especially love Korean food so I was extremely thrilled to try this place out. We went here on a Saturday night around 6pm. The place was dead. It was seriously just me and my boyfriend. It was a little awkward but overall I did not mind it too much. A few tables were labeled«Reserved» so we were hoping that people would roll in when we were there. We stayed there for more than an hour during our meal, no sign of any other human life form except for our waitress who was super friendly by the way. To start, we ordered ½ Beef Bulgogi Nachos. It was delicious. The meat was so tender and it was really flavorful. The combination of the sweet sauce blended so well with the pico and jalapenos. We ordered the Bulgogi burrito next and then three tacos with three different meat: beef bulgogi, pork and chicken. All of the meats were cooked perfectly and the flavors were spot on. The burrito was made well in my opinion. You know how when they make burritos, one side has all the beans and the other side has all the meat? Here they make it so that every bite is all the combination of the meat, pico, rice, etc. It was just so good that I was able to finish the whole burrito. And trust me, it was massive! I will definitely come back here to get my burrito fix.

I love this place!!! This is the only place that sells Korean food mixed with Mexican food and I love that. I always order the kimchi fried rice with spam OMG it’s so good. And you’re able to order spam musubi here with an egg in it and it honestly tastes better with the egg. Service is 3⁄5 lady is nice and served us not right away but she eventually served us it just takes a while for food to cook so it’ll be a bit waiting too Pricing isn’t too bad it’s affordable and worth the amount of food you get. They also allow for pick up too so if you just wanna pick up your food to eat at home you can or you can dine in(btw this place isn’t fast food) The inside was big, spacious lots of places to sit and there’s a tv so you can watch the game yay! lol overall I feel this place deserves a 4 star. Back to food I also ordered a bulgogi fries and it was pretty different just because they changed the meat to bulgogi it actually made the fries a little more sweet but that made it taste better because it’s a combo of spicy and sweet? Idk but yeah this place is worth a try I’d recommend

We came here yesterday for lunch. Actually we wanted to go the restaurant next door but it was closed on Sundays so we decided to try this place. You get homemade fresh nachos with salsa and guac with the meal. We had their specials on the menu. It was Bulgogi Tater Tots consisting of tater tots, bulgogi, sour cream, bacon bits, tomatoes and green onions. It was crunchy and appetizing. We also has Bulgogi skewers which was my favorite, very tender and satisfying. Pork belly skewers was ok. Interior was very casual. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. It’s a great place to eat and doesn’t break the bank.

When her friends greet you back to town with, «we’re VIP at ‘the best steakhouse off the Strip’ let’s meet up for dinner…» And then later says, «oh it’ll be too late for HH — we’ll miss the $ 1.99 deal…» Monkey say, «WHYTHEFUCK would you be VIP at ‘the best steakhouse off the Strip’ for a $ 1.99 deal???» With the bar is now set at a new low… this place ain’t bad. I mean, it’ll do. Clean joint for pretty clean fast food. Really nice, friendly service. Monkey do: BULGOGIBURRITO– got mine without rice and it was still huge. Good and bad that it wasn’t filled with bulgogi, thankful for plenty of veggies. LETTUCEWRAPS w/Chicken– two giant cups of diced chicken and veggies in lettuce Good post workout food without the food coma or the dent in your wallet. Shared parking in strip mall, There’s Korean, Korean/Mexican fusion and Mexican food as well.

I’m going to be a bit of a party pooper, but I wasn’t ecstatic to eat here since I’ve had food at their other location prior. I was hopeful that spring valley would be different. Bulgogi burrito– 3 stars. It was the size of my face, but I just think that I’m not a huge fan of the fusion Korean/Mexican food. I LOVE Mexican food, and something about the bulgogi just didn’t do it for me. Bulgogi rice bowl– 3 stars. This was okay for me as well. I didn’t quite get what was the big deal. I’d rather go eat a bibimbap. Pork bulgogi tater tots– 4 stars. How the hell did that happen you ask? I love nachos, and sour cream. This was a spin off of it, hence I loved it. I really think it was the sour cream though. My friend swapped the bulgogi for pork bulgogi, which was a good choice. Pork belly skewers– 2 stars. I didn’t like the pork belly quality or the marinade. Interior is a bit«hole in the wall.» They serve alcohol, accommodates bigger parties, but the place is not all that huge. Service was 5 stars. They were very organized, able to do separate checks for a party 16 people.

it’s now my favorite cheap food place in las vegas! This is the perfect korean mexican fusion place. I always get the bulgogi bowl. It comes with rice, veggies, kimchi, lots of bulgogi and a special chili pepper sauce with mmm egg and sesame oil on top. The portions are huge so you can always have yummy left overs. The wonton soup is super yummy here too but that is the only thing they say they put MSG on. But it is still super delicious. The best part is they offer FREE chips with guac and salsa! They always have great service too! this place is about 5 miles off the strip but if you want affordable and large portions, go here!
