Lee’s Wine Experience

One of the best alcohol events in vegas every year.
This was the first year at the Tropicana (I think), the previous ones I attended were held at the LV Hilton/​Westgate hotel. Was able to score some cheap tickets on Living Social, 60 bucks for 2 people, although I think some other people did better.
and they shaved an hour off the event this year… booo
still, 4 hours were plenty to get my drink on!
my fellow wine drinker had to work, poor gal missed out, so I went with a few buddies
actually didn’t try to many wines, but had a whole lot of scotch, vodka, beers, NO TE-​KILL-​YA, rum (Tippy Cow!), etc…
as has become popular lately, there were quite a few flavored varieties of each alcohol, a few that I haven’t seen til now. Blue Moon actually had a horchata flavored brew, of course there was It’s Not Your Dad’s Root Beer (ugh, drank way too many of these…), loved the Orange Cream Tippy Cow… their mint one too, Root beer flavored Whiskey, Rumchata, tried quite a few IPA’s of course, Grey goose, Alien Vodka, Sea Vodka, various varieties of Jim Beam, a small section of Sakes, another hosting Sochu… all in all, The Willy Wonka Factory of alcohols!
I’m not sure if these facilities were smaller or if the crowds have gotten bigger, because this one seemed pretty crowded. It’s a great event though, everyone seems to be happy drunks, and by 530 – 6, you could tell most had enough to be DUI… of course LV Metro had a couple officers standing by the entrance as a warning!
This is the 4^th year I have attended, always look forward to this now. It’s really a great event to try a lot of different alcohols… sort of like an alcohol buffet? Well, it’s only taken me 5 days to sober up and write this review…
