Went and saw Tommy lama at the laugh factory inside tropicana. Excellent show. Was laughing the whole time. And scored seats right in front dead center. Of course like any comedy show if you get good seats like that expect to be part of the show. My date went on stage and by the end of the night tommy lama was calling him by his first name. after the show tommy lama shook everyone’s hand leaving which was pretty cool. It was so much fun. There wasn’t ever a dull moment. There weren’t too many people there so maybe this show is a real hidden gem of Vegas. I would definitely recommend checking it out. I went on a Monday night at 7 and I would say only about 15 people in the whole place. Everyone had great seats.

We had an amazing time here on Sunday May 1st. We were all laughing so hard we were crying the whole time. After reading the reviews we were afraid the tables would be too small and crammed so we got the VIP booth for the 6 of us and it was surprisingly large and at fit us all comfortably. Great venue with an intimate feel. Drinks were pricy but that’s to be expected in Vegas … $ 7 for a water is just plain wrong. Be warned that if you sit in the first row you will most likely be picked on by the comedians.

Would be 5 stars if they had a wait staff. Great comedians and crowd. Will go back for sure. Just didn’t like waiting in single file line to get drinks. Maybe I’m just lazy. :-)

Rich little performing. Old fart impersonating old celebrities. Very cold airconditioner. The host was not nice and gave attitude about a joke that we are vip. Rich little was actually very good for the senior citizens in the audience. The venue has enough space and was a legendary name.

We had such a fun time here! It wasn’t our first choice, but the two other events we were interested were sold out so we ended up here and were happy we did! $ 54 got us two tickets to see the show. We walked over to the Tropicana, picked up our tickets and were seated. The Tropicana looks way better than it did 8 or 9 years ago when I last visited it. Seriously an impressive remodel. We loved how it was so much brighter and whiter than all the other casinos. The lineup was good. Some guy from some got talent show, some other guy, and best of all CHETHUNTERFROMBOYMEETSWORLD. We love Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World and had no idea he was going to be there. It was amazing luck. The comedians were all funny and we had a good time. They rotate in new comedians every week, so there is always someone new to see. Overall we had a blast for under $ 60. Not a bad way to spend a night.

This venue saw its glory days about at the same time as Lincoln. Over priced drinks is one thing but the drinks smelled like sewer… Like a bad fart… Show was pretty funny

Showroom run by the awesome comedian Harry Basile. Extraordinary comic and amazing human being. Well thought of throughout the industry. Wonderful place to come to get your laugh on. New talent mixed with legends old school Vegas vibe. Love the green room, He’s a fan of all the greats. Jerry Lewis, Rodney Dangerfield, Rich Little, Roseanne, Dice the list goes on and on in fact the history literally covers the walls.

This place took a minute to find considering we arrived for our 10:00 pm show at 9:55 and still had to redeem our tickets to Andrew Dice Clay. Finally found it on the second floor of the casino. Basically a standard showroom from the casinos built in the 1990s, the space has low ceilings with a very intimate appeal. The two statues when you walk into the theater are quite disturbing as they actually look like real people. Turns out one is Rodney Dangerfield and not sure who the other person is. The full service bar looked great but I didn’t have a chance to grab a drink as we were seated immediately and assumed there was a waitress going around but there wasn’t. The VIP booths looked very comfortable and although we ended up sitting at a table to the right of the stage it seems every seat is a good one in the showroom. Would definitely go back to this venue for more comedy acts!

The Laugh Factory is located on the Mezzanine level of the Tropicana. The venue is small and intimate, but the seating arrangement is horrible! They seat 4 to a tiny table and it’s way too cramped. You’ll smell burps, farts, and body odor for sure! It’s an obstacle to use the restroom or grab a drink, so handle your business before the show starts. I personally try to sit towards the back. Shows are hit or miss, just depends on the comedians that night. I’m usually amused for the most part.

I attended the Laugh Factory on my first night in Vegas. Laugh Factory was located inside the Tropicana hotel and in close proximity to where I was staying. I had my trip booked six months in advance so I was looking for various activities and I’m a fan of comedy shows and thought it would be a good idea. I purchased a Groupon offer $ 45 for two in general admission. I believe their was a two drink minimum, but they were reasonably priced. There were four comedians and they all were somewhat funny, but I generally had a good time.

Just saw the«comedian» Shang at the Laugh Factory. I have never left a comedy show so upset. His act was based on attacking Republicans, insulting our troops overseas, and implying law enforcement officers are racists. Am nervous to ever support the Laugh Factory if this is the quality of performer they look for. I’m all for political humor, but this crossed the line as feeling like he genuinely hates anyone who disagrees with him and that negative energy is what came across. I will say the other comedians were funny. I think their names were Kevon and Gooch Hahn. They saved the evening.

I did like the smaller venue, it was nice to be closer to the comedians. If the comedians were good and made us laugh, instead of laughing at their own jokes, it would have been better.

Went there on Nov 19th, 2015. There were three comedians on that night’s show. The host which was also the opening guy did pretty good — he did built up a nice comedy club atmosphere. The second guy was so bad that dragged my review to a 3-star. I laugh pretty easily, but this second guy had the tendency of cutting of his last couple of words in EVERY sentence. Literally, EVERY sentence of his speech had a couple of words missing. I wasn’t joking nor being sarcastic here — a guy who can’t finish a full and complete sentence chose to talk for a living. His jokes are not funny neither. He seemed temperamental, but not in a good nor comedian way. It was a-w-k-w-a-r-d~~~

The comedians were funny and the hour passed by quickly. I would go again. $ 12 for well drink and I believe $ 6ish for a coke. Good thing I’m light weight. My biggest complaint would be the crappy seating arrangements. Usher wanted my girl friend and I to sit apart with two people in between us. He moved us to another table so we could sit right next to each other but that meant we were in between another couple. sucked! Come on, people go to shows together expecting to sit next to each other!

Saw Rich Little last night at The Laugh Factory in the Tropicana. Small crowd of older folks. Only about 25 seats filled. We paid extra for VIP seating, but everyone was given VIP seats. Bummer! Mr. Little put on a good show. An hour long. He still has lots of talent. Loved the Johnny Carson bit! If I were asked to make improvements I would suggest they relocate TVs so audience could see them without twisting their bodies. And one more thing.. . Mr. Little really doesn’t need to dye his hair. We would love him with his natural color. We got old, so he can too.

LOVEDTHESHOW — HATEDTHEVENUE! PROS: 1. Intimate venue, I could reach up and touch the performer. CONS: 1. Old uncomfortable seats, tiny tables, super crowded. No VIP area or private tables are available. I got tickets in the VIP, «gold circle» section but was seated at a small table with another couple. 2. Rude staff. I was the first in line to see the show and was offered a crappy location with seats actually one behind the other and not even at the table! This is supposed to be VIP! When I asked the cranky old man for a table for two, he said, «this is the way the tables are, they set it up like this I can’t change anything.» There were just tables and seats jumbled together with no rhyme or reason. You would expect for VIP you would at least get a reserved seat at a private table. Even the VIP booths aren’t private. They jam as many people in there as they can. 3. For VIP at other Vegas shows you get a free drink. This place, nothing. 4. No waitress or bar staff. Even in the VIP section you have to go stand in line and get your drinks in the small bar in the back. 5. The show included videos and still pictures displayed on small poorly located t.v.‘s. So even though I was sitting in front of the stage not 3 feet from the performance I had to crane my head around to see a small t.v. screen to get the full act. Bad design. The place is very old and needs some serious updates, reserved seating and a true VIP section! BOTTOMLINE: Go for the show, not for the venue or atmosphere. Drinks are pricey once they have you inside. This is a comedy show, not a dance club or «exclusive» venue. Expect a long line, rude seating staff, small tables, uncomfortable chairs, and no ambiance(no pre-show music or t.v.).

Overall, we had a great time. We bought general admission tickets a half hour before the show. There was no need to upgrade our seats because the venue was small and you could see and hear from any angle. Before we went in, an employee took a picture of our party. I thought that was a little over the top(but we ended up buying it!) The room was small which was great, but it seemed either a bit dated or run down, I can’t decide. In the end, it doesn’t matter because you’re really just focused on the show. Each comedian was great. We laughed the whole time. I was disappointed that the drinks were a little pricey considering I could just be downstairs at the casino getting free ones, but it didn’t bother me enough to not buy them. After the show, the comedians came out so we could meet them. They signed the matting of the photo that we took before the show. Clever. Good times.

Before my trip to Vegas I was searching Groupon for discounted tickets and restaurants deals. I found a Groupon to the Laugh Factory that included 2 general admission tickets at $ 40. We were planning to stay at the Tropicana on our trip and I figured that seeing stand-up comedy for $ 20/per person was a great deal. We looked up the comedians on the weekend we were there and decided Monday night looked the best. After buying the Groupon all you need to do is go to the Tropicana show ticket booth inside the hotel and pick up the tickets for the show you wish to attend. There are shows every night at 8:30 and 10:30 and seating is selected when you arrive. We showed up at 8:00pm on a Monday night and the line was short. The usher took our tickets and sat the two of us at a table to ourselves. The theater was very small so everyone had a good view and was close to the stage. I liked the intimate feeling of the venue. There was a host to the show and 3 comedians and I thought all of them were very funny and entertaining. For $ 20 this was a great show to add to our trip and I’d recommend going if you see it, especially with the Groupon!

This place is hit or miss depending on the comics performing on a given night since they rotate out every 3 days or so. Each show features 3 performers and usually at least 1 or 2 of them are funny enough to have me laughing. The venue itself is pretty bare bones and never more than half full, if even. It’s a show on the strip so pricey drinks are a given. I think I paid 4 bucks for a can of Coke once?

Bought tickets to a show last week on Groupon, wound up with 2VIP tickets for $ 35. Sweet. Upon entry I realized the venue was TINY and VIP seating meant I was sitting practically on the stage. Literally, had my foot resting on the stage during the show because my chair was touching it. Cool, but scary when you’re at a standup comedy show since the front people usually become jokes… Yup. This happened. Though the venue was so small and not packed that pretty much everyone in the room became a joke at some point. Fun — and the small venue actually made it a more involved show, almost like we were a little crew with the jokes personalized to us. I still think they could promote this show better to at least fill the room and get the word out. Also the loss of star comes from drink prices. $ 6 for a 6oz water? Come on now. I don’t even wanna know how much hubby’s drink cost…
